Da Leo Italian Restaurant & Pizza in Doncaster

Italian restaurant in the centre of Doncaster. After 6pm you can park for 1£ for the evening/ night at 2 minutes walk distance from the restaurant. Very wel trained staff running the restaurant, polite and funny. Red house wine is combining good with the beef. The beef is nicely presented in the restaurant. The main menu is chicken , fresh fish and beef. The vegetables or chips you have to choose…. It is more potatoes then vegetables if you go for “vegetables” that was the only minor point. I will be back🤩👊🏻

I haven’t reviewed a restaurant for a while . Myself and my partner had pizza Capricciosa …impossible to describe in words the taste of it⭐️. Staffs were very nice and friendly. We will be back soon 💫

It was a first for me visited Da Leo Restaurant on my Birthday great atmosphere, Exelent service and staff, amazing food.

So good I had to review. We visited on Christmas Eve and couldn’t have had a better time. Old school warm and attentive service and high quality, delicious food. My Mum is a vegan and struggles to find places to eat in Donny, but the chef and team were so accommodating and she really enjoyed her meal too. Will definitely be visiting again soon!

Couldn’t remember this place enough! Been twice and sultan is honestly the best so welcoming and lovely always making sure everything’s ok and always paying attention and checking up and he’s very welcoming and he always makes sure he says goodbye before you leave the service is fantastic highly recommend

I'm addicted to their pizza. You can shove your Domino's or Pizza Hut, they're all rubbish. You want proper dough? Come here. I could just sit and eat the cheesy garlic bread all day.

I don't normally review places however the staff went above and beyond tierd and hungry children (6&4) after sitting in the car for 5+ hours the waitress was really friendly and helpful the manager was lovely and giving the girls high 5s which they loved and liked our spirits the food was amazing and the portions were great size and incredible value for money well worth the visit

So I really can't give something like that to my children to eat, I still don't understand putting it on top so that it can be seen that it is burnt, all the pasta tastes burnt, marking ready in 10 minutes... I was a bit like that when they said 10 minutes but now I understand dc ..

We visited as down to stay at the Yorkshire wildlife park last Saturday. The food was amazing the service was outstanding. Best meal I've had out for a while, didn't disappoint and if I'm ever down this area again I'd 100% visited again.

I haven’t reviewed a restaurant for a while but Da Leo definitely merits my time for a quick review. I wanted something simple and relatively fast to eat. I was pleasantly surprised that not only did this restaurant manage both of these expectations but that the food as was excellent and the customer service very good. I only had a simple bolognaise but the pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was amazingly tasty. If you get the chance to pop in for a bite to eat you won’t be disappointed and the prices are very reasonable making the whole experience very worth while. I will be back !!

The first time in Doncaster, I had such a good dinner. The steak was amazing, and the meat melted in my mouth. The garlic bread was just like in a restaurant in Italy. The staff was very kind and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. This place has definitely made it onto my list of the best restaurants. I highly recommend Da Leo.

Found this place as highly rated on Google and TripAdvisor and I was not disappointed. From entry to leaving the service was exceptional, we were recommended a few dishes and I decided to go with the fillet steak for main, prawns for starter and the pistachio tiramisu for dessert. Accompanied by some peroni. Everything was fantastic so inowukd highly recommend this restaurant to others.

I booked da Leo as a surprise for my wife for our 5th wedding anniversary.. its the first time we have eaten here and it won't be our last.. from start to finish we felt welcome the staff couldn't do enough for you and they were amazing with our little daughter too.. the location was good the food was perfect and the restaurant is nice with an authentic look I would score this restaurant a solid 11 out of 10 and would have it up there as one of the best of not the actual best italian restaurant we've ever been to on English soil I would highly recommend this to folk and can guarantee that we will definitely be returning lovely place lovely people 🙌😀

The waiter asked us to put in a 5 star review, but I promise you that I wouldn't, unless I meant it. The staff is sweet, funny and accommodating. They have glutenfree pasta and a great ambience. Love it here! Very yummy food.

Ok here we go. I'm a Doncaster resident always looking for a good Italian restaurant in the area. My wife and I had our meal between 19.30 & 20.30 on a Saturday evening 20/07/2024. I took the plunge on booking a table based on reviews not word of mouth. We came away very pleased with the service and the food was as good as we've had locally. My wife had a lamb linguine and I had an off the menu seafood linguine. Both were outstanding. The price points were comparable with other restaurants. Ps the tiramisu was delightful. Yep I'll be going again.

The quality of the food has noticeably declined; the flavors are different, and it seems they've switched to cheaper ingredients. Given the prices, it's disappointing. I've decided not to order from them again.

Amazing food and service every time. We always bring our friends and family here when they visit as we love the authentic food and relaxed atmosphere. We've never had a bad meal here, and the food always feels a bit special. Would highly recommend!!

Fabulous evening with a fabulous family in a beautiful restaurant. Every bit of the food was delicious! It was a feast for all. Had the seafood linguine, and it was 👌best I have ever eaten. As a table of 10, we had a mixture of mains, and each of them were banging. T-Bone steak and sirloin were cooked to perfection, all pasta dishes were beautiful, the mixed grill was massive, and served on top of big garlic flat bread. Calzones were massive and delicious, and the lamb shanks were melt in your mouth yummy. The deserts were out of this world. My husband had a special Pistachio parfait mouse with a melted chocolate side which the manager advised was a traditional Italian desert, he was advised to pour the melted chocolate over the top and said it was just wow and defo up there as one of the best deserts he has ever eaten. Pear cheese cake was delicious 10/10! Leo, the head chef and owner of the restaurant, was about all night speaking with customers and making everyone feel welcome, which was really nice. We had a lovely night and will most definitely be returning.
