Avoid at any cost😖😖 I wish I could give zero stars. Food was terrible. Dosa ordered were not crispy and vey soggy. Naan served cold and very chewy. Food was served but no utensils and dishes provided. After requesting at least 5 times no sign of plates so we had to eat starters straight from served dish among four people.and we had to get cutlery’s ourselves after frustration. Main dish served and again no plates or cutlery’s , we need to take out by ourselves. The table was not clean and so sticky. After paid the bill complained to server about it and was told it was busy so sorry no clear explanation as I have argued weekends is always busy. I have complained to manager and he said simply sorry and no explanation. Please avoid this place at all cost. I wasted £70.

I recently visited Crispy Dosa in Milton Keynes with my family, hoping to enjoy some delicious Indian cuisine. However, our experience was a bit disappointing, primarily due to the service and some misunderstandings. First, I ordered a draft beer, only to receive a bottle instead. The menu wasn’t clear about whether the beers were draft or bottled, which was frustrating. Additionally, the price of the beer felt a bit steep for what we received. As for the food, it was decent but not memorable. It didn't quite meet the expectations I had based on reviews I’d read. Unfortunately, the service was another letdown. The staff seemed to have difficulty understanding English, which led to some confusion during our meal. Overall, while Crispy Dosa has potential with its offerings, the service and clarity in the menu need improvement. I hope they can address these issues for a better dining experience in the future.

This is a good spot for Dosa. I had a masala cheese dosa and enjoyed it, the chutneys on the side were delicious! We also had mogo and pani puri which tasted good, the pani puri was a little spicy though! I'd try getting a table upstairs when you visit as we sat downstairs and it was quiet cold, especially as they have big automatic doors that open everytime someone comes in or leaves but I wouldn't knock it just for that. The Falooda was not nice, it was way too concentrated with syrup and even after a good mix, all I could taste was the syrup. Overall, a restaurant for good Dosa and we will visit again in the future!

We visited last night, and had Masala Dosa, Paneer Dosa and Plain Dosa. When asked for extra sambar and white chutney, they happily obliged. Food was okay (not great), especially when compared to the nearby stalls in the open market. I would expect a better quality, for a return visit. I do not appreciate automatic 10% service charge.

Really tasty food and lovely staff. Spice levels more southern India than the north but delicious all same.

Recently we visited Crispy Dosa restaurant Miltonkeynes were very disappointed with food we ordered masala dosa & chana masala but the sambar just had 2small pieces of carrot & thin dal curry & chana masala plating was disgusting & smell coming from kitchen very bad ..waste of money 👎🏻 no more visiting this place.

Not worth the Value for money. Very dry Vada, the Chole Bhature was Puri instead of Bhature so little chole, Dosa so small. The Sambar was tasty.

Do not go into this restaurant!! I went in with my family on 17 / 02/25. unfortunately, the experience has not been good. They do not know how to seat their guests, first off.. There were so many seats but we were seated at the entrance which was very cold. We ordered Masala dosa but when we actually saw it in person, we were really gutted, it was thinner than a piece of paper. What a shame! "Earn your bread by the sweat of your brow". The price they charged was unthinkable. They have only one toilet and family, please beware! The food was below average. The cleanliness was appalling... Worst of all, on top pf the 20% Vat, THEY CHARGED ANOTHER 10% AS SERVICE CHARGE. WHAT A RIP OFF!! I have travelled across Europe but never seen a hotel charge so much for so little food...We could have easily dined out in a 5***** hotel for the price we paid there... NEVER AGAIN TO THIS RESTAURANT.....

Totally waste of money guys.i went to this restaurant recently,the food was awful and unhygienic.while I was eating dosa I noticed a spoon fell from cutlery stand on floor and instead of taking it away for cleaning the staff put it back to cutlery stand.The sitting chairs are dirty with visible spots.the staff are unprofessional,I asked them to bring me starter untill the main dish come but I keep waiting for 22 minutes nothing comes to my table.i am never going back to this place.

The crispy dosa had a great texture and taste, but the inside was cold. It could have been heated more evenly for a better dining experience.

Breakfast is good here. But the main menu especially rotis and curries (paneer butter masala) needs a lot of improvement.

Terrible Experience – Never Visiting Again! I’ve had back-to-back bad experiences with this restaurant, and I’m utterly disappointed. The last time I visited, I was served food on a broken plate with a visible crack. How can a restaurant be so careless with basic hygiene and presentation? I reported my dissatisfaction to the manager, expecting better service in the future. However, this time was no different. I ordered noodles and specifically requested less oil. Despite my clear instruction, what I received was drenched in oil! It makes me wonder if they even bother to listen to customers’ requests. This level of negligence is unacceptable. I will never visit this place again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. If you care about quality service and hygiene, avoid this restaurant at all costs!

