Unfortunately, our experience at Creams Cafe fell short of expectations. The old pistachio ice cream lacked freshness and flavour. On a brighter note, the cookie dough was a standout, clearly a popular and freshly made flavor. Despite the disappointing food, the service was commendable, with a helpful waitress brightening our visit. Regrettably, a two-star rating reflects the overall underwhelming experience

Very disappointed about crepes. I've been coming to Watford Creams for the last 2 years and this is because I used to love theirs crepes. I'm disappointed because this time the crepes that I really love them( banana and strawberry)they were very dry and without any sauce inside. They just put few drops of sauce on the outside. I went to the till and asked the guy if they have changed the recipe and he said that the management did that and he offered me some more chocolate sauce but I said no . Everything needs to be from the beginning, don't tell me that you can give me more sauce after the crepes were in front of me ready to eat them. The management should do something about this because the price of the crepes is the same and that's not fair.

This place has gone downhill. Toilets not clean. Decor is dated looks like a 1980s disco (tacky). Desserts have shrunk not worth the money won't be back.

The staff is very friendly and contact Meghana for recommendations and to receive a quality service and u can be relaxed of kids as they will be enjoying the play area. And every time u visit will enjoy the flavours. must Try nachos 😋

The staff, especially Belinda deserve a damn raise, they are such lovely people, serve with a smile, remember regular customers, truly thank you for making our experience so amazing before he went back ♥️♥️

We had a lovely interaction tonight with a girl with glasses working behind the counter. She was very kind and gave us an extra complimentary waffle as it was the end of the night. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Staff are really friendly and it's so nice to have a softplay right next to the seating so the bubs can have fun and still be in view! Cookie dough here is SO yummy! The toilets are a bit grim though and the child changing facilities need a bit of work but apart from that love taking my toddler here!

I ordered a cookie dough via Uber Eats, and it was by far the worst dessert I’ve had in my life, drenched in milk chocolate sauce. I selected the extra option… but this was flooding the cookie dough and the box. I’ll never order from here again! I could only eat a quarter of the dessert before feeling sick by the sea of milk chocolate.

Nice place to go especially with the kids, easy to enjoy a delicious waffle because of the soft play area! Definitely coming back !

Yahya provided exceptional customer service and helped me pick a very nice waffle. Despite our short interaction we were able to establish a rapport! He served us at the counter, brought our waffles and even came back to make sure all was well. I would come again just because of Yahya.

If you happen to be in Watford on your travels, visit Creams Café in the High Street. The super-friendly staff at the dessert parlour presented my family with the tastiest waffles in town. The pièce de résistance was the Halloween offering of a chilling Ghoulish Graveyard Waffle, in a devilish drizzle of strawberry and milk chocolate sauce, jelly worms and crunchy candy eyes. Take my word for it, spooks honour. YUM is the word.

Very unsanitary. When received order the plates were very dirty and the glasses as well. It looks like they haven’t washed the dishes before using them. Absolutely disgusting.

Great experience today at Creams. We were created by a lovely member of staff who was friendly and helpful throughout. We had the children’s menu cookie dough, milkshake and crepe. All were all perfect made and tasted great.

It's impossible to describe with words you must try it.

I went here with my two children as a treat. The food was tasty and portion sizes are decent (which is good as it is quite pricey). However the service was slow / absent and the toilets are very much below standard. One of the toilet doors wouldn't close at all and the lock was missing on the other. There was gunge around the base of the taps as well. It looked like someones idea of cleaning the place was just to chuck some water on the floor and leave it at that. The table wasn't brilliantly cleaned either. It wasn't at all busy but it just seems like it needs a manager that actually pays attention to these things.

To celebrate National cookie dough day, creams were giving away the red velvet cookie dough for 99p. So of course, it only made sense to try it out… Didn’t think we’d say this but we weren’t quite a ‘smart cookie’ when making that choice. Not only was the cookie dough very sugary and sickly, but it didn’t taste freshly baked either!

Whenever I visit Watford I usually pop into Creams if they are open. On 2 occasions I have had the pleasure of being served by Belinda. She is very knowledgeable about the menu items and how they should be served. Belinda is very attentive and pleasant to all customers. It is always a pleasure to see her interact with the everyone and her ability to work every station of the food counter displays her multifunctional abilities. I hope Belinda's team appreciates her as much as Creams customers do..💕

Check what you get charged for! Ordered a medium whippy ice cream in a cup that was advertised at £1.95, however was charged £2.75 instead. When I challenged the price, I was told that supposedly the woman had given me more ice-cream and it would have been in a smaller cup! What a load of rubbish. Legally they should be charging the correct amount as what corresponds on the adverts for what you order at the till. Sounds to me like a desperate way to make extra revenue! Don’t like dishonesty

Walked in on a Saturday lunchtime with my boy and it stank. The place was empty and the soft play was closed to. Nothing like the smell of rot to get you in the mood for ice cream and waffles.

One of the staff was ridiculously rude to us. My daughter wanted to use the toilet urgently and she would not allow or tell us where the toilet is. when we ask to speak to the manager there was no manager in the store. The staff were rude and argued continuously and did not apologise either. I personally believe kids should be allowed to use the toilet.

This Restaurant is very clean with excellent customer service from a very friendly staff and the best deserts you would want.

