Lovely cupcakes, I bought one of each flavour for my daughters birthday and they were all lovely. My favourite was the smores and my daughter absolutely loved the pumpkin spice

Visited this bakery when I was in London because I have been following Jemma on youtube for years. I was expecting best cupcakes of my life, but these were so sweet they made me sick. They taste like 90% sugar and 10% flour. I do love desert but these were the sweetest desert I had in my entire life, plain horrible. They also very overpriced for what they are, it would be justifed if they were made with quality ingreditens and tasted good. Complete waste of time and money.

I’ve been following Jemma and the gang on YouTube for years now. Cooking along with them is so easy and fun. We Visited nearly every day when we were down London in July. The Cookies are my favourite things to buy and I even tried a few different cupcakes too. Keep up the good work crumbs and Doilies and hopefully I get to pop in September when I’m down.

Vegan raspberry cookies are impeccable. All other cookies and the cupcakes have waaaay too much sugar. Also, prices are quite expensive in comparison to comparable and better bakeries

I’ve followed Crumbs and Doilies for years on Instagram and absolutely love cupcake Jemma’s baking tutorials! We’ve been lucky enough to get down to London twice over the past year (mostly to use the airport!) and both time we’ve made time to pop to Crumbs and Doilies for some cookies! Absolutely amazing

I have been a fan since forever. I’ve watched every episode on YouTube and have baked at least 10 of their cupcakes and brownies. I was super excited to visit the store again. I was a little disappointed. The girls at the counter were not that friendly and even asked for a tip. The cakes were fine, but I’m not sure if I would go back. There are a lot of great bakeries in London, make sure you visit one that makes you feel welcome.

Wow! I’ve always wanted to visit Crumbs and Doilies and it definitely lived up to my expectations. The staff were so friendly, the shop was so cute and the cupcakes tasted incredible.

This is my special treat when I go down to London. The staff are always friendly and happy to help. They have so many nice flavours of cookies and cupcakes it’s hard to choose from. My favourite this time was the cereal milk cookies and the cupcakes. I really recommend give this a try and you won’t be disappointed.

Service from the man was brilliant! However the food did not live up to expectations. We spent £20 the mini cupcakes we felt were okay, but could have done with more filling inside, the coulis flavour was lost amongst the icing. But the overall texture was nice. The cornflake brownie was the best out of our selection but could have done with some more salt (being salted caramel) And the NYC cookie was simply really bad, dry, crumbly, overcooked, didn’t taste freshly baked at all. We were really excited to visit but will not be returning and this is sad.

Best cakes, cookie and brownies in London! We have ordered birthday cakes from here and everyone is blown away by the presentation to the actual quality of cakes! Ive now got the book and very inspired to start baking!

Wow the cookies and cream cookies was the best cookie I’ve ever tasted, I was lucky to get one that just came from the oven My son took the chocolate chip which was not as good as the cookies and cream A bit pricy, 4,50 pound for 1 cookie is almost at the top what you want to pay for one cookie

Small shop that is hard to find so make sure you have google maps at hand. We tried bueno cookie which was the most delicious. We also chose to taste lotus muffin, which was average in taste and last but not least cornflake brownie, which was surprisingly tasty. Almost 2£ for a tiny bite sized muffin and almost 4£ for a normal sized muffin is way overprice, so we are not coming back.

My husband follows and bakes Gemma’s recipes so he had to visit whilst in London the cakes and cookies really did not disappoint. Especially loved the Black Forest cookie. Next time we are in London we will be back!

I have wanted to visit this bakery for so long. I've followed cupcake Jemma on YouTube for ages and tried many of the recipes. I also was lucky enough to have the baking book for Christmas. I was not disappointed, the caramel cornflake brownie was delicious and so was the biscoff cookie. Sorry that I live to far away.

Visiting London for work and wanted a sweet treat to take home for me and the wife. Got one each, I had the caramel cornflake cupcake. Delicious with lots of great flavours. Although pricey for one, if I was ever in soho again I will defiantly getting a few more! Cookies looked great too! Regret not getting one!

Tucked away off Carnaby st, a cute little shop. Cakes were very expensive, nice enough and pleasant staff but not worth the price.

Happened upon this little cafe with cookies and cakes and I would say it was our best find of this trip to London. The staff were very welcoming and whilst you may think £4.50 for a cookie is a little high, trust us it is well worth it! I was in awe of the flavour and texture of the slightly warm cookies, as I sat eating a raspberry and white chocolate one and the good lady was enjoying a choc chip one. Coffee and tea were also great, but the cookies stole the show. Stunning!!!! Such a taste sensation, the very best cookies I have ever had, with the subtle warmth making everything just melt in the mouth. We went all the way back to Carnaby Street the next day for more!! I would move to London for these...

Delicious and SWEET creations that will have you promising one bite is enough … but it’s not. Worth a visit with family, friends, or alone. A bit hidden away, and should be so!

