The food here is quality and so so tasty! I order the chicken makhani each and every time with added spice and it is just unreal! (Though I do need to be a little more adventurous next time!). Would recommend the dansak, special fried rice, chicken tikka masala and the samosas. The owner Zak is so welcoming and a great host.

My husband and I go to restaurant for an excellent Indian meal. The boss and his staff are extremely friendly and provide a great service, with always a warm welcome. Restaurant has a lovely comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Suitable for a casual ‘treat yourself meal’, or a special occasion. Cheers guys! Gabbi and Phil.

Went there to dine because the some reviews say that it is good and sometimes I see the place packed but to be honest I was disappointed. Food was good but the service was cringy. My friend and I were sat next to a party do with over 15 customers so it was really noisy and crowded. Obviously the group were there first and there were being served went we arrived but while we were sat I looked at one of the waiters (and I was not necessarily asking him to come serve us) and he said “Not now”. Whether it was out of cheekiness or playfulness it sounded really off and unprofessional. My friend and I got a bit put off and we wanted to leave to be honest but we acted mature and just got on with it unlike the other table were I saw another couple leave after 10 minutes when I think they even came after us. It was an experience but definitely not going to ever come back to such place and also they only accept cash??? Really??? So backwards😂😂😂. Anyway that’s it. Food average and service ugh. Definitely would not go back ever again😂😅 19/03/2024 Hello just replying to your response. I stand to what I saw. Two guys one Asian and White sat after us and they left 10 mins later. Not even a drink was served and definitely food unless they just wanted to use your chairs like park benches for a quick rest. Anyway, I am never coming back anyway so I won’t be gaslighted by your patronising and sarcastic response to my review.

Unbelievably Indian. First order after reading other reviews and blown away. Delicious flavoursome chicken curry. Tasty rice and popadoms cooked in clean oil. Highly recommended and looking forward to our next order.

Great atmosphere and the team were very welcoming despite being fully booked. The Lamb Chops were by far one of the best I’ve had and definitely ask for an Irish coffee after.

Ordered a takeaway with these guys recently. Very very sweet curries! Far too much sugar in both the korma and tikka masala. A shame as we were looking forward after good reviews. Won’t be back.

I’ve never left a review before but feel I must! Order from here regularly and it’s absolute perfection EVERY time! Every dish is the best I’ve tried in London (and I’ve tried a few). Always arrives hot, well packaged, great portions, great meat/sauce ratio on the curries and fantastic flavour. Looking forward to visiting in person on our next date night.

Lovely food, went on a whim whilst visiting a friend. Place was busier that I thought it would be on a Sunday but lovely atmosphere and all staff were friendly. Good portion sizes and enough to take away in a doggy bag! Would recommend!

A great restaurant, they cook very tasty food.

My family and I have frequented this restaurant for the last 23 years however, the new owner is absolutely appalling. We called to make a telephone order and were placed on hold for a lengthy period of time. When we were finally answered, he was so rude and obnoxious instead of listening to our order decided to shout at us and hang up because he didn’t like us stating that we had waited too long. We will NEVER eat from here again and we are so disappointed at it used to be such a wonderful, community friendly venue. Appalling.

After reading so many positive reviews we wanted to try. Unfortunately the curries (chicken tikka masala and chicken butter makhani) were too sweet to be really tasty. I’ve never had a sweet curry before and it was very odd. Three stars because the onion bhaji were the best I’ve ever had and the veg samosas were extremely good, spicy and well flavored. The mango chutney and mint sauce was also delicious. We loved all our starters and then were let down by the mains.

food is good however the prices on the menu outside is cheaper than the menu they provide you inside.

Food is very good here, but prices on menu inside are roughly £1 higher than on the menu posted outside which was a little disappointing at a time most people are struggling for money.

This was the first time I had visited this restaurant. My friend has been many times before. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. It's not expensive, well worth the money. I would definitely go there again.

The food was very mediocre and the service was horrible. We waited 25 minutes after ordering for a simple glass of water (had to ask three time). Save your money go visit the chippy next door.

Had the most lovely meal at Curry Paradise this evening. The curry we have had along with the previous three takeaway curries we have ordered from here, have been the best curries my partner and I have eaten from an Indian restaurant in years. The food comes in such generous portions and the flavours and attention given to all the food is impeccable. The veg platter they kindly made to suit 3 of us when it is a two person dish, and the friendliness of the staff did not go unnoticed. How lucky we are to have this as our local Indian takeaway and restaurant!

