Croft Park Café Bar & Bistro in East Riding of Yorkshire

It was my birthday & my husband took me for a long weekend there it included afternoon tea & entertainment which was fantastic. Family & staff very friendly. We have stayed before & will stay again , lodges are lovely very clan. Thankyou Sarah,Paul & all.

Called in here for lunch. I had the chicken parmigiana which was lovely. My husband had the Tuscan tomato soup with a portion of chips and as usual that was also lovely. We have been quite a few times now and always enjoy it. The staff are always friendly and polite.

Called in here on recommendation from a family member who is local (we are from Doncaster and we were dog sitting)! The surrounding area is lovely as is the approach up to the Croft Park Cafe and the outside of it, we had decided to sit outside as we had 2 dogs with us. Well, this is when I decided I loved the place... the dogs were so well treated, they both had their own doggie box that contained water, a dish, doggie treats and a snuggly blanket plus their own doggie menu! Suddenly the heavens opened and it poured with rain, I have never seen waitresses (or what ever they like to be known as) move so fast, within seconds they had moved us and the dogs plus our food to a table inside! They were brilliant! There were others outside with their dogs that were also moved indoors equally as fast... Well recommended is the mushroom soup which was filling and very tasty, the cakes are also great! Its very clear that this is a family run business and that they all love animals, give it a try you wont be disappointed. Lovely and easygoing place. Plenty of parking. Nice welcome and all the staff are friendly. Food very good and excellent value. Well thought out and broad menu. The jokey memes constantly cycling on the monitor in the restaurant are a bit cringe making - and in my opinion don't improve the place's style. Millers wouldn't do that - but Croft Park is the better one. I'll return, and happy to become a regular.

Great value, good food, a relaxing location, and the finest customer service I've ever experienced in any UK restaurant, both for Humans and their Dogs. These guy's attentive care, cleanliness, and attention to detail, genuinely, exceed the standards I've experienced in many highly rated restaurants.

This was my 2nd time here and it didn’t disappoint. Paul and the staff went over and above for us. We had a special request and whilst it was something they wouldn’t normally do, they were able to accommodate my request out of good will. Which they didn’t have to but was very much appreciated. Food was excellent, the service was extremely warm and welcoming and it has now become our favourites cafe in the area. Looking forward to coming on a tribute night. They look and sound fabulous!

2nd visit to this little gem. The vegetarian breakfast with extra crushed avocado tasted as good as it looked 😋. As before, Hamish our Border Terrier, loved his treats and his bottled water provided. Will be returning again soon with friends 👍😊

Had a variety of meals and yet again it was delicious and priced to sell. Very friendly staff and give good banter back to us. Would recommend it to anyone.

The best cooked breakfast in East Yorkshire by far. Great value for money, lovely family run cafe great atmosphere. Little gem, love it here.

Stayed there for February half term. Lodge was very nice and clean. My kids enjoyed the hot tub a lot. English breakfast in the morning extra touch for us. Only the disappointment is no attraction near by.

Visited today for the first time, the food was great and the staff were lovely. We visited as a group of 3 +2 dogs. Generous portions and fairly priced. We can’t wait to come back in summer to sit in the outdoor area.

Not been to Croft Park before so being vegan and gluten free I was not sure what I could have from the menu. However the staff could not have been more helpful. I had a lovely salad with vegan coleslaw especially made for me. The staff were very clear on what was available and informed me of ingredients. Menu is to be revamped to offer more vegan/ gluten free options so watch this space. Definitely would recommend and will return to try the new menu. Susanne

The right place to stop to break up a crisp winter's day walk. The food was brilliant - very tasty and good portion size. The waitress was friendly, helpful and prompt. Have used this cafe before for lunch and regularly for an afternoon tea and cake stop. Lovely family run business. You can't go wrong.

Had a truly wonderful evening at what is a regular haunt for us !! Everything was superb !!….. the music 👏….the staff 👏….the food….the atmosphere 👏….. We were staying in a shepherd’s hut on site which included breakfast every day for our stay wow stupendous food to die for yes it did take time but well worth the wait staff were really friendly and very helpful you can tell how good places are if locals use it and we knew how good it was going to be lots of locals return time and time again I noticed with interest a previous review stated locals got priority didn’t find that at all staff were great the menu for all day food was really good well worth a look even if you’re not staying on site and in the area

What an excellent café. Attentive staff, great service, even though short staffed. Arrived at 1150, but Paul was excellent and did us a meal from the breakfast menu all the same. Food was gorgeous. I had the ultimate breakfast which was spot on. My wife had a bacon and mushroom ciabatta which was equally as nice. Our greyhound was treated like royalty with a blanket, snack and fresh bottled water. She then had a soggy meal which was shepherds pie! All round great place - well recommended

My husband and myself called in after he had heard it advertised on radio I believe. What a fabulous cafe this is. A beautiful veranda to sit outside if weather is good with a tranquil setting. It's difficult for cafes to cater well for a group but Croft Park was first rate. From first to last the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, despite the fact that I had to change our order several times. We'll be back!.
