Proper old school caff... quality fry up, thes best I've had for ages! The chef was a nice guy, friendly, polite and very professional! Food was cooked to perfection too....

I was in the premises when a group were complaining and have since left negative reviews on trip advisor. Staff couldn't have been more patient. The carer just seemed pissed off and was taking the staff to task about everything. Staff didn't refuse to serve anyone. Instead of reporting and plastering negative comments all over social media, the support staff should concentrate on helping the people they are paid to look after instead of sitting in the corner and having a tea break.

Would never step foot in that disgusting place again..only one lady with a disability eating and drinking because she was with 2 support workers..the rude man came over to our table and told us to leave because we hadn't brought a meal ourselves..the lady was still eating her meal..he severely upset her and how dare he tell us to leave when the lady was eating her meal..reported to trading standards..discrimination towards a lady with LD and cerebral palsy.

Removing and refusing future service to two support workers with a disabled lady is despicable. The disabled lady had food and a drink, the support workers chose not to dine, but wanted the lady to eat where she had chosen. This incident has left the lady very distressed and her normally fun day of shopping has been tainted with this horrid behaviour.

Whilst completing my job as a support worker with adults with learning disabilities we were asked to leave the premises The person I was supporting had ordered food and a drink and as her employee I didn’t . Whilst she was eating her meal we were asked to leave because I had not ordered food . We had to leave half a meal behind as we were told to leave immediately When I called later to discuss this I was told “it is not worth you sitting here when you only spend £1-60 “ I need the table for customers who spend more The manager told me he did not care if the person was disabled and needed carers if they were not going to buy food they are not welcome Disgusting company with disgusting attitude towards people with disabilities

What an amazing breakfast - this place never fails to deliver the right start to a morning (often after a late night before)

This superb Tea Room and eatery has been on this site for generations, close to the Guildhall it will provide a perfect High Tea and you don' even need to travel to London. Enjoy your cakes etc.,

Have been to Cromwells on numerous occasions now for breakfast with the wife, and we have never had a bad breakfast everything well cooked, friendly and obliging staff definitely recommend a visit. 👍👍

Me and my work mates, visit here for breakfast most mornings. So we are regulars now. We haven't had a bad experience yet. The staff are friendly, the food is AMAZING. The food is always served fresh, (not sitting in a Bain-marie) The place is clean and the food is served up quickly. There are vegetarian options too. I would highly recommend this place if you want a good breakfast, especially if you want a breakfast served early around 8am, because most places don't open until 9am.

Decent quality food for the money paid. Visited about 9pm on a week night. Was quiet when I arrived but got bust when I was leaving. Seems like a local's spot but the server was very friendly.

We visited here very recently whilst waiting to attend a court hearing nearby and both ordered the full English breakfasts.Food was really good,service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable too.This lovely little cafe seats roughly 20 and is located on a corner opposite the bus station and is also a 2 minute walk from the market square/shopping area.It also serves Kebabs,Burgers,pizzas etc.

This is a small Café near the Bus Station, its a great place to have a cup of tea or a meal, I usually have the Sausage Egg and chips when I eat here, I've been coming to this Café for years and have not had a bad meal yet.

It was a Saturday night in the middle of Northampton on the evening of the towns Diwali celebrations. Ie busy. I was staying at the Park Inn hotel and this unassuming cafe / kebab shop was next door literally. Looked clean and had a few folk sitting in. OK nothing gained as I was really hungry and wanted feeding without braving a town centre on such a busy evening. I was greeted really nicely by the staff, possibly the owner and felt at ease straight away. I ordered a large lamb doner and asked if I could sit down to eat it. Wow what a simple treat it was. Huge meal and very cheap. Staff continued to be friendly to all the customers and appeared well liked by all and sundry. Good choice then if your really hungry and would like some good old grub served well. Cafe was clean and well looked after as were the customers.

This is a very basic cafe serving a range of hot and cold food, its proximity to the town centre makes it a very handy place to go for a no nonsense snack at a reasonable price

Excellent food, always busy and good service. Mixed kebab comes highly recommended clean and tidy and reasonably priced

We decided to pop in for a quick bite to eat. We were made to feel very welcome. The food we had was great value, and was really nice. Definitely a place to return to.

this place is the best if you want good quality burgers, kebabs and pizza. staff are friendly. food is always amazing. also it is open day and late into the night so a great stop off after a night out.

Brilliant food to eat after a night out, hits the spot! Very quickly made as well, right next to bounds taxi base so you can grab a taxi afterwards

Have visited Cromwells on a number if occasions and except for one occasion (which they more than made up for) I have always fully enjoyed the food and atmosphere with great service. A little on the expensive side but overall it's worth it

We visit monthly for a sharing platter in sumptuous bar area.Comfortable seats and dim lights make ideal venue for romantic couples. Nice real ales too.
