Curry Express in Northampton

The kebab meat tasted like it had either been microwaved or boiled but definitely reheated, it smelt digesting. Chips and chicken cold and chewy. Also the cheese on the pizza was questionable. Sad show.

We’ve used Curry express for a while now, their food is always delicious, well priced, on time (often early) and the staff are always so lovely! 10/10 would recommend

I had a lamb tikka, flavour was lovely but lamb chunks were a bit chewy. Wouldn't put me off ordering again though, food all round was really nice!

First time trying, Large portions curry Large enough for 2 people delivery was very quick and we live over 9 miles away. overall a pleasant experience and will be returning again!

the main dishes and rice was nice. Good amount and quality meat with tasty sauces. The kids meal was poor and not value for money. Would order again but feed the kids something from home.

The prawn puri was so HOT I couldn't eat it, they've been sweetish every other place I've had them from. I ordered a korma!!! Why send me a spicy starter- that's not meant to be spicy! My husband likes spicy food and he said the patient was very spicy too.

Really quick delivery, excellent value. I had chicken saag and garlic naan and my daughter had margarita pizza. All delicious and good portion size. Thankyou. We will be back!

Once again great Indian food it’s my first choice now because the quality is good the portions are proper and the price is brilliant.

Lovely food very tasty and plentiful i buy the Indian section and for a takeaway you can’t fault it and that’s why i keep ordering from them .

Once again cheeky Tuesday so got Indian starters and whole chicken tandoori and just so tasty I’ve eaten Indian food for years and as a takeaway it’s up there for quality and price my local Indian restaurant in thrapston can’t match the taste or price .

I tend to buy their Indian food and it’s so tasty the selection I’ve bought and at a very reasonable price and another thing I’m not just around the corner from them but they still deliver to my postcode.

It was disappointing. The chips were soggy (I recommend making a small hole in the packaging for all the steam to be let out, preventing the food inside from going soggy.), and the burgers either didn't have any sauce or had so little it was a tiny dash. The Kebab came without any of the sauce that was requested. I don't know what happened tonight at the shop if it was someone else working - because last time we ordered everything was wonderful, the food was great and the sauce was plentiful. We ordered for 6 people and the only thing we couldn't complain about were the drinks sadly. A real disappointment.

We needed a curry in a hurry and as this is our nearest takeaway we dropped in an order. We weren’t disappointed. Starters, mains, rice, sides & naans all ready for collection in 25 mins. Well cooked, tasty dishes and good sized portions. We’ll be calling in here again.

Absolutely vile! Chips were trash, kebab meat was undercooked and slimy! Naan bread was soggy. Completely unedible. Avoid!

Really nice food and even threw in a few extra popadoms and chutneys. I left a note asking for my chicken balti to be a chicken tikka balti and they sorted for me. Top service and food!

Great food and quick delivery as always!

Bit disappointed tonight. Soggy chips, mushy salad and the greasiest donner meat that was dripping with fat. We’ve been a customer for years, but tonight’s effort was poor.

Bad experience this time. Usually really good so will just put it down to a one off. Instructions not followed and food was not very nice unfortunately. Will surely order again in future and hope for better again

Naan bread undercooked and the chips were undercooked

Have had from this place a few times now and they do such a variety of food that we can always find something for someone.

Pizza was only luke warm when delivered after long wait

Coleslaw was just a bit of cabbage with loads of mayonnaise dumped on top, chips not cooked very well, hardly no onion or salad in burger

5* quality was the best curry I’ve had all the food was piping hot and quick delivery. I was a bit sceptical on ordering from a restaurant that has a variety menu and my partner not liking curries, he commented how nice the burger was aswell with plenty of cheese. I think this will be my new favourite takeaway, Thankyou for a lovely meal and reasonably priced

Was delivered the wrong burger . Made a custom burger order with cheese and sauce left off but when it arrived it had both on so we had to call the store they did rectify it but by the time the new one came everyone else had finished . However the rest of the food we ordered was good quality and hot . The burger issue just sullied the experience

Food tasted as if it had been left sitting for hours. First time using this takeaway was disappointing

expected better - the curry was not good we had the veg curry and it was just like freezer veg chucked into a sauce. The onion Bahji was ok but was kinda hard and the burger just tasted weird. Would not order here again tbh.

I ordered from here as they could cater for both pizza and curry. I had reservations as I didn’t expect the food quality to be good when they were providing such a variety of foods, but how wrong I was! My chicken vindaloo was tasty and my 11 year old did not stop praising his pizza while he ate! I will definitely be ordering again! Thank you

The food arrived earlier than the expected time. However wouldn't order again because the chips were soggy and burnt. Asked for sauce and salad with the kebabs as we can get one sauce and salad for free with each meal. We never received the salad and sauce.

