Hands down best onion bhajis, and trust me I’ve tasted them all!!!! Quality dip selection (and quantity) for the poppadums. 10s across the board for the mains. Sensational work.

This is my favourite restaurant, amazing food and lovely staff. The chicken madras is the best, great flavours and spices.

Was an absolute delight eating here. The food was fresh, and utterly delicious. The type of food where you can taste the honest and skilful cooking. And with a beer each only came to £30 a head which was excellent value for money. Amen for white table cloths! And linen napkins! And warmed plates! And lovely staff! The service was outstanding - special mention to Zak and his colleague (didn’t get his name) - attentive and friendly with attention to detail. The atmosphere was lovely, great music - enjoyable but not distracting, and warm lighting that flatters the diners and dinners alike. Would 10/10 recommend. Dal makani, brindi bhaji and tandoori paneer madras, peshwari naan - get all of them! … Especially the aubergine.

My absolute favourite local curry house! The food is consistently delicious, there’s a great variety of dishes for both veggies and meat eaters alike, and the service is extremely friendly and attentive, yet relaxed. It’s really popular among locals and price has remained reasonable. Special shout out goes to the onion bhajis, mint sauce and chana masala. But really, I’ve never had a dish here that isn’t delicious. Highly recommend!

Perfect local indian takeaway. Good value with generous portions. Doesn’t try to be anything it’s not, just nails the classics. Will be back several times I assume.

Sensational sit-in Indian here. The service was impeccable; welcoming and enthusiastic. The Naga curry is unbelievably good and we thoroughly enjoyed the tikka masala, peshwari naan and mushroom room. All round a great experience. Even a nice bathroom!

I love Indian food, even the standard high street fare provided by this, my local, curry house. I am therefore easy to please, but the service, the food, and the ambience here are all good, and the prices are reasonable. My only criticism is that there is no mushroom dish such as a Mushroom Bhaji on the menu. Despite this, the restaurant is justifiably recommended.

Honestly one of the best curries I’ve ever had, and I love curry. If you’re thinking about ordering please please do, you won’t look back!!

OMG!! This was the BEST Indian food I’ve ever had! We started with the veggie samosas and the mixed special grill - the lamb chops were to die for! They were so good, I had to order more. For a main, we shared the chefs special curry, and it was literally the best curry and naan I’ve ever experienced. Mo’s service was also amazing, I can’t wait for my next trip across the pond from Texas to have more yummy Indian food from Curry Paradise Brixton!!!

Absolute neighbourhood gem. There’s a reason it’s been here for decades. The food is consistently great, both in the restaurant and take away, and the service is friendly and fast. Bonus points for great tunes and an After Eight with the bill to sweeten the deal. Couldn’t ask for better.

The food here is quality and so so tasty! I order the chicken makhani each and every time with added spice and it is just unreal! (Though I do need to be a little more adventurous next time!). Would recommend the dansak, special fried rice, chicken tikka masala and the samosas. The owner Zak is so welcoming and a great host.

My husband and I go to restaurant for an excellent Indian meal. The boss and his staff are extremely friendly and provide a great service, with always a warm welcome. Restaurant has a lovely comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Suitable for a casual ‘treat yourself meal’, or a special occasion. Cheers guys! Gabbi and Phil.

Went there to dine because the some reviews say that it is good and sometimes I see the place packed but to be honest I was disappointed. Food was good but the service was cringy. My friend and I were sat next to a party do with over 15 customers so it was really noisy and crowded. Obviously the group were there first and there were being served went we arrived but while we were sat I looked at one of the waiters (and I was not necessarily asking him to come serve us) and he said “Not now”. Whether it was out of cheekiness or playfulness it sounded really off and unprofessional. My friend and I got a bit put off and we wanted to leave to be honest but we acted mature and just got on with it unlike the other table were I saw another couple leave after 10 minutes when I think they even came after us. It was an experience but definitely not going to ever come back to such place and also they only accept cash??? Really??? So backwards😂😂😂. Anyway that’s it. Food average and service ugh. Definitely would not go back ever again😂😅 19/03/2024 Hello just replying to your response. I stand to what I saw. Two guys one Asian and White sat after us and they left 10 mins later. Not even a drink was served and definitely food unless they just wanted to use your chairs like park benches for a quick rest. Anyway, I am never coming back anyway so I won’t be gaslighted by your patronising and sarcastic response to my review.

Best curry I had in London. Period. Onion Bhaji always hits different.

I did not expect Haryali prawns to be made with bright green food colouring, but they were delicious. Xacuti was full of flavour, and the lemon rice zesty but mild - would work incredibly well with spicy dishes. Their peshwari naan is the best in town. Curry Paradise served delicious food some 15 years ago when I first when I first dined there, and over the years never disappointed on flavour, preparation, or ingredient quality.

Will not be ordering from here again, which is a shame as I had high hopes considering the number of reviews and rating. The Rogan was overwhelmed by onion and butter paneer sauce was almost like a set custard. Overall the flavour was disappointing too.

I’ve never left a review before but feel I must! Order from here regularly and it’s absolute perfection EVERY time! Every dish is the best I’ve tried in London (and I’ve tried a few). Always arrives hot, well packaged, great portions, great meat/sauce ratio on the curries and fantastic flavour. Looking forward to visiting in person on our next date night.

Always reliable with a good range of meat and vege dishes. I don't eat meat but this time one of our house did and she was impressed by the lamb chops. The Sag paneer is especially good.

My family and I have frequented this restaurant for the last 23 years however, the new owner is absolutely appalling. We called to make a telephone order and were placed on hold for a lengthy period of time. When we were finally answered, he was so rude and obnoxious instead of listening to our order decided to shout at us and hang up because he didn’t like us stating that we had waited too long. We will NEVER eat from here again and we are so disappointed at it used to be such a wonderful, community friendly venue. Appalling.

After reading so many positive reviews we wanted to try. Unfortunately the curries (chicken tikka masala and chicken butter makhani) were too sweet to be really tasty. I’ve never had a sweet curry before and it was very odd. Three stars because the onion bhaji were the best I’ve ever had and the veg samosas were extremely good, spicy and well flavored. The mango chutney and mint sauce was also delicious. We loved all our starters and then were let down by the mains.
