Very sad experience. We live around the corner and enjoy the pizza from here. When we came this evening, the restaurant was empty, there were no reservation signs, and no one was around except the chef who I greeted warmly. We sat down at a table and when the waitress came over, she immediately reprimanded us for sitting down without permission in a hostile way. We were told that the restaurant would be fully booked in 30 minutes. I asked if they would like us to leave and we were told it was not a problem to stay. After the meal I asked to speak with the owner to feedback about the experience. She came over already looking for a fight and said she was very busy. I explained to her that we were upset about how we were greeted. She dismissed my gently made points that there are nicer ways to explain they are fully booked, that there wasn’t anyone to greet us on arrival, and that even at the end of our 40-minute meal, the restaurant was still empty except for a group who had also not made a reservation. She ran away from the conversation explaining she was too busy. We would suggest some reserved signs, a gentler way of greeting diners, and a more open attitude to feedback in the future, but we won’t be coming back sadly.

We've been really spoilt in the Ealing area for great pizzerias in the last 10 years, with the emergence of Santa Maria and L'oro Di Napoli, two other traditional neopolitan pizza restaurants that have been reviewed as 'the best in London' and which I live slightly closer to. But I drive a little further to visit Da Moreno instead, which for me has come along and trumped the other two in both quality and value. It's also very close to Northfields station so easy to get to, and you can eat in or take away. Ingredients are top quality, cooked to perfection, and the size is good too (it only just squeezes into the pizza box!). In fact it's fair to say this is the best pizza I've ever had - I couldn't even find better on my trip to Italy last year!

Seriously. We’ve been getting pizzas from here almost weekly for a good few years and it is just perfect. There are no frills, because they don’t need any, they know exactly what they’re doing - turning out very very good wood-fired, genuinely Neopolitan style pizza.

We are regular customers here as the pizza here is probably the best in London. We have sat in and taken away and both have always been spot on.

As a local resident, visited then and also ordered teakways many time in the past, never complained about the quality, pizza was rather on a good side. However, deeply disappointed on so called "policy" for dining in. We were turned away as the lady on the counter insisted that we need to order one pizza per person to sit in an empty place (only one table was taken by the other customers at this time). As my wife and I were with our little daughter, we wanted to get 2 pizzas to share on three of us, but she declined. So, we thanked for the service and moved few doors down to Sikulo, which is always welcoming!

We have become regulars. I make pizza on a pizza stone at home, Da Morena’s is better. In fact, Da Morena’s is the best pizza you can get. Truly. Highly recommended and we are lucky to have it 5 minutes away. The quality of the ingredients sets it apart. Wonderful prosciutto, delicious salame piccante, tomato sauce is top, pizza base is the perfect mix of crunch with a bit of chew.

I was expecting a proper Neapolitan sourdogh pizza but I was really disappointed. I asked for a take away Margherita topped with Napoli salami but once I reached home and opened the box there was pepperoni on it. Maybe they did not expect a non-Italian to ask for that kind of pizza, however I ate it anyway but it was uncooked, burned underneath, not typical crust, tomato sauce with very poor quality, literally how can you go to thjs pizza place while having such good pizzerias all around such Santa Maria and L’oro di Napoli. Highly recommend to order pizza from them instead rather than waste your money into this. Staff was unpleasant. Move away from here

We used to take away our pizzas from Moreno before he recently renovated the place, as it is the closest pizzeria from us and one of the best in London. When we went there a few days ago to eat our first pizza on site, after he managed to reorganise the restaurant with some tables and a beautiful look, I got impressed: his pizza is now even better than before, if that was possible! This is all merit to the new oven, which comes directly from Naples and (as he told us) has been quite a challenge to deliver (it’s 3 tons of stuff which can only be split in two single pieces!). Moreno is a very friendly guy and the team is great! A real pleasure to be there! Highly recommended, not only for locals, I’d go there from the other side of London if I had to!

Yummy pizzas, every one we've tried. Spoiled for choice, so many great pizzerias nearby but this has got to be my favourite. Order a few times a month- a hit in our family !

Best pizza I've had outside of Italy, simple great quality ingredients and tastes super fresh. A fantastic addition to Northfields avenue although from time to time I do miss The Hungry One which used to occupy this site.

A friend recommended this to us. I am eternally grateful. After years of waiting for a decent pizza restaurant in Hammersmith we eventually got one. Two years later my son and I stumbled across this place. We now make the 25 minute journey to eat here rather than the three minute walk to our local pizzeria. Pizzas are just brilliant. We've always been lucky as we've managed to snag one of the (only) three tables inside, though there are seats out the front. Great food, very reasonable prices. The fact it's so small is the only downside, however it means you get to see your pizza being made and cooked. The proprietors are both welcoming and friendly. Love this place!

Moreno's pizza is the best I ever had . So tasty, and the environment is lovely. Definitely I would recommend to go there .

The pizzas are spectacular. This is a real Italian style restaurant in terms of food, service and environment. Simply lovely!