The two doner kebabs were dreadful. The meat was dry and over cooked, the salad portion was pathetic, the lettuce was brown and inedible, had one half slice of tomato and one half slice of cucumber and a bit of sliced onion. Disappointed in the meals ordered.

The variety was great, as a family of 5 we don’t always fancy the same thing. Burger was apparently really good, chips were lovely, curry was very tasty. Food arrived piping hot. Only negative I have - poppadoms were chewy, not crunchy, and the onion bhajee was a stodgy texture and bland. I’d question whether they were cooked fresh. On the whole, a good takeaway

Absolutely amazing food...again! All the meat is lovely and full of flavour, but the chips are just out of this world! So crispy

As always, absolutely fabulous food and delivered on time.

Forget a kebab but I phoned up and they rectified it within about 10 mins with a free bottle of pepsi. Food was 10/10 too.

The poppadoms are always stale and they didn't deliver the peshawar naan

The food was great and delivery driver was very polite. This restaurant is pretty far away and it still let me order (I didn't realize until after I had already ordered and the food was on its way) I felt bad that he had to drive so far. But the food was delicious so I'm glad it arrived!

Don't normally rate take away but food was hot but hey forgot the drink so the driver popped to the corner shop quick time, top driver

Normally food is nice here and really good but this order I got chicken tikka in pitta and it's black and it's very off putting to look at when you pull the chicken apart it's furry looking not how chicken is ment to be this has highly disappointed me I've taken pictures too

Driver amazing. Rung to check if he was in right place and insisted that I let him come to me after offering to go outside and collect from him. Good piping hot and delicious quality. Overall and very tasty and lovely takeaway. Would highly recommend

The food turned up exactly on time. The food was amazing apart from the portions as the regular is more like a kids meal. The kebab with only salad was really greasy but apart from that it’s amazing

Ordered at 6:20pm, arrived 20:46pm - 45 mins after I had a text that it was on the way and 35 mins after calling and being told the driver has left and will be with you in 15mins. Food arrived in damaged containers and all contents covered in curry at bottom of bag causing curry to drop on carpet through the house!!! Where lid collapsed, the pen on container lid had leaked into curry making it inedible and all was stone cold. Had some very hangry people in my house, as you can imagine! I understand Saturday are busy but don’t take orders if you can’t fulfil to a standard.

The best pizza I've had in years, still hot and fresh. Fast pleasant service, thank you.

I have ordered from here many times. The food is always fantastic and service is usually on point too. Tonight they were very busy, so the order turned up a little later then usual. These things happen. People need to be more patient. You can't rush perfection. Keep up the good work curry express 👏

Ordered kebab and a curry. Took 2 hours to get here. Can’t fault the kebab, was really tasty. The curry on the other hand was terrible, lamb was inedible, was so tough you couldn’t even chew it, popadoms where stale, tandoori chicken was so burnt again it was wasted. Really disappointing - we used to regularly order from here but the quality just kept going down hill - was getting fed up of complaining. Thought we would try it again as it had been a while and would happily order a kebab from there but would use a different place for Indian.

Delivery time was for 7:55pm and it arrived at 7:25 when I was putting the baby to bed. Stick to the times guys. Not helpful. The food was excellent as always though.

We used to order from here a lot and then had a few deliveries that weren’t as good (not bad, just not up to the usual) so didn’t as much for a while. This time it was brilliant though, especially the chicken pittas 👌🏻👍🏻

Placed an order for the chicken biriyani ,about 2 minutes had passed I got a call from the restaurant saying they had unfortunately ran out of chicken so without hesitation they offered me chicken tikka at no extra cost , smashing meal smashing service

Best takeaway curry I’ve ever had

Korma’s and Bhuna were great. Jalfrezi was not very spicy. Some of the rices were excellent.,The naans were disappointing. The food arrived 45 minutes late make sure you order accompaniments for the poppadom.

Good full flavours but not very warm ,the prawn masala was very watery it left a pool of water on the plate . Lamb samosas were just warm but again taste was fine onion bhajis were soggy and cold not nice . Poppadoms were very soft Previous meals l have ordered were fantastic But I will not be ordering again

Not been in the area long and saw this place had somewhat mixed reviews but gave it a go as the family couldn't decide on a single takeaway. Pizza was excellent! The Indian currys were okay, but a bit salty. I enjoyed it but my wife less so. This is not to say it was a bad meal. Somewhere that can do Indian, pizza, kebab etc, this well is VERY good at what they do... just lay off the salt with you're Indian!!!

Food was delivered on time, however, I ordered a chicken pitta and chicken naan and got a chicken tikka pitta and naan and for this reason I have rated the restaurant service poor. I did eat some of the food as I didn’t realise it was tikka until I started eating the chicken. I didn’t particularly enjoy the food as it wasn’t what I ordered.

Spirals didn't have alot of cheese even though I ordered extra other than that it was early and the delivery driver was nice
