Chose this place for our work meal out after hearing such good reviews. I wasn’t disapointed, the curry was lovely, I had Garlic Rice, Chicken Dhansak and Chilli and Garlic Naan. We will be returning ☺️

Thought we would try here as it’s local Driver short changed me Food is bland and low quality I’ve had better curry’s from frozen microwave meals

Without a doubt be best Indian restaurant in the area, me and my parent have been several times now and we have never had a bad experience. I always opt for the dhansak and it’s always spot on. My partner has had numerous dishes and has loved them all especially the tandoori chicken. Thanks again guys

I’m not normally one for doing reviews, but I thought in this case I would, as I wouldn’t want people to be disappointed like I was. I absolutely love a curry, but I’ve got to say this is right down in my rankings. I’ve only recently moved to the area so I read the reviews first and they were mostly positive, but I’ve got to agree with the last one which was 1 star. The quality of the meat is not what I expected from a nice curry house. I had lamb but it didn’t taste of anything and had zero texture. Almost like it had been cooked for too long. If you had put it in front of me without saying, I would not have known it was lamb. Won’t be quite as harsh though as the naan was nice and the guys in there seemed like top blokes. Just the food isn’t up to scratch for me. I’ll try the other one round the corner next time.

My family ate here for my birthday meal and it was a real let down. There were six of us and we love indian food and eat at many local restaurants. This was the worst we've had in years. The food came out looking radio active the quality of the chicken and the lamb was terrible. Me and my wife were embarrassed as we had booked the restaurant. We barely touched any of the food and had a £180 bill to pay. We went for a drink after over the road at the White Hart pub and heard a rumour that the cook had changed. We've had good curries and average curries before and this was just garbage. I don't leave bad reviews... but this was extremely disappointing. There's no hard feelings towards the waiters they were great but generally would of been better off with a tescos microwave meal.

This was me and my family first time dining in this restaurant. When we entered, there was a lot of customers which I can see that people seem to like this restaurant. We didn't need to wait a long time to get started ordering as as soon as we entered, a waiter served us. Friendly staff. We got our food between 5-10minutes of each course. Food was amazing, the chips was very yummy 😋, chicken tikka biryani being a little too spicy 😅 and the Shisla (I don't know the exact name) but it was not very appetising as its meant to be sizzling but they were lazy with it and just added plain tomatoes and others on the plate. Wasn't very happy with that. But otherwise, amazing place. Recommended 👍

I first visited this place in the '90s and this restaurant was always outstanding. I had the pleasure of dining again last night with a group of friends, but I must say I didn't think the quality or taste experience was as good as in previous times.

Went with friends so first time to this restaurant where we went for the Sunday fixed price Sunday Buffet. Confusion seemed to be the order of the day, as we just sat there like lemons while the staff seemed to ignore us in an empty restaurant. We asked for popadoms, which was an extra charge that came with a delicious array of dips but only after a long wait. The main help yourself buffet had what I consider to be a small selection of dishes but then I am not keen on Chicken Korma or Chicken Tikka Masala, which reduced to choice. Cheap chicken wings were there plus a lamb dish. There was a selection of vegetable dishes that padded the meal out. Conclusion. Well I wouldn’t go back. The meal including a drink cost £20 per person and seemed a little light on choice. What was there was tasty but the chicken wings lacked meat while there was no chicken tikka.

Waiters have exceptional customer sevice and there is amazing food, 10/10 would recommend. It had a great atmosphere .

Food was perfectly fine but it's categorically not one of the 'Top 5 Indian Restaurants in the UK' as they claim on the front of their menu. There are better Curry Houses in nearby towns let alone the rest of the UK.

Very few restaurants get 5 stars for service, atmosphere, quality of food and value for money, but Shefford Tandoori achieved it for all four. A fantastic dinning experience and one I’ll be recommending to anyone who will listen. Thank you very much for making us feel special . We look forward to our next visit.

Have lived in Shefford for a number of years, but this was the first time we've eaten here. Food and service were excellent although we did feel a bit harried to order, eat and free up the table (we were only there for 45 mins!!). However, I would definitely go again and definitely recommend

Absolutely amazing dinner with friends, did not book and came in with a group of 7 friends. The butter chicken is spectacular, perfect to dip the garlic naan into it.

Driving through and our granddaughter spotted this, was absolutely excellent and they fully understood gluten free. Delicious food, lovely presentation, friendly and helpful staff. Glad we got a table, was full when we left.

Outstanding restaurant both eating in and taking away. Have been a customer since early 2000's, service has never been bad in two decades. Excellent food, courteous and attentive staff.

This will be the fourth visit this year, having regularly eaten here for over 30 years, the standards maintained have been excellent, the food and service is usually outstanding and this time was no different. Have tried much on the menu (all of which has been top quality) and nowadays settle on a king prawn balti with naan bread washed down with a Cobra. A restaurant maintaining this level of food and service for decades is extraordinary, long may it continue.

Took some of group here food was delicious, staff polite and friendly. Only one fault they had trouble working out our bill as individuals which was relatively easy.

In 2019 brought a group of 20 for Sunday evening and they were excellent hosts! We look forward to visiting them the next time we're in the area. We came back again today, 10 September 23, and it's just as good as it's ever been. I even traveled all over London and can't find anything close to their quality.

The Food is alright when ordered from the menu. Do NOT recommended the buffet option although it sounds cheap the options are not that good and the there is a good difference between the same dish from the menu and the buffet. All in All, Decent Restaurant and Could go once.
