Domino's Pizza in Torridge

The customer service I experienced was nothing short of appalling. The representatives I dealt with were not only rude but also displayed an astonishing level of arrogance and disregard for basic professionalism. I would strongly advise against spending a single penny with this company, as their treatment of customers is absolutely unacceptable. Over the course of my interaction, I spoke to three different people over the phone, and each encounter was worse than the last. Their attitude was disgraceful, and it was clear that providing genuine assistance was not a priority for them. In all my years of dealing with customer service, I have never encountered anything so shockingly bad. It left me feeling frustrated and completely disrespected. Such behavior is inexcusable, and I would urge others to avoid this company at all costs.

We have used Dominos, Biddeford for years, but noticed the standards have slipped lately. Our previous visit was abysmal, but we gave it another go, only to get unfriendly staff, food not cooked properly and fries instead of wedges. Suffice it to say, enough is enough, never again.

Ordered 2 pizzas for delivery and they arrived within 30 mins no problem would highly recommend and we where staying out of Bideford at a remote address.

After being a ‘delivery’ customer for years and trying to place an order last weekend for delivery, only to find after taking ages to put together the order that you don’t deliver?! Phoned the store to be told that the company decided it was no longer viable to deliver in my area! As if Dominies can’t afford to sustain that! Anyways.. I’m off to Fireaway… a locally based establishment that deserves some local custom!

It's a domino's - you know what your going to get food wise, although it's not clear how much it'll cost because of the overcomplicated pricing system, even the friendly member of staff who served me wasn't sure until they had put my order into the system (a single pizza).

Staff were helpful and polite. Turned out that ordering on the app was cheaper so they explained that we could sit in and do that. Pizza's were quick to be made. Thankyou 🍕

While we’ve consistently received excellent service and enjoyed hot and tasty food, I believe Domino’s should consider revisiting their Supreme Carbonara Pizza. Perhaps adding more ingredients or giving it a new name could enhance the overall experience.

The Pizza is mostly good it can be a bit greasy sometimes but most of the time it’s good. Delivery is always quick and the people delivering are polite. The price can be a bit mental but deals on the app make them better. It’s good and I would recommend

Useless never put the topping on rite forget the sauce you name it and I still buy it like a fool because I hope it gets better but it never dose lol if you want to be mildly let down and annoyed go here for food

I had a delivery today and it was still nice and hot and tasted really good and the person who delivered it was genuinely happy and friendly.

Dropped in on Domino’s in Bideford on the way back from a day out with my two teenage boys who are always ravenous. Service and food were impeccable, shout out to Pete and Sharon who served us.

I've ordered a couple of times, it's never been either exceptionally good or bad, although they were late on one past occasion. More recently a Domino's driver came to me when I'd not even ordered anything. The daft cow mowed down a few shrubs on my garden border, destroying them, and wasn't at all properly in control of her vehicle (my CCTV showed her driving with one hand, with her phone in her other hand). She was in the wrong street, but that did not stop her from cussing about the access to my address. Everyone heard her bad language from indoors. By the time I got to my door she had left (a big thank you to Facebook locals who could tell me who she was.) Long story, short, it got chased up with Domino's head office and they were horrified by what the CCTV revealed. Pete the manager at Bideford was nothing short of unprofessional, but his regional manager saw the debacle for what it was and paid for the damage caused.

This was a very clean Domino’s - food prepared and ready quickly - helpful staff, we will definitely go again

Massive Bbq disaster.... its OK pizza to the rescue. So had a whip round and went to domino's.... sorry not taking cash. No option for a card payment for me. So went else where. Shame that was a big order to loose. Cash excepted elsewhere so bbq saved.

2 large pizzas ordered on the app and were delivered really quickly. Delivery charge £2.49 from Bideford to Westward Ho and I think that's cheap. The pizzas were tasty and hot. The Delivery driver was friendly. I don't know why they have a low rating as we have been using them for many years and have always had excellent food and service.

Prepared fast, pizza was lovely and hot can't fault the store. Feel Domino's In general is too expensive and would always choose pappa John's if available.

