Tasting menu by the new chef was amazing. At last a true professional to enhance what is a stunning location. New daily menu exciting, chef even makes his own bread.

Heard there was a new chef. Interesting breakfast menu with great choices. One of us had full breakfast. Lovely homemade potato hash brown. Friendly staff. Had a table by the window and can’t wait to be able to sit outside with the view of the sea.

Arrived at Bridlington links yesterday with a group of friends, nice to see such lovely food served on hot plates, wonderful and attentive staff they could not do enough for us. The meal was absolutely gorgeous and would give it 11/10 if I could everything was cooked to perfection would definitely recommend to everyone and will be telling all my friends how great it is up here.

Our family of 4 had a lovely Sunday Roast lunch (one vegetarian and 3 chicken). Parking was very easy, restaurant was clean, views out to sea were stunning. Service was good, plenty of vegetables and extra gravy were much appreciated.

The name of this restaurant is slightly confusing. It is actually Sewerby Golf course clubhouse, which welcomes non members, plus is dog friendly. The views from the restaurant are stunning across Bridlington Bay. Our well behaved German Shepherd Dog was made very welcome in the dog friendly area of the restaurant. There is a separate dining area for non dog owners. The food was very good for the price which we paid. The staff were all very friendly, professional and extremely helpful. We will definitely be visiting again.

As a golfer I have always extolled the quality of golf club catering. We chose Bridlington links for its convenience and setting, but it has been a while since I played at Bridlington Links & in the interim there has been a significant deterioration in the quality of the food and organisation. Why give out a menu when most of the dishes were not available! Why not say when we booked that it would be a limited menu. There were 5 of us and we all ordered Prawn cocktail only to be told 10 mins later = NO PRAWNS. Main courses were ordered and then told 10 mins later no Gammon only one Pie not three - One of the party had to change his choice 4 TIMES before he found something they could deliver - another of the party had to change three times!. The liver was disgusting so over cooked and in great lumps which had not been prepared correctly and still had the bile ducts insitue. When we got to the the sweet course only one of our party could face the hassle of another order debacle- he order Etton Mess Cheesecake - you guessed it only to be told - No eatton mess chessecake! The table which we were shown to was circular and would not accommodate 5 - we had to push two circular tables together - not easy! This was a family celebration which was really an utter disaster and so disappointing. the only positive thing to say about it all was the amasing Debbie who had the unenviable job of repeatedly telling us they were out of whatsoever which she did with true grit. Would definately NEVER go again - a complete waste of time and money.

Huge smiles and excellent service. Liver bacon on a bed of mash and lemon chicken were the order of the day. Followed by home made burnt orange cheesecake and lemon summer fruit posit. Delicious homemade desserts. The setting couldn't be more delightful with views out to sea from the outside terrace and from the leather chesterfields in the bar area. Mandy cooked lunch and made the desserts and Gilly ? provided bar, table and food service and both were truly excellent. An asset to any business, above and beyond. The lady behind the bar provided local guide information worthy of any tourist board and nothing was too much trouble . This will become a favourite haunt .

My wife and I have visited this restaurant on various occasions and we can honesty say that the service is excellent, my wife is both diabetic and suffers from permanent partial brain damage caused by a fall at home, but that's another story. Getting back to this review, we had starters of home made cream of onion soup, cannot be faulted in any way, we follows this with a ham salad for myself and a prawn cocktail starter for my wife, (she does not eat a lot) again the staff were very helpfull, I can honestly say that we will be returning for many more lunches.........

Visited for Sunday Lunch 17th May 2016, having been here quite a few times before. It used to be a Carvery, but is now waitress "service" or lack of it! The restaurant was fairly busy and we were shown to our seats quickly, but had to wait a long time to order. We noticed another couple complaining that they had waited half an hour for their meal, only to find that they had lost the order. Our plated meat came quite quickly, but there was too much of a gap before the veg arrived. The food was adequate but not inspiring but the main course only cost £7-95 so I suppose we got what we paid for! Nobody came to check if our meal was ok while we were eating it (I always think this is a bad sign). We ordered coffee, but the waitress apologised that they had run out of mints. Overall, very average so we will cross it off our list, as there are many more good places to eat in the area.

We enjoyed a lovely Easter Break at the Bridlington Links Lodges which were on this Golf Complex. Danes Dyke Inn & Restaurant was the only restaurant on site and unfortunately we went on an evening that they had a Wedding Party booked therefore the menu was very limited with a choice of just 6 main courses; battered cod, scampi, breaded goujons, sausage, hot lips chicken which was a dry chicken breast with a pot of chilli dipping sauce and I forget the last choice with it being so memorable, all served with chips (frozen, not homemade). The food was reminicent of a kids meal enjoyed with tomato ketchup. The waitress was lovely but ill-informed about the menu describing one dish incorrectly and not knowing what was served with another. Although the restaurant was seperate from the Wedding Party it didn't stop a couple of the children running around the restaurant and hiding behind diners chairs, not really what you want when you go out for a quiet meal. On the plus side, the view was lovely for 2 of our party who were facing the sea. Perhaps best to ring first to see if they have any parties booked before going!

