Danny's Kitchen in Gateshead

Would recommend! I'm New to the area and all the Chinese places have been rotten so far, so I tried Danny's kitchen today and have finally found a lush Chinese. Between us we go chicken batter balls, 4 meat in Cantonese sauce and a chicken fried rice. It was all really good

Best Chinese in Deckham! When I collect, food is done in 15 mins. Quick, easy transaction. Food is great everytime! Now the only place I go.

Don’t be fooled by the basic frontage and inside - the food is superb with generous portions. Quick service, and cooked fresh.

Used Danny's for years, but sorry to say the last few takeaways have been terrible, greasy, tasteless, new menus so I think it has changed owners, time for a new Chinese take away for us

I’m going to give this review all 0 as I saw would not recommend coming back to Danny’s kitchen no more my family been there 1 year know we bought a takeaway from them last night and are food was really stoned cold greasy has hell my dad phoned up to tell them and he said it’s should be like that I woke up this morning with bad food poisoning I totally not coming back here no more I’m going to complain to the company to check there restaurant and shut them down as I was being sick for 1h know and bad tummy

Best place I’ve ever eaten from food is out of this world my family will not eat Chinese from anywhere else…… delivered within 15-20 mins 1000*s

Tried it for the first time tonight, two happy customers here. We have not had a better Chinese takeaway elsewhere in Gateshead, sure we will be back!

Wife n I tried this for first time really enjoyed it only 4 stars as still to try various other dishes but certainly worth travelling from hebburn as we both feel there's none too good closer to home will defo be back

Ordered the Munchie Box from Danny’s and it was definitely one of the best I’ve had, portion sizes were great, chicken was a bit tough but I’m assuming it’s probably pre-cooked and then warmed through again (Most takeaways will do this), I can’t comment on the ribs as I ordered without them but the rest of the food in the box was great alongside their tasty curry sauce which unlike most places didn’t come with a skin over the top. All in all, definitely the new local Chinese I’ll be using!

Ordered from here because of a friend's recommendation. The delivery drivers are always nice and well mannered, the food tastes great, always arrives on time, if not early, piping hot and the freshness is undeniable. Danny's kitchen has become my go to Chinese to order from. I'd highly recommend.

Ordered shredded chicken in black bean sauce, fried rice and salt & chilli chips. Although the chicken, chips and rice were nice enough, the black bean sauce had NO flavour or taste whatsoever. Very disappointing!

Ribs are the best ever, the chicken curry had the biggest chunky chicken, great flavours, fantastic quick service and my hubby reckons the best prawn crackers he has ever had. Will continue to use Danny's great service great value for money and most of great flavours and hot food delivered.

First time ordering from here the aromatic duck was amazing and the salt and chilli chicken was very tasty only small criticism I could say the chicken were big bits I prefer the chicken to be smaller and crispier

Pictures don't do it justice, I won't order anywhere else and drive from Sunderland for this bad lad and even got my mam eating here too, boxes are bigger than the look, just absolutely delicious 😋

Always amazing flavours and with that bit extra. It's my favourite Chinese by far. Nice beef and cashew nuts. 😋 Lovely oyster and garlic house special. Peking duck and pancakes starter. Generous house special fried rice, (with huge king prawns, chicken etc. Really good with curry sauce). Nice chips. Always served hot and tastes fresh. Danny's add vegetables like water chestnuts, Bamboo shoots and baby corn, not just onions like other places. Catered for my birthday in July and nothing too much trouble, we're on time and totally reliable, even a courtesy call. We've converted friends and family once they've tried a meal from Danny's. Lovely polite staff too, always a good experience. Danny's is very busy, therefore popular, so that speaks for itself. Thanks from us. 😋😋😋 X

Possibly the worst Chinese I have had. Got munchie box some sort of flakes on that were way too salty no flavour to the curry let alone spice really greasy too

Ordered king do spare ribs & yes there wasn’t as many & they were well over cooked & dry, talk about cut backs ? normally there fine but even The sauce is a bit thin now... sort it out.

Just ordered chicken chow mein, special fried rice, beansprouts ,chip and a carton of curry delivered for under £20. Have to say it was absolutely beautiful very very tasty, 3full plates of beautiful food and all delivered in twenty minutes now that's service ... Thanks very much absolutely beautiful , mind every time I go there the same 😎😎😎😎

Very disappointed!! Used to love this place however we tried to order for delivery. Waited 2 hours before phoning up to be told they would make another one to which i replied 'What!? Make another one? ' but the story then changed to no not another one we will make it now and it won't be long. I obviously refused as I find that very unprofessional. We won't be back as you clearly don't need the business.

Love this place, it's our regular Chinese takeaway. With the Chinese takeaways I used to use at home, the food was heavy, greasy and sloppy. The vegetables here are fresh, the meat is great (sometimes the chicken can be hit and miss, but more hit than miss!) and the sauces are very tasty. Very friendly staff too. I'd recommend the Chicken Satay! This is probably the best in the Felling area... and we've tried them all!