I let it slide when I sent back £20 worth of food without a refund a while back. As i like to support my local businesses. The last straw that broke the camel's back, I slyly, got charged 20p for a bag i never asked for. It broke within 10 metres of your shop.

Great food, too bad for the service which was lacking and the fact that around 22:30pm they removed our glasses and turned off heating to ensure customers left (posted hours stated they were open until 23:30)

I've been going to this restaurant for four years now and it is my favourite curry house in London. The food is always delicious and portions generous. Service is always great and decor is nice. Their Paradise Special chicken curry is the best! If you haven't tried Curry Paradise, you are missing out!

Visited here because the reviews seemed good but I’m gutted I didn’t have the same experience. The special mixed grill starter and lamb biryani were okay, but then everything else we had was really below average. We didn’t plan on saying anything but the waiter asked if everything was okay because we left most of the food and so we did tell them, but then they proceeded to ignore us for the rest of the evening and charged us the full amount. Had they taken some of the dishes off the bill or perhaps acknowledged that some of the dishes weren’t up to their standard we’d have tried again, but their response makes me think that the food they served was their usual standard which I really can’t recommend. If you’ve ever had a half decent curry, I wouldn’t waste your time or money here sorry.

The food was faultless. You felt welcome and important here. The customer service was exceptional. The staff laughed and joked like they knew me.

I was just staying that way for one night and we wanted to eat out. This was within walking distance. Enjoyed the usual Cobra beer that went down well, while the food was good. Started with poppadoms and one of the sauces was garlic and creamy and was above the usual chutneys, even though would never complain about mango chutney. Mains were good - including very good naan bread. It ended up being a bit pricier than expected as we were charged for the chutneys (never known that before, especially as they top them up for the next order). Also we didn't know that service wasn't included. Otherwise, a good place to eat.

Had a fabulous meal here this week can honestly say it was the nicest curry I have ever had. Staff friendly and helpful too. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

I believe in supporting local businesses so decided to pay a visit. I was not disappointed. The service was excellent, I enjoyed all of my courses accompanied by delicious red wine. I confess the meal was too much so took some the leftovers. Will definitely be returning. Worth a visit.

Unexpectedly finding ourselves in London for an evening we headed to an old favourite Curry Paradise who despite being fully booked created a table for us and served up food as wonderful as we remembered. A joy to spend time in such a vibrant and buzzing restaurant and a reminder of our many years living in Brixton. Thankyou

The place was heaving, and service was lovely, but dishes must depend on what you order? We got two special curries and they were watery and lacked seasoning - as if they watered them down to make them go further. Bit of salt went far to improve the flavour, but was little we could do to improve the texture. Reviews seem to be good, so will give another go, but will definitely try a more classic (not a special) dish and go earlier in the night.

Beware of HAIR! Bought a takeaway here and to my disgust there was a long hair in my food!!! What is worse is that it didnt appear to be a hair from the head! Tried to call the restaurant about it and couldn t get through so visited and was offered more onion bhajis??? After going back and fourth and trying to be convinced the hair was in the restaurant eyes "plastic" the owner then went out of his way to go round the back and get some plastic takeaway containers and show me strands of plastic on the lid. It was quite clear it was a hair and even if it wasnt i didnt expect to be challenged about what foreign object it was in the restaurants eyes it should not have been in there fullstop. Won't be eating out here again and would suggest others are cautious. Absolutely revolting. After being offered more hair onion bhajis which I was refuaed I was offered a partical refund of the side dish equivalent. Stay away.

The best! This has been my staple for take-out and the odd dine in for 17 years. Brilliant traditional favourites and some amazing signature dishes. Try Chicken 89. I don't know why it's called that or what the inspiration is... but it's inspired. Lovely customer service as well.

Just ordered off of deliveroo even though I'm a spicy man went for the chicken korma the only flavour you have in that is a mouthful of coconut after mouthful of coconut your chef just couldn't be bothered today if not that is just madness 👍

Decided to order food from Deliveroo after good recommendations from friends. I ordered Tika Masala after a tiring day at work. I was excited and hungry so when I got the food it was extremely sweet. I couldn't eat. It wasn't cheap so Decided to ring them. The person was polite suggested to send a different dish , I said I will try another day. It was nice of him send another food. So I decided to call directly to them explained the situation and the guy said sorry no Deliveroo for replacement orders if you want you need to come here and order. I won't order again I have lost the interest to try again. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Food is amazing. Really enjoyed our food. GreT suggestions of what to eat and drink. K was a great guy. Lovely atmosphere. You certainly get good portions. Oh and at the bottom of the receipt you get a suggestion of how to split the bill according to how many people. Very helpful to those of you that use the phone calculator.
