Crepesomania in Oxford

It’s a shame that after several visits this crepe and juice bar in the Uni parks is so disappointing despite the wonderful surroundings it sits in. The hot drinks are under filled and expensive and the staff are indifferent to the point of rudeness.

Imagine a world where inflation cripples you on a daily basis and all you ask is for a sweet, delectable hot chocolate. You desire this so much that you pay £1.20 for additional marshmallows only to find out they were not there. That my friend is pure disappointment. I will not be returning as that is £4.20 down the drain! I could’ve fed a nation for that amount! Utterly appalled. If you want marshmallows do NOT come here! (If you don’t than the hot chocolate itself was actually alright)

I spent £10.90 on 1 hot chocolate, 1 latte and 2 bottles of cola. The hot drinks were really small and not worth the money. I aslo spent at least £11.60 on 2 nutella crepes, the size was good but i could barley taste the nutella and the crepes were really dry and crispy. They were not crepes in a magical crepe world, they were crepes in the crepe hell. I am disappointed. My friend just wanted a hot chocolate with marshmellows, she spent £1.20 on marshmellows and she did not recieve it, we are very upset and i do not recommend spending your money on it.

If you’re in Oxford you have to try out the crepes here - absolutely amazing! We went for banana and Nutella and I was in heaven!

Owner makes great crepes and was very welcoming and friendly to visitors from Canada. Also great for gluten free! Had many GF options to choose from and dairy free if needed. Definitely would go back if ever in Oxford again

Absolutely delicious! We had crepes with nutella and strawberries. The crepes were warm, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside when folded. Served with a wooden fork and on a cardboard sleve that allowed for easy access and helped to avoid a mess. The men who served the food were friendly. We cant recommend it enough!

Those were by far the best crepes we ever had!! I recommend everyone to go there if you are in Oxford - it’s a must!! So so so so delicious!

Stumbled on this remarkable food truck with the most amazing crepes upon our arrival in Oxford!! What a pleasant and delicious surprise!! Amazing crepes prepared before your eyes....We had the apple cinnamon and strawberries and toffee varieties...they were out of this world!!

Very disappointing visit to crepes o mania in which 20 minutes before closing time I was refused service as they were ‘shutting early’ despite there being no closed sign and the hatchs being open. Definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone goes to this place if they actually want to be served.

Nice flat white but banana and Nutella crepe was barely edible, the banana being extremely unripe and hard.

Great choice of hot and cold drinks and freshly made crêpes and galettes. Smoothies were yummy too🤩 All crockery and cutlery is recyclable, so no bad feeling for having a take away cup/plate! Highly recommend for any visitor to the University Park in Oxford

This summer, I stayed in Oxford for six weeks while studying at Keble College. Every day I would go to this family-owned crepe stand at the entrance of the University Parks to get breakfast. The family members who own this business were unfalteringly friendly to me, and often exceedingly kind. Talking with them was the best part of my morning, and it always sent me into the day feeling very happy! I highly, highly recommend visiting them. The smoothies are excellent (I suggest the açaí kick), as are the crepes and coffee. The scenery is swoon-worthy (really, you must sit and eat while admiring the Parks) and the authentic, lively, and good-natured attitudes of the people who work there will turn your typical coffee purchase into a very pleasant experience that you’ll look back on with fondness. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit!

The food was absolutely fantastic, the dessert crepe was good enough to be a dessert on its own. It was amazing 🤩

Unfriendly staff, hygiene is questionable when handling the food, and no clue on food allergies and Intolerances. These people seriously need a proper training!

Went here with my children for lunch. The children had a white chocolate crepe, a milk chocolate and strawberry crepe, and I had a “Toulouse” (sausage, cheese, onion, and apple) crepe. All three were delicious and enjoyed by all. Perhaps a little pricey (£18 for the three crepes), but would visit again. Friendly service too

I am dairy and gluten intolerant and Crepes O'Mania managed to cater for both without any fuss. Totally delicious chocolate, banana and strawberry crepe. With no dairy or gluten. Thank you. Come check him out he is on Broad Street, Oxford.

If have eaten Crepesomania crepes several times at different occasions. Never disappointed. They offer crepes I would count as a main course. This is a recommendation for street food in the heart of Oxford.

We stopped here prior to our Harry Potter Oxford tour and the crepes did not disappoint. So good!!! Was a great little find.

We had the nutella and banana crepe as well as the strawberry and sugar crepe. The crepes are made-to-order, unlike a lot of crepe trucks that make crepes and then have them just sitting there to warm up on the crepe pan when you order....

Had the toulouse , crepe at lunch time and despite the crowd around it, I received my crepe quickly.

Yesterday I visited Crepesomania. My friend had gone to buy a cup of coffee in a shop nearby and we agreed to meet at the takeaway creperie. When my friend came to meet me coffee in hand I was still queuing. Bearing in mind it was 4pm and there were just two ladies in front I queued for 15 minutes (including the time in which my crepe was made). When making the ladies crepes the man making the crepes put bacon on their crepes in the same bucket as the tool to make my nutella crepe. Being vegetarian I was upset by this but still paid and did not complain. I gave the crepe to my friend and she complained in was heavy and hard to break pieces off. He used no gloves and the stall overall looked grubby, rusty and outdated.

I ordered a white chocolate crepe and I received an overally heavy crepe (need to review is batter recipe) and melted white chocolate with clumps, something looking more like clumpy meltin butter. It was a messy, sticky mess of dough that I didn't finish.

Amazing crepes at good prices! I went almost every day of my stay it was so convenient and delicious. I recommend to anyone visiting Oxford and looking for a quick and great tasting dessert!

