Friendly service always, plus good quality Coffee, good, snacks; very nice home made scones and cakes, Having stopped on a Saturday at about closing time for 'take away' scones/cake, I was disappointed to be charged the price for 'consume on the premises'. Why would people do that? Really disappointed as I so far have been a regular customer / supporter.

Disappointed, having passed these tea rooms several times we planned a visit for lunch on our way back from the Cotswolds. After a bit of trouble parking we made our way to tea room with our very well behaved dog. I asked if dogs were allowed in, only to be responded rudely with NO. No explanation given, or when weather is better outside is permitted, well we won't find out as wouldn't return. We went on to eat at a dog friendly establishment.

Sarah and her team could not have been more accommodating! We had the entire hall to ourselves for a baby shower. The hall itself is very quaint and Sarah spoilt us with a delicious afternoon tea, the portions were very generous and very reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend! Thanks again

Having not been a regular customer, I'm changing that since trying the breakfast sandwiches. These are probably the best bacon/sausage and egg sandwiches i've ever had. Simply delicious - thank you!

We went the first time with friends for a little treat midweek. The second time we took our 11 year old favourite middle grandson for his birthday meal. The third, we took our 18 year oldfavourite eldest grand-daughter for pur regular catch up meal. Now we are hooked and going this week just for us, a date! The staff are warmly welcoming. The distanced tables and COVID measures are all in place and more. We feel safe and very relaxed. It's not haute cuisine but it is good, wholesome and tasty food. PLUS, they go the extra mile. How? A casual mention that Not everyone wants to eat sweet scones, I prefer cheese ones, was listened too and there have been cheese ones avaiable ever since. Wow! Our grandson was surprised with a small individual birthday cake, complete with candle and it was swiftly popped into a bag to go home when he declared himself so full that he couldn't manage it there and then. The GLUTEN-FREE grandaughter had a specially made toBoy did she enjoy it!We're letting our feet do the talking and making good use of the spend with us and get free coffee card they gave us. Thank you folks!

Wij waren op doorreis en aan een goede lunch toe. Wij hebben buiten gezeten en o.a. een chli concarne besteld, die boven verwachting was. Dus uitstekend! De bediening was prettig en komen hier zeker terug.

As other reviewers have written, this was a chance find. We were making a cross-country journey from the Cotswolds back to Essex. Mid morning, we stopped off for coffee in the small village of Croughton when we saw an A board saying 'open'. The board was outside the Croughton Tea Rooms. Inside it was a bit like a village hall but not quite. Apparently it had been built and opened as a reading room by a local landowner in 1903. It looked as though it was run by volunteer ladies. Prices were very good: two coffees and a large fruit scone came to only £5.80.The menu board had a full range of breakfast and luncheon meals.

I have been passing this hidden gem on my way to the office for the past five years but after looking for somewhere different for breakfast recently I came across this hidden gemIt's clean, welcoming, charming, individual and everything most venues can only aspire to.The staff are friendly and the menu choices cover all bases regardless of your dietary requirements.I had the traditional English breakfast and was very happy with my choice. If you get a chance to try this lovely place then give it a go

Called into Croughton Tea Rooms on a Saturday Morning. The staff was very friendly, and pleasant. The breakfast we ordered was nice. We found that the toast was so thick and we did not have enough butter to go with the thick toast.

Welcoming place with a range of homemade hot food & desserts. They also bake family sized cakes & a range of cookies, preserves, cupcakes to take away. Please bear in mind it’s only open Wednesday to Saturday as far as I am aware.

I've been to the cafe a few times for breakfast or a morning coffee & cake. As the other reviewer said, the coffee and toast is really nice - I don't know where the brown bread comes from but it's chunky and delicious. There's a set full-english but since my husband doesn't like eggs, he tested the flexibility of the establishment and the staff were more than happy to swap around various items. My friend can vouch for the bacon butties.

Stopped here whilst out on a bike ride. We're always looking for local/independent cafes to stop at whilst on the bikes, and these tea rooms were just perfect. There's a nice area outside the front for sitting in the sunshine, or inside is just fine. The coffee and round of toast with jam that we had were both delicious. It's local produce, good quality, and you can certainly taste that. Reasonable prices too. The cakes on display looked delicious. Will definitely be returning with or without the bikes very soon.

I am a regular at The Sun Kislingbury. There was eight coming for Sunday Dinner hoping for a nice meal. We booked a few days before. Sadly the food was cold and our meal looked nothing like the pictures in the previous review. Not quite sure if we had yorkshires definitely no cauliflower cheese. All very disappointing, though the staff tried there best. Unfortunately pork dinner served with a very small amount of pork. Trio of meats only had two meats available. I think The Sun is a great pub if you are not a regulars.

We visited GWA again a couple of weeks ago for dinner with my family to celebrate a couple of wins for our family. We arrived and it was so cold outside but the pub was warm and welcoming and smelt like a pub if that makes sense? Seated immediately (had a reservation) and shortly after ordered our drinks, waiter was knowledgeable about the drinks/beers offered and was very friendly. Some of the party ordered starters and these arrived quickly and were very hot and yummy, a member of our party wanted to keep some of her starter to go with her main which staff happily allowed Again the staff were great with bringing the mains, which were, as always incredible! Fresh and delicious! When it came to dessert staff made recommendations and helped us choose. When the bill arrived they offered to split it if needed. Amazing food, decent prices (higher end of standard) and ability to do take away if items are left! Will definitely be back again!
