Rustic motel near downtown. Service was great, room clean and everything worked in the room. WiFi is fast and works without cutting out. Walls are somewhat thin, and the AC is centrally controlled. Bed wasn't the most comfortable either. Ample parking and there is a restaurant within walking distance.

My husband and I were just looking for a place to crash on our way home from Colorado! We loved that a local family owned the hotel and the lady who answered the phone was very nice but….. The hotel does not look like the pictures provided on both the outside or inside. This place is run down , stains on the chair in our room, the mattress was worn out, soft and lumpy. The towels were dry rotted , the inside of the microwave had not been cleaned in years and there were no cups for the coffee you make for yourself. It makes sense for hunters to stay here but a big no to anyone else. This place has potential but is just so worn out and run down.

It is a very dirty place, very bad service from the reception, we found a lot of garbage and containers with urine under the bed. I definitely do not recommend it even for one night.

There is no room service, they do not take out trash, they do not change towels.....no customer service

Came here as I'd heard the food was good and they have a good offer. Yes the main course was a good price, but when you factor in starters, garlic breads, desserts and wine it all evens out and your bill is still what it is. The interior is a little looking but it's the food that counts. My risotto was really good - I'd come back just to have this again!! Our desserts were chocolate fudge cake served with very poor quality custard (I couldn't eat it, plus it was so gloopy it was stuck in the jug) and cheap ice cream. The cake was standard costco type cake, so they couldve given us a bigger slice considering it was £6 or so. We asked for the cake to be warm but was one was cold the other very very slightly warmed like it had only had 10 seconds in the microwave. Service is reasonably friendly very casual e.g. waiter in jeans, waitress in leggings and trainers.

This historical mansion sized hotel was a surprise to say the least. From the rooms to the customer service I enjoyed it all. They eve had little fans by the bed side which was super cool. They had cable as well. I stayed in room 4 which has a wonderful painting by the window truly astonishing work. It is an older house though its set up like a hotel with the doors in hallways not like a motel where doors face outside. Would stay again if I had to. Not much food around that town though. Hotel was 10/10.

Excellent meal here while staying next door at the motel. We were welcomed with our puppy, which was nice. Had a garlic bread to start which was huge, one was enough for two people really. Tagliatelle with chicken was tasty, and husband had rigatoni with spicy sausage. Really impressed with the quality of food, and great value for money. Was a shame we had to depart so soon, restless puppy. Highly recommend. Not too busy, was not rushed. Nice relaxing atmosphere Staff were nice n friendly , gave our dog some water..Thankyou.

Yesterday Da Vinci hosted my little boys christening and we had the best time! The staff were incredible and the food was delicious - everyone commented on how amazing it tasted. Thanks so much to Paolo for being so attentive and lovely! Can’t wait to return x

This restaurant is by far the best in the Chorley area for food and service. I cannot understand why it is not packed out by customers, other than it is off the beaten track. Get a taxi, you will find it is well worth it!!! The food is outstanding and tonight they even had a fantastic singer entertaining. The host is amazing and goes over and above for the customers. Well done Davinchi, best Valentines meal I've had for years! I have to say that it is far better than any other Italian restaurant in the area!!!

We are staying at the motel at the side of the restaurant and decided to have a meal. My husband had rump steak with veg and chips. I had a vegetarian risotto. The portions were a good size. The food was tasty and hot. We can recommend.

We have dined here many times at this lovely friendly restaurant and it never fails to please, likewise with the many regular people we have go to to know while we have dined here at DaVinci, they share the same feelings. If they did not enjoy anything at DaVinci they certainly would not keep coming back!

We have been several times to Da Vinci over the years and never had a bad experience and never once a bad meal. All we can say is everyone appears to be working as a team with happy smiling faces always. The staff are accommodating and courteous, nothing is ever too much. Food is always great and authentic Italian food, cooked by a true Italian chef…what more can you say and expect. Always a fantastic experience in Da Vinci and hand on heart, the only authentic Italian restaurant in the North West for sure!!

We have stayed next door at Hunters Lodge and really like it, friendly and comfortable. This time we went to Da Vinci next door. The only question is, why did we leave it so long? All the staff, especially Shaunie (Not sure of the spelling) were lovely. What a find, pizza was thin and very crispy. Linguine with seafood - brilliant. They should be proud of this hidden gem, it is 5*. Even the prices are great. We will definitely return to Hunters Lodge, because we like it, but next time it is Da Vinci as an absolute first choice!!!

I’ve visited this restaurant with my girlfriend twice now and I’m amazed it isn’t packed every night. I can only think the restaurants former use is putting people off The food quality is excellent, adequate portion sizes and friendly staff My partner raves about this place and I’m seeing why it is very good It’s nice to see an owner chef who cares and checks on his guests Prices are exceptionally good at around £20ph for a drink, shared starter and main course each. Both of our visits have been after work at around 7:30pm. Don’t let the restaurant being quiet, put you off as it really is very impressive service

This restaurant is next door to the Hunters Lodge Motel (reviewed separately) and previous reviews of this restaurant were a key factor in deciding to stay there. We were not disappointed. Lovely steak and sea bass, large portions and a good glass of wine.

Good enough for what we needed. Nice staff. Not a place for a weekend getaway, but good to rest overnight.

Nice rooms and nice people but not handicap accessible. No bathtubs just showers, step to get to bed, and refused my service dog due to central heat and air. Definitely recommend if you don't have any disabilities. Don't go if you are disabled. Wanted an extra $20 for a handicap accessible room that would allow my service dog. One more thing. If you are hard of hearing, everyone in the place will hear your TV. Excellent motel but due to the handicap accessibility I rate a 2.

Pam was very nice and easygoing! Great price for a clean room, cable t.v. free coffee in the morning. Great water pressure in the shower. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Screened windows so we were able to open the window and let cool. fresh air in and listen to the birds. What a pleasant way to wake up! This is not your typical hotel. This is much better.