Love their cookie dough, it's what I always get so I would recommend that but in general everything is tasty with good portion sizes. Service is super super quick and everything is very reasonably priced. Love the interiors as well!

Great experience with the ice cream purchase but overall a nightmare as we were few mums with toddlers on our last visit. They have a softplay area that the kids are not allowed to use! Been shut for over a year and everytime we go in there its an absolute teaser for the kids! Its there but parents are expected to keep their kids out. Super stressful! Just let the kids play and enjoy the whole experience or get rid of it ! Its like waving ice cream infront of a kid and not allowing them to eat it. Absolutely ridicilous

Pretty Chaotic when I arrived here on a Saturday afternoon just looking for a couple of scoops to take away. The greeter didn't explain the 'process' then another server made my ice cream, but couldn't take my money and supposedly I should have paid first, but now had to wait in a long queue including people dining in with complex orders. My friend successfully bought an ice-cream from the newsagent next door before I could pay. Then I found the cone wasn't included in the advertised price for two scoops. Absolutely no sympathy or even faked apology when I suggested the pricing was misleading. What should have been a nice treat was a regrettable experience.

Stopped by because we were strolling down the road and thought that getting some gelato while walking would be a good idea. It was expensive, not great tasting, and the staff was pretty rude. I don’t know why but we were told to leave immediately after getting the gelato. It wasn’t busy or anything so we left puzzled we were talked to like that. I’d skip this place if you’re in the area.

You can tell the difference between the old and the new management. Quality and taste have decreased considerably. It was the Go To place for us on every celebration. It’s the first time we come after the change of management and certainly the last. Staff is very friendly but you can tell the new management wants to make even more money by cutting costs and quality. Very dissatisfied.

Had a Sunday evening coffee and sandae ice cream for my son (10 GBP). Great that this place works late in the evening, appreciate that. Friendly staff, tasty ice cream. Could park my car right at the street, though it was double yellow lines, everybody was parking here for cafes and restaurants.

Just popped in for an ice cream tub: Choose coconut (which was gorgeous), salted caramel & pistachio. The young lady servicing was a really credit to the cafe. Really chatty, friendly and gave me very generous scoops - My type of place! 😊 Didn't take a pic unfortunately. Definitely next time.

Great place to enjoy desserts. I ordered a oreo overload sundae, service was fast, the taste & texture was excellent. The soft serve vanilla ice cream, scoop of chocolate ice cream, wafers, oreo biscuits & sprinkled shards all made that perfect combination of a quality dessert being my favourite there. Been here a few times, other desserts there cookie dough, waffles & crepes are really lovely & nice size. Definitely would come again and again!

One of the better creams I've visited. The Freakshakes are amazing but you'll lose a star, as one of your employees is having a little hissy fit over bringing my cheesecake to me even though I said I wanted it for takeaway. Other than that it's decent experience.

Today , my friend and I were excited to go to creams to have hot chocolate but we were disappointed, we ordered two hot chocolate and for the cake I brought some cake that I made at home to surprise her but your waitress said that we could not eat something that we didn't order from you even if we ordered two hot chocolate, we really felt down , chocked and my friend told them it's our last time in creams , it is sad but your policy is not respecting our freedom or our choices .

Food was awful, no labels on any of the items to show what was vegan and what wasnt. Obviously cheap ingredients, all tasted microwaved and either covered in sugar, or bland. The milkshake was savoury, only had plain peanut butter mixed in! Would never go back, hygiene rating of 2 stars!

Rude staff. We came only because of play area, but didn’t work. We have ordered already, and our little one cry all the time. When you ask them why is not working they said “ I don’t know “. We ask for kids menu, they said we don’t have, when on the menu said that they do kids menu, and online, and again when we ask them, again they said “ I don’t know”. We spend £25 of disappointed. I don’t thing we are coming back!

So just had a delivery via deliveroo and apparently the driver only picked up one of the bags instead of two!!! Surely it's the stores responsibility to make sure the driver has ALL the bags?!? So we now have 4 desserts and absolutely nothing to go with them!!!! And when you call there's NOTHING they can do apart from blame the driver!!!! Won't be ordering again!!!!!

Food was good but i ordered from just eat and they placed the boxes vertically in the bag and the food was squashed in the box and because the box has two holes in the groove the chocolate sauce went everywhere

Absolutely Disgusting hot chocolate. Drove 6 miles in cold and rain to treat my wife. Staff needs serious training on simple stuff and follow Creams standards. Please go to Creams Becton and have a hot chocolate on me to learn how its made. Shame on you guys letting the brand down.

I was so excited to get a dessert from what was my favourite place. I ordered the hot and cold sundea (choco fudge cake with vanilla soft whip) this cost just under £10. I was not only disappointed at the amount of content for that price. It was less then 3/4 full. I was extremely disappointed at how dry the cake was too.

The ice cream and desserts here are delicious. Unfortunately, the people working here are incompetent and not very smart, since they constantly get orders wrong, and it’s almost impossible to understand what they’re saying half the same. The manager needs to hire more qualified people.

Fantastic options for yummy ice cream

The food was alright, however took 30min to arrive and after all this time we only got half of what we ordered, the ice cream was meant to be vanilla but they ran out, so without asking they just put chocolate. we also ordered still water, which they also ran out of so they proceeded to miss it out completely until we questioned this to which they just gave us sparkling water.
