Terrible service I got shouted at for not taking a tray for one drink that was in a bottle and a slice a cake! The cake was stale and disgusting waste of money would of thought high quality for the price I paid for it and then when leaving this giant lady shouted at me again for not leaving the right way !! It was the quickest way outta the hell hole! I won’t ever be going there again!! 🤬🤬

Terrible service - rude and argumentative - then charged me 40p extra for a splash of hot water. The coffee was terrible - the only saving grace was the view. Take in the view and then go opposite for a better coffee and a friendlier reception.

Stopped in here for some hot drinks, when finally seen too after ringing the bell the cashier finally turned up with an attitude as if we interrupted something. Ordered two hot chocolates and never got spoken to until handing the money over, was so rude when asking for the money and giving the change. And to top it off pretty much threw my receipt at me, would never return with a member of staff like that.

The Crows Nest is a little coffee shop on the top floor of Trago Mills in Falmouth. It's quite basic - a very limited menu - but extremely cheap and very good value for money. The biggest "plus" - and a very big "plus" - has to be the view, looking out over Falmouth and the boats on the river.

I don't usually bother to write about cafés but I found this one so lovely. We visited twice during a five day stay in Falmouth. It's very bright and airy with a great view over the harbour. We had tea and coffee and the prices were far lower than other high street chains. There was a varied selection of teas and my coffee was good. There were nice big tables and comfy sofas too. There was a toilet a few metres away. The food at the counter looked delicious. The lady sering was very warm and friendly.

We went here as a group of 8 & spent just shy £50. The scones in the cream teas were small and tasted dry & stale, we were sure that they were cheap packet scones, in fact nothing on offer was particularly good and average at best. When the server seen us arrive & start to load our trays from the fridge her face was a picture, she clearly wasn't happy that she'd have to do some work by serving so many at once. It was raised as a topic of conversation amongst our group.

Trago Mills is well known in the West Country as a cheap hardware and domestic appliances etc store - and good value it is too - but we hadn't realised that its cafe was so good. We nearly didn't go - it was only because we were in the store anyway and needed a cup of tea that we decided to give the cafe a go, and I'm very glad we did. It's good, unpretentious lunch food - I mean genuinely good quality - just right for when you're shopping, tired and hungry - and there is the most magnificent view across Falmouth harbour. It would be easy to give this place a miss - don't. It was a real find.

This no frills coffee house has some great views. Coffee is okay, the cakes aren't bad either, though there are some of the staff who can be grumpy (others aren't). Pet peeve about this place is the toilet that they leave locked until you ask for the key, even though it's top floor next to the cafe itself, bizarre.

Visited here on a Sunday afternoon. What you'd expect in a Trago store. Was looking for a Coffee & a Tea. Very reasonably priced - £1.69 coffees & 99p teas. Slow service as only one person taking orders/payments and also making the drinks! Tables were full of dirty dishes & cups. They were slowly cleared away but not wiped. Empty sugar sachets in with new ones. Lovely view of the harbour with big windows! Would return just improve the tidiness/cleanliness!

The four of us dropped in last week for a snack and a drink. It is what it is: a cafe in a shop. Nothing more, nothing less. The selection of food is quite limited but good and competitively priced. Some reviewers have commented on the rather indifferent attitude of the staff in attendance. On this occasion and on numerous other visits in the past, the staff were fine. Alright, they don't hover around the clientele wringing their hands with Prozac induced smiles on their faces, waiting with anticipation on the costumer's every whim. No... What you do get is a good cup of coffee, simple food prepared well and a stunning view across the harbour. If I wanted silver service I would go somewhere else and pay a lot more!

Close to the beach but wildly overpriced for really basic fare and their “artisan gelato” is disgusting. We tried three flavours and they were all terrible, but the chocolate was so atrocious we couldn’t finish it. Ask yourself when the last time you didn’t finish an ice cream was!

On holiday for a week and we visited 3 times. First time was for a drink only, second for an evening meal and thenthirdnfir Sunday lunch. On all occasions, service was friendly, attentive (without being in your face or false) and courteous. Our evening meal was a beautiful piece of grilled haddock in a very tasty sauce with vegetables and potatoes. We also ordered a side of truffled mac n cheese. It was absolutely amazing. Sunday lunch was probably the best I've ever eaten as a pub dining experience and I've eaten a fair few in my 59 years. We opted for the 3 meat version of beef, pork and turkey. The vegetable selection was interesting and perfectly cooked. The giant yorkshire pudding was delicious but for me, the roast potatoes and gravy were the jewels in the very large crown. There was no room for pudding but on our evening visit, we did share the amaretto chocolate torte, which was fantastic 😀. For the quality and portion sizes, I would say The Pityme Inn is excellent value for money.
