Crown at Woodbridge in Suffolk Coastal

My chilli beef was not chilli beef more like battered sweet and sour beef, noodles were also not good. Highlight was the free prawn crackers!!! Chilli beef and noodles now in the bin 👍🏻 Thanks anyway.

The app said the food had been delivered . Was only sent out for delivery after I complained . Driver said he had left the takeaway 20 mins prior to arrival . Food was also luke warm .

We dropped in for lunch, it was a special meal for us first impressions were good, clean abd attractive interior. We chose off the menu and ordered. considering the lack of customers in the restarant we thought that we had to wait a long time for our food. When the food arrived I thought the portions were small for what we had paid. i had ordered liver and bacon with chips, chips were lukewarm, the liver was not much better and the gravy was cold and congealed. I asked for the food to be heated/replaced. i had to wait a further 10 mins.My wife had eaten her meal before I got my replacement. I was asked by a member of staff if every thing was ok, I told her my experience. She offered me 10% off the bill which I thought was a bit mean considered it was a special day. When I went to pay the bill I had a deduction of £3 I queried this and was told it was only off the food.Dissapointing on a special day.

Food was good, didn’t get our prawn crackers though they were swapped out for spring rolls that were not good!

i was not happy with my order it came spilt out of the tub it was in and all in the bad and chips was a bit dry

rude driver, called me a fat customer, refused ti bring food up to flat, threw food at me out of his window, food fell on ground and smashed, unsuccessful delivery, want my refund.

Some things were right,but several were not. The bedroom was warm (good) but somewhat tired, the plumbing in particular. The bed itself was comfortable, and actually larger than they advertise. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, but, I suspect, too few in number, as I had to go hunting for someone to deliver a dessert. The main meal was awful, and my wife's fish and chips were nearly all just chips.

I had been to this restaurant a number of years ago and the food was excellent. Unfortunatley this was not the case this time. My pork belly bites starter was dry and tough and the main of fish and chips was equally disappointing. The fish was not fresh and was a 'triangle' with flat thin batter that looked liked it had just come out of a box from the freezer - not the battered strip as portrayed in the picture on the website. The fish was served on a bed of crushed peas that was both tasteless and cold. Perhaps it was telling that on a Saturday evening the restaurant area was almost empty all night. I have to say though that the staff were extremely friendly and polite, a credit to the establishment. Sadly, I don't think I'll be visiting again.

Always great food and piping hot, delivery service is great and delivered with a smile, can’t recommend enough.

Superb Food & Service. A last-minute table reservation, they fitted us in for Sunday lunch. Amy & Scarlet made us feel welcome despite being the last people for lunch. Excellent fish & chips and the best nut roast I ever tasted! Despite the Crown being on our doorstep, this is the first visit, but we will return SOON. Thank you so much.

Perfect as usual , I made a mistake and placed the order for collection, phoned them and it was sorted for delivery great service!

Decided to give the crown a try was abit sceptical after seeing the service reviews but we couldn’t fault it ! The young lady that served us was quick and efficient, food was lovely and was quick to arrive. Would deffiently come back ! Would be nice to see a gluten free burger on the menu maybe

Absolutely first class. Delicious food, delivery perfect and a really friendly and professional service. I would 100% recommend the Golden Crown. Proper good service and proper tasty food. A+++++++++++

A lovely lunch - ordered the Thai style mussels and a sirloin steak. Both delicious. Ate in bar area and there was an upbeat ambiance about the place. The Barman gave us some teabags to try as we were leaving as he saw us looking at the interesting selection. Will return.

Food was awful. Prawn toast was somehow burnt on the outside and soggy inside. Chicken balls were rock solid and the fried rice just tastes like trash. Never again

i ate her in april it was great came back in september it was awful it was fish and chips or burgers i walked out i dont know if the chef has left but i will not go back

Very poor quality meat. beef was very chewy and gristly. prawns were cold. sauces were congealed and couldn't be eaten. very poor compared to the 1st time we ordered.

Everything I ordered was insanely tasty and fresh, I love it when something crunches and everything I ordered crunched under the tooth, the duck was insane and the amount of toppings made mine, bravo for the chef, insanely tasty food

We ate here on Saturday evening, because it has several Glute Free options. The food was good but the service let the place down. It was fine but as the evening progressed got rapidly worse.

The call was absolutely shocking, when I called to ask about my delivery they hung up on me twice. never ordering from this business again. delivery man was late but he wasn't rude

App showed collection available for 23.30 got a message at 22.50 to say food was ready then a phone to call to say shop shuts 23.15 ur food ready now if you want it be here before then. if the app is wrong shouldn't have accepted the order. got there and the sign on the shop says shut at 23.30. food was very salty and very dry and the speed it was ready after order was placed must've been just reheated. disappointing and won't be back.

Food was.. I'm sorry to say awful, chicken curry was like cement, ribs were so dry and chewie, pancake rolls chicken and veg 🫤 dripping in grease to the point you can't taste the veg inside.. Sorry but it's just not great at all

Chicken noodle soup had no flavour. Chicken curry was so thick I could hang wallpaper with it. Prawn crackers had brown bits on them the only good thing was the chips and rice. Will not be ordering from here again. I would question food quality and hygiene.

Rice overcooked, delivery was faster normally a good thing but had picked a time for a reason and it arrived 20 minutes before time

Half the food turned up cold and soggy and there were items missing from our order. They said they’d cook it and send it asap, 1 hour 20 mins later the missing item arrived. When I phoned back to question where our order was and the missing items the lady on the phone was nothing but rude and laughed down the phone!

Extremely late by near 2hrs for only 3 basic items (people that answer phone were nice) Won't ever order from here again, food wasn't great at all. Strongly wouldn't recommend

Sauce was so clumpy I won’t be back. And at one side of my chilli chicken wasn’t even covered in the clumpy minging sauce, thanks but never again. In other meal only three prawns and was burnt. Chicken satay was super clumpy like if you pour it it just dumped onto plate.

First time tried this place everything great quality but bit confused on chow main never had it that way sauce on top but all dry below

Food was lovely as always and nice and hot however, the delivery driver was completely incompetent. I am aware of an issue when using certain maps putting you to the wrong street so always put a note on explaining what address is the correct one, despite this I had two phone calls from the driver who tried to tell me he was at the correct address, he had great difficulty understanding when I told him he was on the wrong street and even when I did explain this multiple times he still tried to tell me that it’s stupid to have 2 addresses on the same street. One is Gardens and the other is Crescent. It made what should have been a very easy simple meal into a complete shambles
