First time in beers were not good. Tasted like Pipe cleaner . Bar staff didn't seem bothered. Won't be going again. There are better places in lowfell to go.

Had an terrible experience here having travelled across town to visit this pub for the first time. Ordered a pint of cask beer, had a small sip and it tasted off (sour, vinegar taste, murky, probably dirty lines or had been sat in the lines for ages). I politely pointed this out and the barmaid assured me it was "normal". Drank some more and it was clearly off, politely asked again "are you sure?". The reply was "I can replace it but you'll have to pay again.". I should have been more forceful at the time and demanded a fresh pint but was quite shocked by the barmaid's attitude and didn't want to create a fuss in a place I didn't know. Shocking beer and shocking service.

Great little addition to the nightlife in Low Fell. Small and cosy, but not as small as you might have assumed from the outside. Always a warm welcome for patrons (and their dogs) and a wide selection of beers, spirits and snacks.

The bar is like a tardis, small on the outside and spacious on the inside, featuring classy music, friendly bar staff and a great weekly gin. Also the bloke with the Bob Ross resembling hair is extremely polite and friendly, especially when he served me.

Brilliant boozer, staff are excellent. Beers are top class.

Lovely atmosphere, genuine and kind staff!

Having been here on this building for the last several years I decided to return , so sorry for them. They seem to rely on the fortunes of the other branches in the local brewery. There was no one else and I arrived at after opening time. I hope they know how hard and difficult it’s going to be in the next 2-3 years, that this Country of ours is going to hopefully return to a better UK driven push. Dated September 2022 Have found this local run and owned pub chain several years ago. Over the years they have become very popular with the introduction of spirits, especially gin of all flavours. The staff are friendly and over the months I’ve got to know a couple of their friendly staff. Their fully licensed hours are clearly seen on their web site. Last night I visited for the last time before Christmas. There is a quick turnover of Christmas groups visiting this pub/bar. The staff clean and sanitise, when a customer leaves their drinking area. The extra bonus, is that they encourage dog owners to visit. Valentines Day celebrations take this excellently Managed Local pub/cocktail bar in the heart of Whitley Bay. They were the first Locally owned Brewery, which now have a branch in Low Fell, Gateshead. At the Park View bar/cocktail is Managed by a very committed young Manager. Erin, has been with the Brewery, since she was too young to sell at the bar, due to our strict licensing law. Erin knows her role and has a keen knowledge of cocktails and has built up this business to a very high standard. G&S are dog friendly, so as a dog host I take my dogs to this bar. Advertise 4 ales but only one available at 5pm on a Friday evening, how disappointing.Start cleaning lines at 6pm Friday, surely this should be done earlier? This place is going downhill and needs sorting soon otherwise I can see it closing.

Good atmosphere, good beers, good location

At last a craft ale pub in Low Fell. Exactly what I'd hope and expect from such an establishment. Bravo.

I am part of a group that supports local brewery's and their pubs, but I was infirm by a local customer of thus pub, it isn't a pub for me or pepole like me as we were classed as rif raf we were told be the loyal customer prices started at £5 a pint, whick we don't mind paying, but to be judged because we weren't wearing our work suits we were told we would not be welcome and we looked like we couldn't afford the prices,so we are part of a large decent group of independent brewery's, but we will take our business to other more welcoming local brewery's, and have spread the word about the dress code sad for local businesses with the customers thdt stop lovers of local ales fur to their standards

Excellent bar friendly staff great local beer brewed in Whitley Bay what's not to like.

2 beers sampled, Dark Knight was good, the other had fruity undertone and clouds. Noise level too high due to there being too many hard surfaces reflecting any sounds around(think of noise in public swimming pool) and I have 2 hearing aids! I will visit again later to see if the prices have been increased as happens in Low Fell. Staff friendly and efficient and I will tone up my muscles by trying to move the chairs which may have been made by a blacksmith or shipyard.