Firstly the service was very slow, sat us down then after quiet a wait had to ask them to take our order, the wine was warm had to ask for it to be cooled, then they forgot to bring it back to us ,had to ask again, the food when we got it was quiet good, but again service slow, the staff seemed under pressure to cope as there was a party on in other room ,but not enough staff to serve everybody as we should have been,Having finished our main course we were left with a table that needed clearing and had to ask them again ,if the restaurant was full could have understood but it wasn't ,we have been frequent visitors here but felt let down, with this visit as my family was with us for my birthday,Would li,e to ask what's happened to the nicely dressed tables you used to have it felt more like a cafe than restaurant, was very tired looking what a let down

Called in for lunch with my husband after a great golf lesson. Sat by the window and enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and we were made to feel both welcome and valued as customers. The food was really tasty and we will definitely be back. Only one slightly negative observation namely that there were finger prints evident both on the window and on the metal surround of the carvery serving area. They were most visible in the sun! The décor is outdated but did not detract from an overall, really enjoyable experience.

My husband and I dropped in for lunch. The views outside are amazing but the interior of the restaurant area is dated and rather uninspiring. Went on a Sunday with the family and decided to have the carvey. As we were a party of 10 we sat in a room off the main room which I guess they consider a private room. Would have been better in the main dining room. The sun was low and coming straight in the windows. The blinds were broken and inadequate (exactly the same problem as 12 months ago - same broken blinds). The faux leather chairs all had the leather peeling off and are in desperate need of replacing. The room has spare chairs and baby chairs stacked along one wall. There has been no effort made to make this feel like a special room at all. It actually feels like you are imprisoned. It was hot because of the sun and no air conditioning. We opened the windows and this improved it. The service we received was fine. Starters are served. They are quite basic (prawn cocktail, pate, soup, deep fried prawns etc) and attractively displayed but the places they came on had marks from the dish washer - needed a wipe over/polish to get rid of the marks. The carver was disappointing. 3 meats which are carved and quite a generous potion; quality fine. The yorkshire puddings did not succumb to my knife and I feared for my dentist bill! The selection of vegetables disappointing, the swede was still only partly cooked and not mashed and Brussels in a cheese sauce - novel! We were offered puddings which some of our party had and claimed were delicious. All in all this restaurant needs to upgrade and actually take a good look at what they are offering. I have eaten in the bar area before and the food is quite good for bar type food. The carvery however is not good and I personally would not recommend it to anyone.

Our party of 6 visited Dane's Dyke restaurant aka Bridlington Links for an early evening midweek meal. The staff were very welcoming & there was a good atmosphere. We met the chef who was very obliging & offered to make our vegetarian member of the party anything she wanted (if he had the ingredients) if the vegetarian choices on the menu were not to her taste. We took our drinks into the comfortable lounge area overlooking the sea to relax & choose from the extensive menu. Between the 6 of us we chose five (2 having the same choice) of the meals listed which were all pronounced delicious & very good value for money. The portions were generous & the service attentive without being obtrusive. One slight criticism is that the greenery in the side salad which accompanied some of our choices was rather limp! We also sampled the dessert menu - delicious!!Being on the outskirts of Bridlington and away from the main tourist areas it may not be the first choice for visitors but it is well worth the going out of your way for. Good food & very good value for money.

We visited over Easter and loved all the little chocolate eggs hidden around the cafe - kept the kids entertained whilst they waited for their food! Lovely cafe with a great menu. We ordered a range of different food but loved the halloumi burger and cheeseburger especially. It’s great that dogs are allowed in this cafe but as we don’t own a dog, even better that there are two areas - one for dogs and one where dogs aren’t allowed. Service was quick and with a smile, reasonably priced too for restaurant quality food. The only improvement needed is the toilet area - could do with a update!

Stuck a pin in a ( google) map to find a breakfast one hour away from leaving holiday accommodation. What a find. Interesting decor showed off the home made cakes and savouries whilst we waited a few minutes for a table. Breakfast avocado with poached eggs on sourdough bread, sun dried tomatoes, chorizo and pea shoots was divine and substantial. Staff were friendly and obviously enjoyed serving and cooking as much as we enjoyed eating. Make a detour. Worth every mile and every penny.