Came in to pick up two pizzas for me and my partner this evening. On the drive up my car window got over in muck and dirt and I could hardly see, I asked if they were able to get me a cup of water just to splash it over the window and one of the workers came right out to help me, he had some water in his car he gave me. He was honestly so kind and I just had to praise him for being so. Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name.

Absolutely shocking service, walk-in wins is an absolute LIE ordered and was told 10mins go back to the shop next door come back only to be told it was just going being cooked and it would be ANOTHER 10 MINUTES…staff don’t give a dam

Like most Domino, very nice pizzas. Took forever to make thought. I was 15 minutes away and left about 10 minutes after ordering. Then had to sit in the carpark for 20 minutes once I got there. They weren't that busy either.

Ordered food online to where I was staying. They delivered it to the wrong address once and resent the order with some cookies as compensation and a refund. This reorder was then also delivered to the wrong address YET AGAIN. Do not use their delivery service as the drivers can't work out how to get to the right destination and check they give poeple the right food not other peoples. Can't even rats the food as didn't even get it. Very disappointed.

Food did not arrive, when we most needed it Used many a time, this being the first of any significance, but still no help, even after 2 hours of waiting. Not very professional, as no dignified help could be given over multiple handlers, and lied to over arrival of food, which never came! Still hungry, still out for delivery apparently. 23:43 and it shuts at 23:00, lovely stuff

What can you say, pizza freshly made in about 12 mins, all good, tasty and filling, but have had better pizzas from other take aways before. However I would buy again as a treat.

Terrible service, been waiting 2 hours for two pizzas and some chicken..and still waiting.. not a huge order. No answer when phoning, do not recommend. Edit: Two hours later after ordering and dominos are saying they are no longer able to deliver to this location. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

I ordered through the app as normal, turned up to collect and was stood there for a good few minutes at the collection point while no less that 5 staff members looked at me, saw me standing there, and proceeded to ignore me. After about 5mins I had to call over the counter “is anyone on collection” just as the phone was ringing. I literally got a sullen faced young lady who just said “yeh it’s me” before asking my name and the then picking up the phone and having a conversation while very slowly gathering my order, until one of the older gentlemen took over and handed it to me. Shocking customer service.

3 hour wait had to drive and pick up myself. Staff are clueless and rude.

Quick and easy for what you pay for

All staff I’ve spoken too here when I’ve rang are so rude! If it’s busy that’s fine, you should be letting people know it’s busy, it’s not acceptable to say 30-45 mins for a pizza and then over an hour later it’s still in prep, you ring and just get rudeness and sarcastic comments!!

Under-cooked and doughy. What a load of rubbish. I've had dominoes all around the country and this is definitely the worst - 3x pizzas ordered, 3 bad experiences. The cheese isn't even melted.

Hate to be pedantic but the pizza was not cut properly. I had to tear the slices from each other and also where the cuts meet In the centre it looked like a real mess. It's a disappointment that the person cutting it didn't feel that I deserved their best effort on this occasion

Have used this place many times. And usually it is good. Tonight however, somewhat disappointed. Ordered on the app, was told 26 -31 minutes for the order. With no delivery available. Over an hour goes by and the app still says still in preparation. When I go up there my food is on the cou ter waiting to go in the oven. The lady who served me was helpful and explained. But listening to the foul mouthed attitude of others behind the counter was unacceptable.

Ordered pizza for collection. Once I got to the shop I waited about 5/6 minutes before anyone said hello/ served me. About 4 different staff members looked at me and saw I was there and all chose to ignore me. Eventually a staff member who had walked passed me several times came and greeted me, and gave me my pizzas that had been sitting there for over 10 minutes. Luckily everything given to me was correct. However the garlic bread wasn't cut.

Very good garlic bread. Staff are lovely and very nice. I would eat there everyday if i could!! Haha... Just kidding. Still great service <3

Pizzas are lovely but the cost is extortionate. Can pop to Asda and get one made up, tastes as good, for £5. Thet cant justify the cost of dough and a sprinkling of filling.

