Crown and Sceptre in Lambeth

Visité el mes pasado y me multaron, he estado aquí antes del año pasado y a principios de este año Nunca ha habido una tarifa de estacionamiento, ahora una pinta de bebidas resultó ser £ 60 (bien) si no se paga dentro de ciertos días si no, entonces va a £ 100 Estoy seguro de que el propietario o la administración puede ayudarnos a desafiar esta multa de estacionamiento, todos los pubs de Londres tienen estacionamiento gratuito para los clientes.

No estoy seguro de lo que está pasando han estado pasando allí durante unos nueve años aparte de cuando se cierra brevemente. había un aparcamiento que tenía que pagar a la dirección del parque no quería entonces se lo quitaron y luego el otro día creo que estaba a principios de julio entramos por una pinta y mi hermano acaba de recibir una multa de aparcamiento hoy dos semanas después. no notó ninguna señal allí y no le dijeron que tenía que pagar para aparcar y como digo han estado yendo allí durante nueve años. ¿alguien puede decirme si eso es correcto? Tienes que pagar para aparcar allí. libertad absoluta si pagas ahora es de £ 60 si no pagas sube a £ 100.

Breaching their licence continually. Neighbouring residents are sick of the after hours noise and disruption. Every breach of licence being reported to lambeth licencing.

Great place to catch music and play games. Especially great to see and hear Typical Daydream playing monthly. A great place for such fantastic musicians.

The outdoor music and noise is getting worse, particularly on weekends. Have called on many occasions to ask them to reduce it but it continues. They want custom at the expense of neighbouring homes. Outdoor parties are a nightmare, constant screaming and bass from music.

Do not bother. Have been going to this pub for years and thought we would try out again as re-opened. Took ages to get a drink, although not busy. TV's were on for Coronation and Sports, and then Music came on over the speakers so it was a mix of three different sounds. Could not hear ourselves speak and no one was bothered to turn down the noise. Party then started up at 3pm with Drum and Base music and by that time we left. Would not go there again, ruined a really good family pub.

Absolutely awful, to many tvs all showing different things. It just blurred into one awful noise, we could not hear ourselves. People wanting to watch football complained so that tv was turned up over the others !!! Kids party started at 3 in the main bar playing a mix of drum and base to add to the noise levels.

Upon walking by The Crown & Sceptre you wouldn't think much of it. But the new owners have made it such an inclusive and welcoming place to be. Service is always friendly and quick. The menu needs a little work and there is no breakfast... hope to see that soon. The hotel is delightful, it smells beautiful and is super comfy. Bathrooms are shared but they are clean and very nice. Access to the rooms are via the back through a seperate entrance. There is no sound from the bar downstairs. Thanks for the great service and pleasant stay.

The Crown and Sceptre Streatham Hill have reopened its door to the public. They offer a range of food, such as a fantastic curry goat served with vegetables, rice, and peas. Jerk chicken, hot wings, pie and mash, and around a great menu

I have been frequenting this pub for a number of years now but just recently I have had cause to complain about the food on the first occasion I ordered a steak that was so bad I couldn’t eat it, it was like it had been frozen and quickly defrosted and it was a grey in colour I complained about it straight away as I could not eat it as it was inedible. I was not offered a refund or a replacement. I could not be bothered on that occasion to make a fuss, but today I ordered the Chicken tikka masala which is usually good, the complaint I had today was the fact that there was only three bits of chicken in the curry. The two staff members that I complain to about this were totally nonplussed about my complaint. No offer of a refund, no offer of a replacement or something to make up for the missing chicken. I think the best thing that could happen to this pub would be for Witherspoons to take it over again. I will not be spending my hard earned cash in this pub again just to be treated like a mug I told the staff they can read my reviews Which I hope they and their bosses are doing right now.

Credit where credit is due. I used to walk past this pub to get to others because there was always something lacking but now everything has greatly improved. Food is good, staff are great and most importantly the Guinness now tastes like it should. Now feels like a proper local. Keep it up!

Place with a character, great ambience, spacious garden. Food is excellent, made from fresh ingredients, was really surprised that the prices are budget friendly without compromise on quality. Staff are very friendly and highly efficient, they will have to get used to seeing me regularly :-) If you are driving, there is a big car park outside. I highly recommend anyone in the area to come and visit this place.

One of the best local pubs in streatham! Great service and very good prices! Last but not least the food is amazing and everything is fresh, the portions are quiet big! Well done to everyone from the owner to the staff!!
