Visited dalvee yesterday for the first time, had the best Indian meal we’ve had in a long time, food and staff brill, will defo be going again and again. Will certainly be reccomending to friends. Thank you dalvee see you soon. Colin- hanne jackson.🤓🇩🇰👍

After reading reviews we wanted to try this as we really miss an Indian vegetarian restaurant where we used to live. It looked like lots of veggie options on the menu but to be honest it felt like there wasn’t much when we came to looking at the menu. Service was not the best. We were shown to our table which wasn’t ready, would have been better to let us wait while it was prepared and cleared. Food was disappointing we shared two different starters but no side plates to use so was a bit awkward to try and share. The mains also we got two different ones so could share. We got two different kinds of bread. We were not asked if we wanted any more drinks or desert but to be honest we just wanted to leave. The toilet was disgusting I went in and it there was wet all over the floor around the toilet. Someone obviously didn’t manage to use it properly . We will not visit again. Very poor veggie meal disappointing and we really hoped it was going to match our favourite Mango in Wetherby.

Our first experience of this gem. Superb service and a nice authentic atmosphere. An easy menu with plenty of choice. The food (I had the three curry choice) was absolutely amazing. Cooked to perfection with the right amount of spice. Lovely traditional lager also. Definitely recommend this restaurant. We’ll be back!

First time visit.. amazing food and service. Food quality and menu choice takes you on a trip to India. The taste of the food was full of spices. I have to mention the flavoured popadom was something I’ve never seen or tasted before. I highly recommend the restaurant. We will be back.

Dragon chicken starter Achari lamb (spicy) Main Both excellent dishes. Full of flavour and the lamb fell apart. Would definitely recommend. Service was great.

Had an excellent anniversary meal in Dalvee in Poulton. The Indian fusion food was different and delicious - would highly recommend the Desi croissants to start! Staff were brilliant and made us feel welcome and special throughout the meal. 15% off before 6.30 as well. Absolutely the best meal out I've had in years.

First class evening meal, cooked to order by Seema. We had no prior knowledge of the restaurant but couldn’t have been more satisfied by the food and the welcome. The tasty mixed starter was beautifully presented and the curries which followed were delicious. We shall certainly return on our next visit.

Had a lovely meal at Dalvee tonight. A first visit & the owner took the time to welcome us & explain the dishes available. The food was top notch. An upmarket Indian restaurant which made a pleasant change from the norm. Will be visiting again soon.

We have visited this restaurand a number of times. We find the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. This is not your run of the mill restaurant, more a place which provides exquisite food. The owner and head chef is always on hand to chat, and discuss the food, and many other things. It is truly excelleant. A treat not to be missed.

Dalvee is a truly outstanding gem. I absolutely love coming here to dine; everything from the drinks to the food to the service is impeccable. I cannot negatively critique the team in the slightest, and whenever I am in the area, I make a beeline for Dalvee! The food is significantly above the standards of several Michelin starred restaurants in London: beautifully presented and flavours crafted so well. The spice levels are personalised to every order, without impacting on overall flavour, and the masala mix with the thali is well rounded with the perfect kick! The portion sizes are quite generous too -- I am always full after the thali! I love the cocktail menu with twists on classics too. I really enjoy that the menu is rotational -- you get the opportunity to sample new dishes every 4 weeks or so! -- and so I have an excuse to invite myself up to Poulton to try out the latest new dishes! Massive congratulations to the owner and her team for cultivating such culinary excellence 🥰

Fabulous place and fabulous food and service. I am allergic to onions and they put on FB that they could do dishes onion free. I certainly wasn't disappointed. I was given a choice of 2 starters and they had made me a chicken curry. I chose to have the platter, which includes a bread and a rice plus sald and a dip. It was fabulous. Dalvee herself came to talk to us at the end too. All my friends really enjoyed their meals too. This place is lovely and I would highly recommend it. I will defo be going back.

What an amazing restaurant. Authentic Indian food prepared with pride and passion. Super friendly service from start to finsh with a visit to your table from Chef to top the whole experience off. A small, focussed menu with quality ingredients provided our party with the best Indian food we've ever eaten. No food clourings here, just expertly prepared, perfectly spiced dishes to die for. This place is a class act.

All staff were attentive and knowledgeable but the standout was Seema (owner / chef) personally guiding us through the menu. Even when dining on NYE she took the time to take us through the menu and offer insights that enhanced our dining experience. It's a must-visit for those seeking not just great Indian cuisine but also a warm and personalised touch. Seema shows other restaurants how 5* service should be done!

Visited for dinner with friends this evening and ordered the “a little bit of everything starter” and the chef’s selection Thali platter. The food was excellent and the service was good. The chef came to the table to see that we were happy - which we were! Highly recommmended!

An absolutely amazing culinary experience. This is not your ordinary Indian, this is the real deal!! The trio of curries were delicious, service was first class. Dalvee is most definitely the place to try.

Really nice food but would have been better if all the meals had arrived together . Very tasty but lacked quantity . Would return but would be mindful of what will order to make sure left full and satisfied.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants north of London. The food is authentically Indian and perfectly spiced. The menu is thoughtfully put together and we especially appreciated how food from some of the major states were well represented. Chef Seema Dalvee is an amazing woman and we will certainly come again on our next visit to this part of the world!

Another faultless visit to this incredible restaurant. It was very busy with a wedding party upstairs but the staff were amazing and service excellent. We took relatives from Scotland and they loved it. The food is fresh and very tasty. Menu changes every 3 weeks and it’s Seema’s family and traditional recipes, sometimes with a twist. It’s not your average Indian restaurant with your standard menu and ‘gravy’ base. Every dish is individual. I can’t recommend it enough.

Called in with friends and we’re welcomed with open arms and both the owner and manager were extremely helpful and explained the menu throughly. We tried the Thali which was absolutely gorgeous and really filling. I tried the butter chicken, the lamb shaki and another chicken dish. I love the fact that the food comes with a spice bowl so that you can add your own level. The dhal was light and the chapati fresh and tasty!! This is not your typical Indian restaurant but rather a bespoke menu with original and flavoursome dishes. I loved the experience and will definitely return! Thank you Seema!

Fantastic food here. Exceptional quality ingredients, all freshly made. Loved the menu choices, especially the option to have 3 different curries which you tailor to your own taste/heat. Superb & delicious food with great service by all. Go! You won’t regret it.

This has to be the worst place I have ever set foot in The food we was served was disgusting, I tried the fish fingers to start and I got fish fingers from a box and microwaved The poppadoms and chapati again microwaved strange how they where all the same shape and size And what can I say about the main dish ? The most vile food I ever tried to eat When I questioned the owner about what meat I was eating she told me they use all the meat from the chicken . Maybe so but not one of us saw any meat from the breast When the bill arrived I nearly fell off the chair Not only was the food disgusting but they even wanted 5 star prices for no star service DO NOT I SAY AGAIN DO NOT TRY THIS PLACE Looking forward to the owners reply

Says in the title I would go again food was very tasty and a good setting great service. £68 for a couple not the cheapest I’ve been to