Addicted to the double decadence crust its lovely, they will however consistently take your money for extras dip and not send them as well as leave jalapenos off nachos.

Six of us ordered for a night in and the food was great. It was hot, delivered quickly and was very tasty.

I am not a pizza fan but our grandson wanted this. We got a bogoff - two for £18 and they were enormous and I must say delicious. We ordered on the app which lets you know when collection is, and this is a great idea. There was more than enough for three, and we took some slices to the beach the next day and they were still as delicious

It's a Domino's. I think they are all the same.

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to domino's for tea. It took 25 minutes to deliver and food was only warm. Pizza boxes were crushed like something heavy had been put on them. One Pizza was stuck to box and one looked like slop all toppings including tomato sauce was on one side of Pizza like it fell into the oven. Very disappointed spent over £40 and was only fit for the dogs but they enjoyed it.

If you order online be prepared to wait for about 5 times longer than expected. My order should have been 12 minutes, ended up waiting an hour. Not the fault of the staff, they were apologetic for the delay and the pizza was very nice when we eventually got it.

Ordered in-store and waited outside, longer wait than was told but the pizzas were good sides perfect and nothing to fault there, friendly and positive customer service too

We have ordered many times and never been disappointed. We have always received it within the estimated time given, food has been to a good standard as expected and hot. And we have never had a mistake in an order. Well done to the Team at Bideford Domino's !!

First time ordering at this location. Pizza arrived cold, nacho’s order was wrong and burnt hardly any salsa or cheese. 8 minute journey according to Google, but took much longer after confirmation text that is was on its way. Had pizza from out local that is a similar distance and always hot. Beware if you have a food allergy they might get that wrong too!

Order was wrong, when I tried to call I could get no answer. On top of that the Pizza was cold.

Disappointed with tonight’s order - did not deliver full order and would not answer phone in order to rectify mistake. This will be the last time I order from this franchise.

Whilst Domino's is a chain I have found that they do vary from store to store. The Bideford store was very good though. I ordered 3 large pizza's for collection by phone and they said they would be 10 minutes. They were on the £8.99 per pizza collection deal which is great value. I arrived to collect them exactly 10 minutes after placing my order and they we just being quality checked when I arrived. We made some customisation to our pizza's and everything was just as we wanted. The pizza's were piping hot and the toppings were generous and well presented. The staff were also very polite, friendly and accommodating. All in all a very good Domino's Pizza experience.

Do not rely on the timings and expect a bit of a rude reception if there are 2 people in the store and you try to let them know you are there to collect. I placed an order for 6.30pm. I arrived at 6.25pm, there were 2 customers in the store, the door was open. I walked in to let them know I was there only to be met with 2 of the staff inbthe prep area shouting at me "only 2 people in the store!". I asked how I was supposed to identify myself then. They just repeated their demand. I thwn noticed on the open door that there was a sign stating max of 2. So i left. It was mayhem. To make matyers worse, they were struggling to cope with the demand and there were several people waiting for a 6.30pm order. Mine arrived at 7pm. Very poor show today I'm afraid.

Three pizzas, one really good, one OK, the other a bit grim with too much cheese! Not much more to say given the generic nature of Dominos.

On holiday visiting North Devon, I turned off the main road to use a supermarket petrol station. I saw Domino's Pizza restaurant at Atlantic Park, and decided to order a pizza from them. Helpful friendly staff, who made me an outstanding pizza. Not something I have often, but it was delicious, straight from the oven, hot fresh and mouthwatering good. Thank you to the helpful team.

Domino's is Domino's but I've always found Bideford's drivers really polite. The in store folks just forgot the jalapeños on my American hot (which is kind of the reason the American Hot exists, surely?) but offered to resend it or chuck me some credit. Excellent customer service right there. Well done.

