Curry Cottage in Fenland

I recently ordered a takeaway from Curry Cottage in Whittlesey, and it was fantastic! The process was smooth, and my order was ready for pickup right on time. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. I highly recommend the chicken pasanda—it was a standout dish! The chicken was tender, and the creamy sauce was flavorful and satisfying. The portions were generous, and everything was packaged well for transport. The convenience of enjoying delicious Indian cuisine from the comfort of home is unbeatable. I can't wait to order from Curry Cottage again for my next takeaway!

Ordered some food from here couple of times the burger bun had not been steamed terrible taste of food cheap quality in my opinion the sauces taste funky the quality of the food I ate was bad I can tell salads they only put tiny bit is this how u run a business guys come on improve

Rang 10 minutes prior to closing to order food for COLLECTION and was told nothing was available other than chips and if I’m more than 3 minutes to collect no one would be there poor customer service

Can't recommend, had the incorrect order sent out and was told that was our fault . Offered nothing to put the issue right . The food we did receive wasn't great quality either

If you want food poisoning then eat here! 0 STARS should be made for this place Absolutely disgusting behaviour and management with this "business". After my partner realised our chicken was grey and black we called to let them know where they gave us our money back for the curry. Was then told we couldn't buy from the shop again as they couldn't meet our standards. Completely unprofessional and happy for paying customers to get food poisoning and then blame it on the customers and blaming them for "putting the food in a microwave to change the chicken." Absolutely pathetic. Contacted the environmental health agency and the council.

Recently moved here so thought we’d give these a try.. well.. the pictures speak for themselves!! I can’t describe what this is on the chicken.. can you? And the donor kebab meat was like the sole of my boot. Missing the salad and mayo! We waited over an hour for all this to be delivered cold.. safe to say it was our first and very last time. I didn’t even want to give it 1 star but I did just for the politeness of the person answering the phone.

Usually great but last night was to say the least disappointing I've had meals from them every week for at least 6 months however ordered last night at 5.10pmmeal arrived at 7.30 pm 1hr 20 minutes late and cold excuse was sorry were busy do the maths. ordered 10 minutes after opening which is never on time average 2mins per order taken over the phone made me 4th 5th in cue.when you go in it takes about 20 mins from placement of order to receive. 2/3 cooks working other staff helping with mundane tasks ie chips,bans,poppadoms my meal should have been 1hr at most not 2.30hrs. Going elsewhere next time but you can't treat loyal customers like that.

Southern Fried chicken for the bin then. Very disappointed as they do a lovely curry, how can you get chicken so wrong. Grey, greasy even the meat tastes of grease. I would suggest a Facebook page though as I'd have preferred to send it on a private message, not everything needs to be said for everyone to see. Bad food doesn't make a bad company but it was disgusting 🤢

Normally ok but not tonight..Popadoms were old so pliable not crispy..Prawn puri was not good...The puri was too thick almost like a nan bread and the filling just looked wrong..Waited ages as well..Different chef ..??

Worst meal ever. Took 2 hours to come an was cold an felt like it had been cooked a day ago. Also ordered drinks which didnt even come. Will never order again

Really looked forward to our first Indian takeaway for a long time. Told delivery would be 45 minutes to an hour. Not great but in fact 1 hour 20 minutes! Food was hot but very lacking in flavour meat hard and dry. Back to cooking my own curry - so disappointed.

Sajid zammer is a thief and liar

Its not as good as it was before it reopened, the meat doesn't taste slow-cooked or marinaded anymore, and the sauces are quite sloppy rather than thick with flavours like they were before. Also it does seem expensive, even if you pick up orders yourself. Free popadoms a nice touch though.

Food always hot and lovely. Delivery can be a little long over weekend, but popular so don't mind the wait. Would recommend.

Ordered twice from here and won't be making it a 3rd. Rude horrible staff - answered the phone saying what. first time order was wrong, tried it anyway and it was vile, had two bites and it went in the bin. Even the dog refused it. Second time, ordered chicken curry as thought first time may have been a one off, sadly not! Couple mouthfuls and it tasted strange, cut open a bit of the chicken and it was pink and purple inside. Subsequently went in the bin and I was sick the next morning. Disgusting place and definitely won't use them again.scored a 1 out of 5 as I couldn't leave 0!!

The curries ordered (chicken madras and medium chicken curry) were completely tasteless! The looked the same only the madras was slightly hotter. The meat is NOT cooked in the sauce so has no flavour at all. The mushroom rice was nice. Would not recommend this dreadful takeaway to anyone nor will I be ordering from them again. Rather have Macdonalds. Completely garbage food
