Ive been coming here on and off for 7 years and the service is usually brilliant. It’s easy going and a ‘come as you are’ attitude. I went in for the only thing I’ve religiously gotten for years, a full English. I was about to sit down in a a booth and a lady told me to sit on a singular table (fine), it was quiet I didn’t think asking for a booth was a stretch. Then I asked for the full English and she said they do it past 3pm. I told her I often visit and have had it a few times past 3pm and she talked over me saying she’s worked here 1 year she knows. And gave an oxymoron of an argument that they only cook a certain amount…. Well they can’t have used them all up if it was empty? There was no let me speak to the kitchen or the manager to see what I can do for you, I just felt dismissed. Even if the rules had changed being bossed about where to sit when it’s quiet and told I’m asking for something ridiculous is not good taste.
