Placed an online order for delivery, 50 min estimated delivery time. After an hour and 10 minutes we called to check on order, we were told the driver is 3 mins away, 15 minute later he turns up, food was barely warm, my mixed grill was swimming in loads of oil and very tough chewy lamb, chicken was ok but bland. Onion raitha was lumpy and bland, korma was bland , lamb curry was ok but not great, that was the second and last time we ever use this restaurant. Definitely not worth their inflated prices.

absolute joke. They random charge you. you need to check bill. don't even bother taking pictures of the menu as that's not the price. so 1 x cobra 1 rice 1 main and a naan costs £35. They always do it and I will defo not go back there and will not recommend ever!! Better not challenge it as they are rude. oh well never again.

they stole my delivery, I ordered and they didn't come when I called for information they said that they couldn't enter the building so their drive had gone back and that if I wanted delivery I had to go I told them I didn't I could come because I didn't have a car, they ended the call

Ordered our first takeaway from here. Service was good and it came when they said it would. Food on the whole was good but felt that the samosas were not good value for money and you only 2 small ones and seemed like a shop bought frozen variety and not fresh traditional ones like the picture on their website. Also found the chicken a little dry, otherwise a lovely meal.

Tasty food with reasonable prices. Waiters were short staffed and ran off their feet a little when I visited but kept up with the large order very well with little to no mistakes. Lovely mood lamp for the table which I particularly enjoyed.

Food was exceptional. Party of 6, spent £40-£50 per head, including drinks and service charges. Air con not workong so very warm in there, they did have a large fan to try and help. Friendly and efficient staff that didn't rush us but gave good service. Would definitely return.

Food was ok not fresh poppadoms brought out wrong rice twice but no dramas but don't like service charge on bill the food in this country is expensive enough without adding that on to bill this is England not America where there food is cheaper and waiters should be paid a wage in this country

We were attracted to the restaurant even though it is 12 miles from home by the reviews and the discount offer (20%). We were not disappointed the food is wonderful and some dishes we had never seen or tried before despite living in India and having 4 Indian restaurants in our local town (Baldock). Service was good, but in fairness it was not very busy and the choice of wines were good. Overall an excellent experience and we will return. Just check the discount was applied, ours was not on the first bill!!

Simply superb Indian restaurant! Enjoy a lovely evening at Dalchini tonight. Exquisite & lip-smacking Lamb Jhalfrezi, with Naan fluffy as a pillow, accompaniments and sides were also excellent. What makes this place really stand out is the host, and really wonderful atmosphere they've created in the restaurant. Thanks Dalchini!

The food was good, but nothing special. The staff were a little abrupt and the decor and ambience was reminiscent of B&M. Particularly the water feature on the wall that made you feel like you were sitting u Der a toilet cistern. Very average overall.

First time of visiting but it was already my preferred takeaway. Lovely restaurant with great service. Tried the Roshuni Modhu, which was delicious and my very picky nine year old also enjoyed the food, which is high praise indeed. Will definitely be visiting again.

If/When I next decide to have an Indian meal in Shefford I would not hesitate to return! Excellent venue, my son and myself both enjoyed the experience.