Substance matching style here 100%, very cute place plus the cupcakes and biscoff rocky road we had were absolutely divine. Loads of amazing options to choose from. Service was outstanding and prices are about what you’d expect to pay. I’m not sure you’ll find better cakes in London, it’s right up there with the best of them.

Super cute, barely would know it was there, tucked away little cake cafe. We arrived at 5pm and there wasn't a lot left so we took 2 cookies and 2 mini cupcakes. All were fab. It's a very small cafe, can get a little cramped but it's worth the wait!

I had a red velvet cupcake and it was absolutely delicious. Ate it in two bites! A tad expensive but totally worth it. Wish I had tried the others, will be back for sure!!

I’m writing to express my disappointment ! The last 2 weeks I keep watching all this amazing videos on YouTube that u truly inspire people to bake and make great stuff . BUT ! I dont believe you give the correct recipes! yesterday I tried to make the sneakers cake and I followed exactly what the recipe was saying . Caramel was way to runny ( I even bought a thermometer to make it as you said ) and Buttercream was WAY TOO sweet ! So sweet that you wanted 1 litre of water afterwards . Absolutely love the cupcakes here, so cute, lovely decorations. However- they are extremely overpriced...even for London really. It's worth an occasional treat, especially if you're coming here from Youtube. I do recommend them to people who don't mind spending a stupid amount on food.

Wow. I had the brownie with the salted caramel cornflakes on top, and it was the most incredible thing I've ever eaten. It wasnt too sickly, and the portion size was just right. We ate in - the shop is very small so there isnt really much space! The only weird thing was that they lined the plate with paper which seems like such a waste.

Visiting Crumbs and Doilies was the highlight of my trip to London and was what I was looking most forward to during my visit from the U.S. I am a huge fan of Cupcake Jemma and watch all of her YouTube videos. As a baker myself, she has inspired me a great deal and when I tasted her cupcakes for the first time during my trip, I was not at all disappointed- they are truly spectacular. And, the gentleman behind the counter was very supportive and kind in the midst of my great deal of excitement for finally being there.

The Cake is Not worth going there. "Amazing" are just the 20% on top for eat in Cake. 😆 that wasnt a Good "insidertip". No good Cake, bad Coffee.

My friend absolutely loves Jemmas insta and YouTube and is an avid fangirl so she was very excited when we realised we were right next to her shop. In terms of staff, presentation and decor everything was great. Staff were friendly and happy and we felt well looked after.

Me and my mum took a trip to London yesterday, and made a stop at crumbs and doilies. My mum is a chef and baker and has followed cupcake Jemma for a long time and wanted to try one of her cupcakes whilst we were there.

I'm a big time fan of their youtube channel. I visited the store today and it's very small with very little space to stand let alone sit. When there were 4 people waiting to look at cakes it felt very cramped.

It even cured me from my headache. Just delicious silky, chocolaty and buttery good. I wanted to taste the biscoff smore's but sandly there were none that day. One more reason to come back.

I visited here several times when last in England and this is my current favourite go-to treat stop when in London. Cakes are good standard cakes but the 10/10 for me are the selection of different brownies. My all time fave is the brownie with caramel cornflakes on top (can't think of what they call it in store) but it is amazing!

I have followed Jemma on You Tube and enjoy baking cupcakes and buttercream using her recipes. I wanted to see her shop and taste one of her cupcakes. The shop was a little smaller than I imagined, but cosy. The staff were really friendly. I bought a delicious caramel cupcake and her signed CakeBook. Well done for inspiring so many people to cook.

I see folk being disappointed / negative - well sorry folks, we were blown away by the shop - in a fresh baking world, its impractical to expect all the choices to be available all day - when we went in on Saturday around 2pm, there was still a great choice, and fresh stuff being brought to the counter - 'cos there was a continuing flow of customers. Lovely staff - with a little wow moment when the Scots lass serving us boxed up wife's choices and my choices separately and put different coloured C&D; stickers on top to identify which was which. And the cakes - well, we've shopped in NYC cupcake stores - but C&D; cupcakes were quantum better - delicious bake, and spectacular tasty frostings. Delighted with our visit.

Everyone needs to use this company to get their cakes it's an absolute must !!!

Sono andata sul sicuro convinta fossero i migliori cupcakes di Londra e che dire.. lo sono davvero! Consiglio i cupcakes al caramello e gli s’mores brownies, sono buonissimi!! Difficile smettere di mangiarli! Consigliatissimo, appena torno a Londra sarà una delle mie tappe fisse!!

I'm a big fan of "Cupcake Jemma" YouTube channel and recipes. They are delicious and spot on. Travelled all my way to London today just to pay Crumbs and Doilies a visit, after seeing in their Instagram account that two of their sweets I really wanted to try would be on the counter. When I got there, both were gone. No caramel cornflake brownie or cornflake cupcake. It was 3.15pm, wasn't terribly late or close to closing time, but those two were already unavailable. And it's Saturday, I would definitely expect C&D; to have extras on such a busy day for any hospitality-related business. Staff was lovely and kind, but one of them told me that if I wanted the brownie, I'd have to get there before half 12 (which was quite surprising, considering that they close at 7pm). It's quite sad to see that on early Saturday they were already missing firm favourites. I'm really disappointed.

