Crown at Woodbridge in Suffolk Coastal

Decided to give the crown a try was abit sceptical after seeing the service reviews but we couldn’t fault it ! The young lady that served us was quick and efficient, food was lovely and was quick to arrive. Would deffiently come back ! Would be nice to see a gluten free burger on the menu maybe

A lovely lunch - ordered the Thai style mussels and a sirloin steak. Both delicious. Ate in bar area and there was an upbeat ambiance about the place. The Barman gave us some teabags to try as we were leaving as he saw us looking at the interesting selection. Will return.

i ate her in april it was great came back in september it was awful it was fish and chips or burgers i walked out i dont know if the chef has left but i will not go back

Very poor quality meat. beef was very chewy and gristly. prawns were cold. sauces were congealed and couldn't be eaten. very poor compared to the 1st time we ordered.

Sorry but just no, the food as very hot considering late. But just no. The food was tasteless, the spring rolls talk about soggy they were horrible. Chicken fried rice had no taste. Won’t be back what a waste of money!

Everything I ordered was insanely tasty and fresh, I love it when something crunches and everything I ordered crunched under the tooth, the duck was insane and the amount of toppings made mine, bravo for the chef, insanely tasty food

Real shame lovely hotel and the food is quite good .. but to wait over an hour for a fried egg on toast is pretty bad

We ate here on Saturday evening, because it has several Glute Free options. The food was good but the service let the place down. It was fine but as the evening progressed got rapidly worse.

The call was absolutely shocking, when I called to ask about my delivery they hung up on me twice. never ordering from this business again. delivery man was late but he wasn't rude

App showed collection available for 23.30 got a message at 22.50 to say food was ready then a phone to call to say shop shuts 23.15 ur food ready now if you want it be here before then. if the app is wrong shouldn't have accepted the order. got there and the sign on the shop says shut at 23.30. food was very salty and very dry and the speed it was ready after order was placed must've been just reheated. disappointing and won't be back.

My bucket is full of what ever rubbish they sent as food will not recommend this place at all please don't waste your money

Food was.. I'm sorry to say awful, chicken curry was like cement, ribs were so dry and chewie, pancake rolls chicken and veg 🫤 dripping in grease to the point you can't taste the veg inside.. Sorry but it's just not great at all

Chicken noodle soup had no flavour. Chicken curry was so thick I could hang wallpaper with it. Prawn crackers had brown bits on them the only good thing was the chips and rice. Will not be ordering from here again. I would question food quality and hygiene.

Rice overcooked, delivery was faster normally a good thing but had picked a time for a reason and it arrived 20 minutes before time

Half the food turned up cold and soggy and there were items missing from our order. They said they’d cook it and send it asap, 1 hour 20 mins later the missing item arrived. When I phoned back to question where our order was and the missing items the lady on the phone was nothing but rude and laughed down the phone!

Extremely late by near 2hrs for only 3 basic items (people that answer phone were nice) Won't ever order from here again, food wasn't great at all. Strongly wouldn't recommend

Food was an hour late pork curry not cooked properly food cold won’t use again

Sauce was so clumpy I won’t be back. And at one side of my chilli chicken wasn’t even covered in the clumpy minging sauce, thanks but never again. In other meal only three prawns and was burnt. Chicken satay was super clumpy like if you pour it it just dumped onto plate.

Food was lovely as always and nice and hot however, the delivery driver was completely incompetent. I am aware of an issue when using certain maps putting you to the wrong street so always put a note on explaining what address is the correct one, despite this I had two phone calls from the driver who tried to tell me he was at the correct address, he had great difficulty understanding when I told him he was on the wrong street and even when I did explain this multiple times he still tried to tell me that it’s stupid to have 2 addresses on the same street. One is Gardens and the other is Crescent. It made what should have been a very easy simple meal into a complete shambles

Had to give one star to leave a review. Ordered at 1750, arrived around 20:00. Food was stone cold, chips looked like they were cooked days ago. The curry sauce had turned to cement and the prawn crackers were missing. Wish I read the reviews before ordering. Did call and was offered a replacement meal in 45 mins (same time the first order was meant to come) but 2 hours later at 8pm and 2 hungry children we declined to wait any longer.

Enjoyed excellent menu choices with a difference and quality food. Also friendly welcome and service.

Order placed at 7:30pm arrived at 9:30pm stated 35 mins delivery when called they said they don’t actually use Justeat for delivery. Food arrived and was warm and had reduced to a box of slime will 100% never be using again, called and got “oh well my driver has left”

An interesting menu with a range of starters, they describe as niblets that can collectively act as a meal. We had 5 of these niblets and enjoyed the Pork Belly in particular. For the main I went for the Wellington which again was excellent. The service was attentive but not overwhelming, all in all a very positive experience

chips were cold as was all the food, chicken was dry and overcooked, bannana was a soggy lump. the crispy prawns were overcooked and tough, yet the batter was cooked on the outside and powdery on the inside. I only gave it one star because I couldn't give it a zero.

Chicken curry was OK but a bit cold,sweet and sour chicken average, wont use again.

Food stone cold on arrival. Curry sauce had a gelatinous appearance and tasted of nothing but flour. Chips had a strange flour coating on them which was disgusting and stodgy. Prawn toast was greasy and overcooked. The only edible thing was the veg rolls and that’s only because everything was cold and I didn’t put them with the sauce to re heat. Overall pretty much inedible. Definitely a no for any chance of further orders.

Food still has not arrived 2 hours after ordering. Shocking service and no explanation.

Had a dreadful experience at the crown which was disappointing given previous experiences had been good. The starters arrived and we weren’t told that what we actually ordered had been changed and so had to send it back. It took an hour for our food to arrive and then I had to send mine back as it was inedible so left the restaurant starving. It was cold, here was no atmosphere, the staff disappeared for ages and we had to ask them to clear he debris that they left at every empty table around us. Of course we complained and they fiddled around taking 20% off until I told them what we were prepared to pay for which was basically drinks and a couple of starters. Appalling experience and one that I will not be repeating until they sort themselves out.

Best Chinese we ate in a while. Hughe portion, deliciously prepared and got some free goodies too. They are also very quick. Couldn't finish what we got, and we usually do. Definitely going back again.

Order late, called and was told it would be delivered hot and ready to eat, even though it was late. I called again to say it was cold, and they said ‘well you live a long way away’. Maybe shouldn’t have taken the order, although I still paid for delivery