I chose to order a galette as I am dairy-intolerant (key word: intolerant, not deathly allergic). After ordering the galette with Nutella and strawberries I proceeded to receive a lecture from the vendor about how much milk there is in Nutella and how he cooks his crepes on the same pans and there might be cross contamination. While I appreciate his effort in being transparent, I felt his tone was very condescending and pushy. So much so I changed my order (upon his recommendation) to dark chocolate sauce instead of Nutella (I do not recommend this, it was very watery). He then proceeded to unevenly spread the batter to which I expected him to start over, but he didn't. In the end, I was very disappointed in the presentation, quality, and overall taste of my crepe. I will not be coming back here unless I choose to order the regular crepe with Nutella, which my friend said was very good. I am very disappointed in the customer service and product I received since there were so many positive reviews online and the shop advertises a dairy/gluten and egg free option. To top it off, I was charged extra for the galette.

So worth a quick stop on your way out of or into Oxford. The savory salmon crepe is amazing and of course you can't miss the classic nutella and banana. Must try!

After a busy day shopping in Oxford it was such a very welcome treat! The crepes are prepared with love by a very friendly and smiley French man who is actually originally from Brittany! So what better assurance do you need that you will get the proper stuff! A must stop that I would hardly recommend to anyone visiting Oxford city centre!!!

Just stumbled upon this lovely little crepe van as we were walking around Oxford. The owner was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free food and explained how he wipes down the plates after each use.

If you visit Oxford and felt hungry, Crepes O Mania is a MUST try. Don't ask for extra Nutella as its already very generous!

After so many positive reviews on trip advisor, I recommended to all my friends that we stop and eat at this cute crepe truck. I was embarrassed afterward when no one was pleased with the results. Not that it was bad, it was fine. But we didn't consider it worth it.

牛津街头的一辆卖煎饼的小车，就在牛津一家哈利波特纪念品店附近。车里时不时散发出一股煎饼的香味，煎饼有甜(sweet)和咸(savory)两种口味。甜煎饼香甜松软，搭配Nutella榛子巧克力酱和香蕉就更好吃了(超级好吃!要不是臭粑粑拦我,我就再买一个了!)，粑粑点了火腿鸡蛋味的(结果那个煎饼的1/2被我吃了......)，麻麻点了烟熏三文鱼加柠檬汁的(个人觉得一般般啦,所以才抢了粑粑的煎饼)。店主人很好，他和我们聊了中式煎饼和法式煎饼，他还知道刚刚发生的天津大爆炸o_o！

So another terrible crepe from Crepesomania, and I finally have to write a review. The crepe was flavorless and the lemon juice was out of squeeze bottle and tasted like chemicals. I binned it twenty paces away. That is the third, but last unfinished crepe from here.

While I was looking for some place to eat cheap and healthy food I found this little van right in the centre of Oxford. A native of Brittany, Akim, holds the restaurant. After a short talk I met a very nice person, who liked what he as doing, and prepared traditional crêpes bretonnes with love, passion and flavour ! You can find gluten-free, sweet or salted crêpes : there is something for every taste there !

Ce restaurant situé en centre-ville est très facile à trouver, au milieu de Broad Street dans un petit camion blanc très propre. Le patron, Akim, est très accueillant et vous conseillera avec plaisir sur les différents choix du menu. J'ai particulièrement apprécié les crêpes salées à la farine de sarrasin, très rares en Angleterre ! De délicieuses crêpes bretonnes pour tous les goûts salées, sucrées et en prime sans gluten. With my dietary restrictions it's hard to find food that I can eat out. Imagine my surprise when I found this gem right in the middle of Oxford! They have both savory and sweet crepes, made right in front of you, using gf or traditional batter. Worth the trip, they were amazing! Everything is made fresh and the flour is heritage.

As a coeliac, I was delighted to find I could eat at Crepes O Mania. This little truck has some of the best crepes-- and best food in general-- in Oxford! Both the sweet and savory crepes are excellent, and make for a quick lunch for visitors and students right near the Bodleian. The ingredients, including the flour, are all fresh and locally sourced. There is nothing like a well prepared hot crepe, especially in the winter. I eat here every time I visit Oxford to do research work, and have cravings for the crepes when back in the US. Crepes O Mania will get a citation in my doctoral dissertation!

These are the best crepes I have had in a very long time! I had both savory and sweet and both were so filling and just really nice. Customer service was also excellent, very friendly.

Despues de leer los comentarios y puntuaciones esperaba otra cosa. Tanto el crep de nutella, como el de mi mujer de chocolate negro, eran muy normalitos tirando a mal, escaso de relleno ambos. Los he comido mejores incluso en mi casa.

I come to Crepes O Mania at least three times every week for a quick meal between classes or before practice or for a pick-me-up after a long lab. The service is great (I aways have the nicest conversations) and if ever I am in a rush the crepes do not take long to make. It is wonderful here. Not sure how I would survive Oxford University life without it!

Soy una estudiante de intercambio y fui con unas amigas, tambien de intercambio, a oxford y vimos este carrito de crêpes... No me esperaba mucho, pero fueron unos de los mejores crêpes que e probado y todavia mejor porque son recien hechos, calentitos... Para que decir la atencion.. El señor es un 7! Muy amigable y divertido.. Una experiencia inolvidable, lo recomiendo totalmente!!!

El único riesgo es quedarse con ganas de más. Un crepe de nutela es la manera perfecta de terminar un día de conocer la ciudad. Excelente servicio, vale cada libra.

Crepes are really good! They have both sweet and savory crepes and can do regular and gluten free! I had the apple and cinnamon gluten free buckwheat crepe and it was delicious! It's just a little truck that's serving these up but doing an awesome job! Highly recommend!