Like many a reviews / reviewer relation here, I am a fan of Cupcake Jemma. Whilst in Soho, I decided to visit Crumbs and Doilies in order to order some brownies and some cupcakes listed on the website for my birthday.

I hate that my review cannot be more positive and my mrs will kill me if she finds out I’m writing this but here we go...

¡He estado siguiendo a CupcakeJemma por un tiempo y no puedo creer que nunca haya estado en su tienda desde que vivo tan cerca! ! No solo es tan pintoresco y bonito por fuera, ¡sino que el estándar del producto es tan delicioso! ! ! ¡Realmente puede decir que la compañía se enorgullece de la calidad! Y además de eso, su menú cambia todos los días

En primer lugar, este lugar sirve, con mucho, el mejor café que mi pareja y yo probamos durante nuestros viajes por el Reino Unido. Estaba perfectamente hecho y un complemento perfecto para los cupcakes.

Sigo a Jemma en Youtube desde hace tiempo y me hacía mucha ilusión probar sus cupcakes. El local es muy pequeñito. La atención es muy buena. Tienen cupcakes y brownies y cambian el menú a diario. Los dulces están muy ricos, aunque tengo que reconocer que no me entusiasmaron. A mí pareja sí que le encantó el brownie de chocolate y caramelo.

A circa un anno dalla mia ultima visita sono tornata in questo piccolo paradiso di dolcezza... abbiamo preso 4 cupcake da asporto in versione big, ci sono anche i mignon ma non tolgono la soddisfazione! Unicorn al cioccolato ottimissimo, red velvet leggermente troppo dolce, salted caramel una goduria e rasperry ripple semplice ma ugualmente buono! Il negozietto è molto carino e dispone di alcune sedute per il consumo in store a maggior prezzo (aggiungono più tasse se ho capito bene). Non vedo l'ora di tornarci di nuovo! Mi piacevano quando li ho provati per la prima volta 4 anni fa e continuano a sorprendermi positivamente! Ah da qualche tempo a questa parte propongono anche molti cupcake vegani!

He deseado visitarla desde que comencé a ver Cupcake Jemma. He horneado muchos de sus productos y siempre me he preguntado cómo es el sabor original. Me quedé asombrado. Sabe mucho mejor de lo esperado. Me preocupaba que fuera demasiado dulce, pero debido a los mejores ingredientes que usan, no era demasiado dulce y realmente se puede saborear la frescura. Me encantaron las variedades. Compré uno de cada sabor disponible ese día. ¿Quieres volver a Londres solo por esto?

Ordered a two tier cake for a party. I managed to order this for totally the wrong date, a week after I actually needed it. Only realised the day before and Crumbs and Doilies were life savers! They offered to make the cake the following day -which was bank holiday Friday by the way, so I am not sure if they should have even been working! So kind of them to do this given it was 100% my error!! All I had to do was pick it up from their Walthamstow base- which was perfect as it was en route to the party. The cake was Velvet Volcano and Raspberry Chocolate. Amazing flavours, beautifully decorated, soft sponge- the cake went down really well! Thank you again to the crumbs and doilies team!!!

I bought two different cupcakes from crumbs and doilies and they were both really yummy! I bought the cookies and cream (oreo) and a red velvet cupcake (my favorite kind) and they were delicious! Like most bakeries in london the price of the cupcakes were a little high but I didn't it since they ended up being really good! They also offer mini cupcakes which is great if you want to try different kinds without purchasing a regular size cupcake.

After experiencing a couple of cupcake letdowns lately, I was glad to stop by Crumbs and Doilies. Very good cupcakes w particularly standout icing. Loved the ultimate pretzel somethin somethin ... really had somethin special in the middle. The gf one was a little grainy - still, it’s gf! The cornflake brownie was very interesting - slightly toasted toffee flavor and a nice chew to that topping.

Being a Jemma fan, I am always making sure i visited this outlet whenever I amin london. The cupcakes are moist & delicious. Please try the salted caramel ones as they are amazing - they have it in minis which is gone in one go but that means you could try other flavor without feeling guilty!! Always loved my time here

Given that this place has a huge following and fantastic reviews, I had very high hopes for their cupcakes. I was gravely disappointed. They tasted average, we couldn’t understand the hype behind it all all. We would not return.

We visited here on a trip to London, and specifically looked for this place. So many delicious options it was hard to chose. They also do two gluten free options with taste delicious to! If you're not fancying a full sized cupcake then there amazing tasting mini ones are delicious. we chose the raspberry and white chocolate, Smores, mint chocolate chip and vanilla rose with were brilliant! The only issue was that they didn't do decaf drinks this didn't alter the fantastic cupcakes. Everybody was very friendly. The cupcakes were light and moist, the buttercream was very creamy and tasty. This can get very busy so we stop there before we did anything else.The setting is limited as the shop is only small. We will defiantly be returning next time we are near to this excellent cupcake shop.