Yesterday, we went for unlimited breakfast but unfortunately, nothing was like before. Everything was tasteless and cold. We always go there. initially everything was good and tasty.

Visited for dinner and had a great dinner. We had a family dosa and it was very impressive -4 foot (and all of it very crispy!) Friendly service from the waitresses too.

The food was not even worth. Because I brought paneer butter masala as take away and after reaching home only I talked the food is spoiled and can’t even take the smell. And also we had battura which is not even a distant relative of real battura in chill atmosphere. I hope they are saving electricity or gas. I suggest this restaurant to all my enemies.

We were pleasantly surprised with our Too good to go service. It is a pure veg restaurant and although it was a surprise package it was more than sufficient for a persons meal for the amount given. The food was hot and fresh! The manager and team serving us were very friendly 😊

I had Morning Buffet at Crispy Dosa, MK and totally disappointing and not value for money. With restaruant name Crispy Dosa, I was expecting many dosa varieties - but they have only few options - not worth paying 13 GBP for morning breakfast. The onion dosa i ordered - it barely had a onion on the dosa. Does the owner know how the onion dosa is made and I think street food dosa maker better than Crispy Dosa. I wouldn't come again and I would say it only worth 7GBP not more than that.

Two times I had food from here. I have tried Choley Battura and Porotta Veg Kuruma. Both sides were salty. I have informed them about it during my first visit but no changes.

The service and quality of food has improved over the last few months. As a frequent visitor I can see they have worked to improve their turn around time for food delivery.

I visiter here for breakfast on a saturday where they do not serve food from the menu and only serve the buffet breakfast. I was actually craving for a cheese masala dosa but had to do with what was on offer. The buffet is good value for money as told by the manager. They offer food like masala dosa, dosa, poori, vadas, idlis etc on the buffet. The food is delicious and a must try if your craving south Indian tiffin breakfast similar to India.

Amidst today's visit to Milton Keynes Crispy Dosa, I encountered one of the worst experiences in the restaurant industry to date. The staff's professionalism, including the waiter and the receptionist/manager, was severely lacking. This morning, when my family and I arrived for breakfast, the table we selected had dirty plates from previous customers. We asked the waiter to clear the table so we could sit down. After we finished our breakfast, the waiter unexpectedly requested that I clear my own plates. Strangely, this same standard was not applied to the previous customers whose plates we encountered upon arrival. When I inquired about this discrepancy with the manager, he reiterated that I needed to clear my own plates. This left me wondering why this policy was only enforced for us, especially since I had to ask for the table to be cleaned before we could sit. It was disappointing to have had this unpleasant experience, particularly after driving 48 miles round trip to visit this purely vegetarian restaurant for a good family breakfast. What was meant to be an enjoyable meal turned into a sad and unexpected ordeal.

its a one time visit place, bit pricey for dose, i have order masala dosa. Potato bhaji was not up to the mark (feel like boil), coconut chutney (feel like they use frozen coconut for chutney) was little flat there was no curry leaf's and mustard tadka. ambience was good and service was good.

Please make some mild spicy sambhar and no spice chutney for kids in kids menu , it is so easy to cater , what’s the point in having a kids menu with full blown spices in chutney and sambhar , it is so easy to cater

Very disappointed with the food, as it was average in taste, the food came out cold and we asked several times for it to be reheated. The place was cold. The staff did not understand allergies and it was stated wrong on the menu. The naans were very chewy and the was a hair on one of our plates. It was very expensive for the experience we had and will not recommend to anyone.

Must try their Ghee Paper Roast with white chutney, also Cholla Poori :) Their weekend breakfast buffet- not that tasty, but we can have unlimited.

Paneer portions have gone tiny while the prices have remained above average. Wrong picture used on Uber eats for veggie noodles, they’ve used the Hakka noodles picture on the veggie noodles item. A hair was found in the noodles. But we got takeaway so wasn’t worth the hassle of complaining. Gone downhill

Fantastic restaurant with tasty food and friendly staff

I recently visited Crispy Dosa in Milton Keynes and had the most amazing experience! The masala dosa was absolutely delicious and brought back the authentic taste of the dosa I have enjoyed back in Kerala. It was so good that we ended up ordering another one right away! We initially asked for normal tea, but they only serve masala tea. While we weren’t big fans of masala tea, the manager kindly offered us a cup to try. To our surprise, it was excellent – I actually liked it a lot! Overall, great food, kind service, and a lovely experience. Highly recommend this place!