Wow,I actually walked from the premier inn 100 yards away as it seemed an easier option than the complexed mix match multitude of offers that bamboozled the page .. Erm , well no maybe not .. i went through the menu , asked front desk attendee what offers etc.. after selecting any size pizza 9.99 with stuffedcrust etc assured in with price , dough balls ,Kicking chicken in with deal ,confirmed !coleslaw and ice cream , check ... 10 mins erm computer says no !!! call in Rob manager ... goes through order informs front desk attendee , this is how it should be , manager walks away que front desk attendee , we cant do chicken and dough balls but you can have more dough ballsor more bread of a sort , garlic etc oh and now you ll need to pay £3 extra for your stuffed crust , the one I said was all in .. another 10 mins !!! so now ive got to rethink order again ( wont bore you with those details, but you get the picture .. more problems with inputting details in till, que manager rob again.. rib sorts til , but also states thst all the confusion is caused by the way the deals are set ..hmmmm now that riled me .. ive stood there for now st least half an hour -40 mins maybe and manager rob is now pointing out its the computer , i pointed out to rob that the reason i came iver was too avoid online and asked everything in person to the attendee and suggested nicely that mightnoylt be the only readon having spent so long going through it , to Robs reply maybe some retraining might be in order , exit Rob.. so in short as my fingers are now hurting.. your staff are as good as there training ,so you cant blame them and your only as good as tbe example of your manager , which is at best poor for a Dominoes.. So Rob thank you for giving me the order i didnt really order and advise anyone theres much better experiences and better ways to dpend an hour of your time when getting something to eat .. My advice find a pizxa place thats local , that has a knowledge of the deals they offer and pay less instead of a brand name . .. oh and Rob when your giving re-training , maybe get some yourself hey.. all i wanted was the chicken and stuffed crust that i was told i vould have.. merry Christmas..

As a rare Domino's (and fast food in general) customer, the chap at the counter was super helpful in working out the best combo deal for us as people just walking in. Pizza great all round.

Booked our Pizza 2 hrs in advance of needing it for a specific collection time. However the Pizza's were 15 mins late causing a delay to our evening very annoying, no apology or discount applied.

Never had Domino's Pizza before but as it was across the parking lot from our room at Premier Inn we decided to try it. Although we called the order in then went to pick it up at the designated time, we still had to wait a while for it. The wait was worth it as the crust wa cooked to perection and the ingredients where freshly prepared making this a great pizza. They don't have tables to eat there so we took it back to our room which was more relaxing.

Constantly getting things wrong, give them feedback hoping there improve however you just get a manager to call back and say have some credit rather then deal with the problem. Went to use some credit a few days ago got told sorry can't do offers and credit together first on me. If you want decent pizza use Just Eat and "The Drift Restaurant" in Westwood Ho!

Have ordered many times from various Dominoes all over the country and have never been let down until lastnight. The pizza tasted nothing like it was meant too, it didnt taste cooked properly and ingredients were missing. This has put me off ever ordering from them again.

🍕 Please note, you can't get the fun little blocks you stand in a row, knock one over and watch them all fall down here. I did try it but the pizza slices just stuck together. It's a Dominos Pizza. Not exactly inspiring food. Certainly serves a purpose for a night in, and I have to say that the delivery times are pretty quick. If you are stuck for choice go with the Milano.

Although in the past has been pretty good I was disappointed with today. I asked for delivery at 5.30 and it arrived at 5.50 with no call to say it would be late. On the tracker it was sitting at 'quality check' for 30 minutes. When the driver arrived he just pushed the bag towards me expecting me to take it out myself, the dips we had ordered were not what we got. I asked him and his response was 'I don't know, I don't pack them'. Also no apology from him for being late and no surprise as the pizza was sitting around for 30 minutes waiting to be delivered it was cold.

First visit to Bideford's Dominoes. Fabulous. They found me the best deal using a voucher, and saved me £10 on what I was expecting. Very friendly staff, remembered me when I went back to collect. Food ready on time. Pizza tasted good. We will return.

They hadn't long been open when I visited and I placed my order online. Arrived to collect it and they admitted they'd made a mistake, so we're remaking a pizza - so there would be a delay. Gave me some extra cookies by way of apology - a small gesture that was appreciated. Food itself was very good.

Beautiful little place, gorgeous pizza, excellent customer service always with a smile and you gotta try the doughballs 😀
