Coffee was nice, but took 20 mins for a takeout, came out smelling of food. Been a few times since to find it closed, which is a shame its just round the corner

Popped in with a friend of mine, we were welcomed by the sweetest staff members! Sarah, Nicole and Karolina were brilliant. My friend had the biscoff milkshake which he said was the best he’s had in a very long time, and my hot chocolate was fantastic too! Would definitely recommend, had food here previously and that was second to none as well. Big thank you to all the lovely staff xx

Used to visit this hidden gem before Cullercoats Coffee took it over & its unrecognisable, tastefully decorated, very comfortable seats, warm welcome from staff, decent array of items available & fab coffee as always, mums wasn’t to my liking which was turmeric latte, but each to their own. It’s split into 2 parts with a great outside dining area with canopies over affording extra protection from the elements, really nice visit & we will return soon we hope!

This bistro is so stylish, warm and friendly - and is fast becoming my new local - I’d highly recommend. I’ve been here with friends, had work meetings here, lovely lunches, and my 11 yr old daughter likes it too. The staff are outstanding - so welcoming and kind. The food is gorgeous and the coffee is AMAZING! It offers high quality in everything and attention to detail is great; prices are comparable to other similar styled cafes and bistros in the area. The bistro is designed in two halves - the right hand side is dog friendly and set up for coffees and cakes, the left side seems to be for longer brunches/lunches. It’s fab to be able to sit outside too, set back from the road under trees - you can happily watch the world go by. It’s a 5 minute walk from the beach too. Enjoy!

One of my favourites. Visited several times (coffee, breakfast and cocktails and all have been delicious) the service from all staff has always been amazing, dog friendly, and a pleasure to visit at all times of the day.

We’ve visited this lovely cafe three times now and each one has been wonderful. The staff are friendly and courteous, the menu is small and perfectly formed and the coffee is, of course, delicious. Tucked in around the corner from the independent shopping paradise that is Park View, this bistro is the perfect place to spend time with friends and family- lovely decor and comfy seating too 😊

£10 for an anaemic breakfast, no beans and charge extra for toast. Other similar cafes in the area offer much better value for money such as Fox & Finch down the road. Service was very cold and robotic. No personality from staff. I feel Cullercoats coffee has lost its way since it has expanded. Shame, won’t be back.

Had poached eggs on toast at the Whitley bay branch. One piece of bread ! Two eggs and no butter until I asked for it. Cost £5 and cost of food to them about 50p.The competition..Cafe 19,Room305,Crusoes etc beat them into a cocked hat for the same meal. Was asked by the staff member who served me if everything was alright..so I told her..was she going to feed it back to management? No on your life so why bother asking. Won’t be back

Staying nearby stopped off for a swift drink, good service & clearly popular as quite busy, loved the bare stone walls, the flowery paper looked liked something from the 60’s lol

Visit this pub frequently with family and live in forest hall. It’s a lovely pub and we always call in for a drink on a nice day when walking the dogs. They’re friendly and welcoming to all of us, and we always get what we want. It’s a pub, so you get what you bargain for - we normally get two pints of Stella, and large glass of wine and a fruity cider of some sort. We usually get like snacky food to share, nothing too high end. Anybody giving this pub a low rating, for honestly can’t understand why (unless they really dislike dogs). There isn’t a waiter, it’s all bar service, but it’s honestly lovely and always and the staff are always more than happy to help

If you're looking for a great place to watch the match, or just somewhere to chill after a bit of shopping, The Junction is ideal! Friendly staff and a decent location (right beside Northumberland Street and Haymarket bus station). Has TV screens up showing live racing, football etc and there is a decent selection of food and drinks.

Was good to get table service. Had ordered my meal. A bit later a friend arrived and sat with me. Stacey D, my waitress, assured me our orders would arrive at the same time., which I hadn’t expected due to the time lapse in ordering. They did arrive together. My steak was done just to my liking. The peppercorn sauce suited me as it wasn’t nippy. I’d ordered a side salad but am allergic to tomato. A nicely prepared salad with a variety of diced vegetables arrived. I was impressed by the service of both Stacey D and the kitchen staff. I was staying at the adjoining hotel which had sent me an email voucher offering 40% off main meals. Yet despite the big drop in income this did not affect the quality of service, detail and care.

Good quality but cod lacked flavour. Customer service was good. The menu is massive which gives you plenty to choose from. Food was a tad greasy but that's how a lot of us like a good traditional fish and chips. Chips were cooked to perfection. Very fluffy inside and very very hot. Fish was so flakey and fell apart cooked very well. The waiting time wasn't that bad at all. The shop smells really good. Staff seem jolly And really fair price compared to my usual place which is fisherman's bay. Which is double the price I paid.
