Fast service, very popular, good asset for Credenhill village.

Got home and realised they had forgotten to include our fish with the chips which was a shame as we live 20 minutes away, the staff were friendly but the chips themselves were really dry and badly overcooked. My partner had chicken meat and chips and was a very small portion.

This is a great chippy - we love it! The menu is wide and varied and you will no doubt find something to please - the chips have always been delicious - top draw chippy!

Reviewed on here in 2015 and now 2024 and what a difference! Served straight away by a very polite young lady who appeared to be working alone. The food was freshly cooked and small fish was tasty along with crisp chips. Price was reasonable as prices go at present. I will return and great to see a marked improvement since my last review. Congratulations!!

The chips were very disappointing they tasted as if they were from a lunch time service and had been recooked again in the evening very dry and hard normal very good in the past hopefully just a one off

The fish always greasy and the chips were soggy and white the lady who served was fine but the lady who was prep the food was very arrogant to the server felt like a bad atmosphere to work in

Good quality food at reasonable price , sometimes a bit of a wait when busy , but it is cooked fresh !

Best fish bar in our area. Always busy, but the staff are fantastic.

Third time we have tried and worse than ever. Never again. Small portion of cardboardesque chips, dry and tasteless. Both the haddock and cod portions were incredibly meagre, the batter was quite literally as thick as the fish. Plus the batter was disgustingly greasy. Six o'clock on a Friday evening (but no queue) so no excuses.

Absolutely the most foul place to eat food. AVOID HERE. On a few occasions I've had really poor quality food here that even my dog turned down. Fish is watery and quite obviously frozen and the sausages are often pink in the middle probably frozen too? I imagine owner buys all stock frozen from bookers flash fries it which leads to poor quality often undercooked food. Had a house full of people with food poisoning including my daughter who is still a toddler. A deep fried woodlouse was found in the chips too. Honestly do yourself a favour and take the trip to Edwards Plaice. Unless you want D&V over the next couple days. This place is a discredit to credenhill and deserves to be shut down. What a poor legacy for the place that used to be such an amazing bakery. Again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Not very good. We all felt unwell after eating chips. A 2 year old was up from 2am vomiting, being sick every hour, and we had to call emergency services. A 6 year old felt unwell. A pregnant lady was sick And I felt unwell (adult). This is not the first time I've felt unwell from this chippy.

Brillant staff food was excellent clean tidy

Very good. Battered Cod especially nice.

It's ok and local , not my first choice as there are much better places . Portions hit and miss as Is the chips . Staff are nice and welcoming and prices are ok .

Great kebabs efficient friendly service

Its great having a local chippy, just ashame chips can be hit and miss . It's ok but certainly not our favourite or the best in Hereford . It's ok if your hungry and dont want to travel . Staff are friendly .

Excellent service, service with a smile

Not recommend at all As My husband and niece poisoned after there , they were buy on Friday fish and chips and chicken kebab So two of them ate that fish Both poisoned We called for an ambulance and after they took him to the hospital, he feels so weak and lose almost 10kg So be careful before buy some hind if food as you may give it to your child as well

Absolutely the worse fish and chips and battered sausage I have ever had over cooked battered sausage must of been around all day and watery fish was still swimming and revolting chips will never go to u again

We ordered fish n chips, sausage n chips and a doner kebab. Food was lovely, hot and well prepared. Will use again.

Being in lockdown for weeks on end it has been such a pleasure to be able to have a fish and chips takeaway. Telephone ordering was essential but picking up and payment was so easy. The fish and chips was so tasty and so welcomed. Thank you.

Ideal local chippy with generous portions of chips. They had the usual accompaniments; peas and curry sauce which were both nice. Fish a tiny bit over done but still really enjoyed it!

Very friend efficient team working here. Fish may have been slightly overcooked but otherwise very good.

Very over cooked chips looked like they had been hanging around for days and re-cooked the fish was swimming in grease because it had been re cooked so many times the batter didn't even contain any fish. Will definitely be going into town in future STAY AWAY TERRIBLE.

As a local chippy its great an would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Friendly staff. It would be nice if they did a slightly smaller portion at a lower price; which seams to be a common problem with chippies in this day and age!

Called here during a lunchtime. I found the staff pleasant. Prices are very reasonable with a good selection on the menu. The food was fresh and not at all greasy. I will definitely call again.

Segunda visita a esta fish and chips" después de una primera experiencia de la calidad de la comida aquí. Sin embargo, en mi segunda visita a 16:45 un jueves no era para nada organizado con varias nacionalidades incapaces de comunicarse claramente uno con el otro y obviamente todos enojarse y frustrados gritándose unos a otros. Además lo que parecía ser la enseñanza un nuevo miembro del personal al mismo tiempo.La orden que pedí estaba equivocado y cuando me señaló que pedí un pez grande no dos pequeñas,. Explicó que esto era lo mismo que uno grande, pero mirando a la diferencia en el tamaño no fue el caso. Le expliqué que no estaba contento con eso, pero mi pago excepto y me fui con una disculpa.No volveré al establecimiento de prisa!
