Dada Cafe in Redbridge

Loved Dada, Epping since it first opened. Today popped into Chingford and it was so disappointing. Music was loud, service was disappointing and slow. £43 for 2 x pancakes, a sandwich, 2 x tea and a smoothie. Realised after that they’ve started adding a 10% service charge. Definitely not the Cafe Dada we knew and loved.

Rude staff. Won’t be returning. Im not one to complain at all. But the lady serving the coffee today was so rude

Dada Staff in Tesco express buying bags of salad, cheap ham etc for their supply… give me strength?!!? What on earth is the point of this coffee shop? Which still over extracts the coffee and so the results are burnt ! Seems to never have the Romanian owners ever there for past year now and so we just go elsewhere like Tipi for real coffee tastes.

Was greeted by rude staff who ended up getting my order wrong. The two staff then started speaking about me in a foreign language so I told them I was going to give them a bad review at which point my server started being polite and apologetic. Finally tried the coffee and it was bitter sour and undrinkable. Threw them away a few sips in. Also £3.50 for a medium coffee which was the size of a small glass is a rip off when it tastes this bad

This coffee shop Is busy because of location and the staff are buying products from Tesco and carving at outrageous prices to desperate locals.... kind of a scam if your in the eatery trade and know what to look for!

I have witnessed the staff this weekend again buying all the produce at Tesco express next door, especially bread and meats, that is the laziest approach to creating food and charging high prices.... no wonder it’s not great tasting!

Love love love Dada! It is definitely in my top 3 independent coffee shops in the local area. The coffee is absolutely insane and if you drink in, everything is beautifully presented - they sprinkle raspberries and chocolate powder on top of the cappuccinos! The chai lattes are also gorgeous. The food options are a little limited, but there is something for everyone and they're more than happy to alter dishes on request.

Very nice weekday lunch here. We very much enjoyed both our pancakes and sourdough toasties. Also very nice coffee and a beautifully presented hot chocolate with dried raspberries. We'd been meaning to try here for a while and were very pleased we did.

Normally this place has nice food and good service Today I popped in there and was told we shut in 10 mins! Ok that’s fair enough but do you have any take away sandwiches? Sandwiches?? No we shut in 10 mins with a little sarcastic laugh!! Seriously rude woman. Didn’t get her name but has fizzy Bob and bad attitude

Really really slow service especially for just takeaway which is strange ... seems the staff aren’t particularly well trained baristas... the coffee was disappointing and had a bitter taste unfortunately. It’s such a shame there aren’t more artisan coffee shops around... Tipi still seems the best by far.

I ordered an oat milk flat with breakfast. I asked the server to repeat the order a d made sure I asked to make sure it was oat milk. After taking a large mouthful of the coffee, it was clear this was regular milk. The server apologised but I went to pay and left. The sad thing was that I was asked if I had drunk the coffee. I said not after I realised it was cows milk and was told I would not be charged for the coffee. I paid for my toast and a little dismayed they took the £5 from me.. I use this cafe quite a lot and it’s a worry

I’ve been here a couple of times for coffee, lunch, and brunch - and every visit the food and coffee has been great! The staff are very friendly and attentive. Also, during lockdown they’ve adopted good hygiene measures, making it more comfortable and giving us confidence. The food is always well presented and of high quality. I’d highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a lunch/brunch/coffee& cake spot! Thank you Dada Café & staff!

I love this coffee shop. I am a coffee lover and i can tell you, that coffee is something else, i am addicted to it 😄. Very good food and excellent service.

Passed by this morning and shocked to see it open and serving customers , in light of the PM explicit instructions to close cafes.

The most amazing hidden secret! A real hidden gem! Fantastic breakfast fantastic lunch fantastic coffee amazing service amazing atmosphere, they couldn’t be nicer or more helpful, even allowing my little doggies to come in! Cosy winters spent indoors and summer alfresco eating outdoors! Love this place, it’s not on my doorstep but absolutely worth a trip!

Small cafe but they serve great panini and amazing coffee . A great place to meet friends who have differing food preferences

A teabag and a small slice of cake for £6.50... the owners have literally lost their senses attempting to charge locals at these prices.... come on guys look at your competition! I would say it was much better overall when they first opened. Disappointing.
