A fantastic family restaurant. We are a family who loves going to different restaurants to eat and we've been to so many but we have always come back to Daman Samudra. They have a best desi style food. We now dont bother with other restaurants, we go to Daman Samudra atleast 2 times a month, the food is perfect to our taste and the service is outstanding. The staff now knows us really well and they treat us life family. They know what lur order is and they always welcome us with smiles. All the staffs and owner are amazing with friendly behaviour. This truly is a family restaurant with amazing food. They have always prepared the food to our requirements specially for the kids. Thank you Daman Samura for the great service and great food. We will see you again soon...

Very nice food with one of the best Indian food in Leicester in my opinion with a variety of options for vegetarians and non vegetarian

The restaurant is beautiful the food was good and the atmosphere is amazing

We ordered food and there is no rush in the resturant but we wait 50 minutes for the order

First time in June 2024 Ordered chicken tikka and was pleasantly surprised - served on a hot plate and spiced up Service was excellent - and food to match Highly recommended

Hi, The onions which was with the king prawns fry was burnt and was salty, also the fried rice not so good it was basic taste

Went for a BIG family meal here and everything was spot on to how we ordered the food to our likeings. The dishes were good size and tasted great just like how we cook at home. Service was fine but the place could do with a revamp as it's looks a bit gloomy. But I will definitely come again.

Fresh food u will get on Melton road specially sezhwan chicken lollipop it was best I had today Service is good too . Waiting time is less for food to be on table..restaurant is best for family or gathering time .

Me and a friend who wanted to have a Indian food went down this place was excellent I used to go a lot back in the day tort let’s go back and see if the food is still on point . It was more then I expected it’s was amazing the Nan was fresh and curry was always tasty and fresh I ordered the dhaba style chicken curry and lamb meethi two nans and few beers . Service was good . Overall I have to say the pricing is reasonable also.

Very poor service food was awful was too much oil. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Seems to keep on having new staff. Been a regular here and went to order a take away. Come to pay said don't take card payments for take away. Then says has to be over 25 pounds. Does not say anywhere in store then shows a menu which states only 20 pounds for payment and nothing for only dine in. Felt like was getting ript off. Food is always nice but the service has gone down for the time I have been coming there. May decide to go elsewhere now

Went there for the first with family and we all were impressed with the service. Really good food too!

Love this place. Have eaten here several times. Portion sizes very good. Food very tasty and full of flavour. Ambience very simple and quite basic but we didn't mind this because the food compensated. Very popular and busy restaurant. Staff friendly and they have got their pricing right.

I have been here 3-4 times now with friends, and have to say it's been spot on each time. The menu is good, and the food 100% fresh tasting every time. The front of house staff are always nice, and nothing is a problem for any of them. Keep up the good work please.👍

Not getting that flavour anywhere else, everything nice and fresh. Reasonable portions and prices we almost all the time have leftovers that we can't finish so they pack for us. P

Food was nice and portions were a decent size. In terms of the actual restaurant it really needs to be refurbished. It's very dated and not got a great restaurant atmosphere; the food compensates for this. Even without undergoing a major refurbishment there are small things that can be done to improve the ambience of the place.

Excellent food good size portion and value for money a must try experience.

Recently left a bad review but to be fair always had good experience here in the past just one incident over a takeaway mix up. So review has been removed by me and i am rating based on all my previous experiences at Daman Samudra. Hence 4 stars not 5. I think that is fair.

Food was delicious but too loud environment

Taste good. Got seat as per booking with availability of high chair of little baby as well. Friendly staff.