Horrible service...horrible food...naan was so worst I ever had...been a frequent customer of hounslow branch...its been horrible experience of milton keynes branch...totally avoid...

Sambar was not freshly made, draught due to no heating and 🥶, Disable toilet had some fault so you have to go upstairs. 02 jan25.Time between 19hrs to 20.hrs.Staff on site gets 5 star for services. No more visit.

The food is standard in flavour (as expected) however service desperately needs to be worked on. Our starters came out following mains. When we chased for our starters nobody had a clue & we were just given delayed timings on when they would be out with us. They need a better system on how food is delivered out to improve. Prices seem inflated & higher than what I’d expect given portion size given!

We went for dinner with our family and were greatly disappointed with the service and food...service was pathetic...food was served without plates..we went to person Nd ask for plates...2 chapati only took 15 min...dosa was ok but chutney and curries were horrible to taste...naan was so thick, dry and hard...when we asked they said it takes 15-20min to make naan...they hardly cared what we said...pls don't waste Ur money and time...

Never expect this kind of food or service from crispy Dosa, when they come to take an order, they asked “you need spicy or normal” and when I say spicy, they charged extra for spicy which didn’t mentioned earlier, there was a space upstair but staff said no and downstairs 5 of us has to accommodate and table is even small for 4 did t have enough space to keep our plates…

My last visit here was some months back and despite the service being great the food was not upto its usual standard. We ordered starters and mains which arrived in no particular order. The baturas tasted like puris not like how they made them in the past. The drinks are expensive here but they provide water. There is a lot of competition nearby for custom and better food is available at the same price.

We ordered Onion Rava Dosa, Chilli Paneer, Baby Corn 🌽 Manchurian, Starter Platter, Fries 🍟, Chilli Garlic Naan🫓 , Veg Kolhapuri, and Paneer Punjabi. - **Best Dish:** The Onion Rava Dosa was the star of the meal—crisp and juicy, absolutely delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. - **Also Good:** Baby Corn Manchurian was also quite good. The Chilli Garlic Naan and curries, though a bit spicy, were tasty. - **Could Improve:** Chilli Paneer was a bit hard; it should be softer to enhance the experience. Note it's a pure vegetarian restaurant, perfect for those who prefer a plant-based diet. There is no free parking available, but there is sufficient pay parking nearby.Ita just a pound for 1 hour. It's a must-visit place with family, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to all tastes and preferences. We ended up paying about £95, which is a bit on the expensive side, but it was still worth it for a day out with the family. The staff were very friendly, taking personal care of our needs. The restaurant has a decent ambiance and is spacious, making for a comfortable dining experience.

This is our 4th visit to crispy dosa. We come all the way from Bedford just to eat here. The only downside is it’s a bit pricy compared to other dosa places . But the taste is very authentic .

I recently visited Crispy Dosa in Milton Keynes, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. To start with, the service was not good. The staff was average, but their approach seemed unprofessional at times. We ordered our food and were still eating when a waiter brought the bill and insisted we pay immediately. Despite us explaining that we would settle it after finishing our meal, he didn’t seem to understand and took the bill while we were eating. This created an uncomfortable and rushed dining experience. If they were running late or closing soon, why allow us entry in the first place? As for the food, the taste is subjective and may depend on individual preferences, but it didn’t impress us. The dishes lacked the authentic flavor we were expecting. However, I must say the atmosphere was pleasant. The ambiance was inviting and created a nice setting for a meal, though the overall experience was overshadowed by poor service and average food. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback to improve its service and ensure that diners feel welcome and not hurried.

We booked for a birthday treat ready to discover a new type of cuisine for us. Very disappointing. Did not feel very welcomed in despite booking in. We asked for advice to be guided through the lengthy menu. The waitress did not express herself clearly, did not spend time to explain the concept. Very spicy hot food, brings tears and tastes disappear... Slow to be served, a drink was forgotten and not all served at the same time. The place was cold and smells of frying oil. We were very disappointed. It felt expensive compare to the experience.

Ambience of hotel is fantastic ! Never seen such wonderful ambience in uk with lot of space n warmth! Service was good but needs more training to get it better… well done for a starter n hope to be better very soon !! Kudos!

Been looking for an authentic dosa place for ages and the food here was amazing. Some of the worst restaurant service we have experienced, however. They know nothing about hospitality, so bear that in mind if you decide to check it out. Cheese dosa and chilli paneer were everyone's favourite.
