It was nice never been before bit expensive though especially with service charge on top but waiters were polite

Ordered our first takeaway from here. Service was good and it came when they said it would. Food on the whole was good but felt that the samosas were not good value for money and you only 2 small ones and seemed like a shop bought frozen variety and not fresh traditional ones like the picture on their website. Also found the chicken a little dry, otherwise a lovely meal.

We already like this restaurant but we had family guests with us this time. Service is always excellent. Comments from my sisters were that their food was the nicest indian they had ever had. I would agree with this sentiment.

Tasty food with reasonable prices. Waiters were short staffed and ran off their feet a little when I visited but kept up with the large order very well with little to no mistakes. Lovely mood lamp for the table which I particularly enjoyed.

Food was exceptional. Party of 6, spent £40-£50 per head, including drinks and service charges. Air con not workong so very warm in there, they did have a large fan to try and help. Friendly and efficient staff that didn't rush us but gave good service. Would definitely return.

We were attracted to the restaurant even though it is 12 miles from home by the reviews and the discount offer (20%). We were not disappointed the food is wonderful and some dishes we had never seen or tried before despite living in India and having 4 Indian restaurants in our local town (Baldock). Service was good, but in fairness it was not very busy and the choice of wines were good. Overall an excellent experience and we will return. Just check the discount was applied, ours was not on the first bill!!

Simply superb Indian restaurant! Enjoy a lovely evening at Dalchini tonight. Exquisite & lip-smacking Lamb Jhalfrezi, with Naan fluffy as a pillow, accompaniments and sides were also excellent. What makes this place really stand out is the host, and really wonderful atmosphere they've created in the restaurant. Thanks Dalchini!

The food was good, but nothing special. The staff were a little abrupt and the decor and ambience was reminiscent of B&M. Particularly the water feature on the wall that made you feel like you were sitting u Der a toilet cistern. Very average overall.

First time of visiting but it was already my preferred takeaway. Lovely restaurant with great service. Tried the Roshuni Modhu, which was delicious and my very picky nine year old also enjoyed the food, which is high praise indeed. Will definitely be visiting again.

If/When I next decide to have an Indian meal in Shefford I would not hesitate to return! Excellent venue, my son and myself both enjoyed the experience.

Thought we would give them a second chance but worst curry I've ever had from them. Clearly, they can't cope with the amount of takeaway orders even though the restaurant was quiet. From ordering to collecting, including the extra waiting time as my order wasn't ready, was 1 hour and 30 minutes. The food itself was bland and lacked any flavour. The onion bhaji's were simply disgusting and not edible.

Came here for a spontaneous night and the food was amazing and the staff are so nice and helpful and attentive if you are in the area you definitely need to come and give dalcini spice a try I even ended up coming home with a doggy bag xx

The restaurant was pleasant and inviting, however, they did not acknowledge our booking; we did not get the 20% discount advertised; we waited 45 mins to get our meal ( the restaurant was quite quiet at 6:30); and when we did get it, not only did I get the wrong meal, but it was only lukewarm so all in all it was very disappointing. They provided us with £15 off a future meal as compensation for the error. However that means we have to go back again; where hopefully it will not be another bad meal. I was very surprised, as it claims to be not only an award-winning restaurant but also has the National winner for outstanding food and service award. Maybe there was a problem with the regular chef – who knows?

We've just had a delicious meal at Dalchini Spice where we were greeted warmly followed by attentive but not intrusive service. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Went for a family meal service was quick, always a bonus with 2 children. Food was very nice

Food was lovely, however, found out when paying the bill there was a 10% service charge which wasn't anywhere on the menu. If your gonna charge a service charge, it needs to say so somewhere. Indian food isn't the cheapest anyway so having to pay another £10 on top for a service charge is not on!

My family and I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite ordering chicken momo, we received spicy chicken wraps instead. When I inquired about the difference, the waiter confidently claimed it was a unique and different style of chicken momo they do in Bangladesh. Though surprised, I chose not to make a fuss. Later, I discovered the waiter had either lied or was uninformed about the menu. Their online menu also reflect different on their website. This lack of transparency left us feeling scammed, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone due to the dishonesty in their service. I expected a more professional response when addressing a genuine concern. Dismissing my feedback as a "fake review" is disheartening. A simple acknowledgment of mistakes would have sufficed. The lack of accountability reflects poorly on your customer service. (People Check photo for my receipt just to prove its not a fake review) Also let you know i got bigger things to do then write fake reviews on your resturant!!!
