Popped in for cuppa ended up with cake too. They all looked so delicious that my sister in law and I couldn't resist. Everything is fresh and the place always busy. I highly recommend a visit to anyone. The staff are all so friendly.

Excellent cafe, efficient table waiting service, as it was busy, they took our name and gave us a buzzer, had about a 20 min or so wait to get a table. Very friendly and efficient staff, all happy to help you. Restaurant was spotless and tables all clean. Range of food on menu or specials board is extensive, but all cooked to a high standard and all fresh food, of excellent quality. Cakes are to die for, again great range, and plenty of variety on the teas and coffee. Was very busy when we visited, with every table taken and people queuing, but did not find it difficult to have a conversation at our table. Nice shop, with all sorts of local produce stuff in it, good for a wander round. Will be back again, keep doing what you’re doing.

Enjoyed a really lovely lunch at Dalmore, quick service and lovely views, very organised table service and excellent presentation. Only negativity would be that the seats were a bit hard and it was somewhat difficult to hold a conversation due to the noise and close proximity of the other tables, it was indeed very busy and there was a wait time of approximately 20 plus minutes for a table, otherwise it was a lovely cafe area. The shop has some lovely items, typically over priced as these places are, rather disappointing display of greeting cards to choose from and parking was quite an issue due to the inability of people to park with consideration and the place being so busy (was a Thursday visit we had so not the weekend). Otherwise we found the staff to be excellent, friendly and efficient, worth a visit.

The restaurant was extremely noisy. It was full and all the customers were making a terrible din. They were only talking but at a high level, trying to be heard above each other. There was no way I could have stayed inside to eat so I asked staff if we could go outside. It was a much more pleasant amd quiet area to eat that day.

Great find - so much to do! Huge shop, which sells all sorts of quality produce and big brands. Breakfast (served 9:00 - 11:30am), was excellent and great variety of cakes and drinks available. Well worth a visit, even just to meet the friendly chickens and donkeys 🐓

We've eaten in the restaurant several times before and have always enjoyed the 'breakfast' dishes which, as far as we could recall were served throughout the day. We arrived the other day at about 11.45am looking forward to a brunch only to discover that 'breakfast' now finishes at 11.30am so if we wanted to eat a meal we had to choose from a lunch menu. I chose the new Vegetable Flatbread expecting to be served a plain flatbread filled with roasted vegetables and mozzarella (I'm reasonably certain mozzarella was mentioned on the menu). What arrived was something that looked like a small pizza smeared with some kind of tomato sauce and a few small bits of vegetable. It appeared to have been heated in some way that had dried it out and made it tough so it was impossible to cut and I had to resort to picking it up to bite into it. The biggest disappointment was the bits of feta cheese sprinkled over the top - not mozzarella. My apologies if I misread the menu! One thing to point out is that the restaurant is always very noisy at busy times.

We were staying locally and out for a bike ride so needed a good 'café stop' about half around our route. This place was idea! Excellent cakes and coffees and friendly, attentive staff. Sadly we couldn't try all the cakes on display or eat a full lunch but all looked great. There is a large shop attached selling all sorts of craft goods and food. We came back for a second visit and bought locally made cheeses, cakes and honey to take home with us. Not the cheapest place to shop or eat but definitely good quality.

This wasn't our first visit here but we ordered burgers, the service was fine and quick considering the busy time of day. Unfortunately the burgers were cooked long enough for them to solidify, we could hardly cut them let alone eat them. On the way out we asked one of the, rather sullen, staff members to see the management, she asked what the problem was so we told her and she just said "oh, sorry" and walked away. What can you do? we just left and wont be coming back.
