Terrible Service – Over 1.5 Hours Wait and No Order! Ordered from Creams Cafe Watford via Deliveroo, and for the third time, we've waited over 1 hour 30 minutes with no sign of our order. This is completely unacceptable, especially as it was meant to be a special treat for a family celebration. Despite waiting patiently, there was no update, and trying to get a response was impossible. It’s beyond frustrating to experience this level of service repeatedly. If they can’t handle orders, they shouldn’t be on Deliveroo! Really disappointed, and after giving them multiple chances, we won’t be ordering again. Avoid if you actually want your food to arrive!

A true hidden gem. The staff is attentive and polite and the banoffee ice cream is immaculate!

Worst hot chocolate taste ever !!

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experiences at Creams. I’ve tried to redeem their “2 for £10” promotional deal twice, but each time I was denied. The first time, I was told the deal would return after January 1st, 2025. However, when I returned after this date, I was refused the offer again, despite the promotion still being advertised. To make matters worse, I reached out to Creams via email to clarify the situation, but they failed to respond. This lack of customer service and misleading advertising has left me extremely disappointed. I’ve been a loyal customer, but this experience has made me reconsider returning. Creams, if you value your customers, you need to communicate better and honor your promotions.

Horrendous. I ordered a chocolate and strawberry waffle. This should not be allowed. It is disgusting. Super sweet, tastes very synthetic. It is inedible. Threw more than half away and am now experiencing horrific tummy cramps. I'm in so much pain. This is poison not a treat. Such poor quality should be illegal.

Ordered the Ferrero rocher waffle expecting it to have at least 4/5 on the waffle like I've had before while eating in. Opened the box to find 1 single forerro rocher. Absolute shambles

Lovely. We order doughnuts in a pack of 4. Delicious, but one of the doughnuts was stale. Which was really disappointing!

I don't recommend to children beacus the iccream wasn't tasty, and the manager was rude

Tried one of their milkshakes and it was disgusting, all full of sugar, modified corn syrup and other modified food additives. Couldn't even drink it and left left rather than poison ☠ my self! It cost me nearly £6 as well. Avoid! Much nicer and natural ingredients places in Watford

I visited Watford creams with my family and it was lovely . The staff was very friendly and helpful They have small soft place for the kids and it makes it easy for parents who has small children. I would 100% recommend it

We've been there on Tuesday as school term just finished and the place was absolutely packed. Only 2 staff members on the shift and they did brilliantly. Their service was very friendly and efficient, they truly deserve some recognition for serving crowd like that so well.

Very good delivery timing but the taste is not nice I ordered the beuno waffle and it was dry and I also ordered the chocolate waffle with chocolate cake but all I got was just a waffle and some chocolate sauce over it no flakes or nothing so was dry. Never would I order that again but I give them A for delivery time

We'd had dinner elsewhere and when thinking about pudding, decided to visit Creams - not least as it was a Tuesday and their website clearly advertises a "2 for £10" special offer on Tuesdays (see photo - it's also currently still clearly advertised on their website). On arrival the place was pretty much empty, gelato freezer was half empty (and all looked quite melted) and the staff were milling about not doing much - took a couple of minutes for one to come and see us as we waited by the "wait here to be seated" sign. Having sat down and looked through the menu, on checking with a member of staff at the counter when we were ready to order, the member of staff said they don't do the Tuesday deal "other branches might do it but we don't". No apology, just a flat refusal to honour the offer they clearly advertise for the Watford branch on their website. We'd planned to buy more than just the waffles, but due to the indifferent attitude of the staff and their advertising being a work of fiction (who knows if the menu prices would actually be right?!) we went round the corner and bought waffles from Sainsbury's - where they were the advertised price. If you want surly uninterested staff, false advertising and a lacklustre experience go to Creams. If you actually want reasonable customer service and what a business advertises - go anywhere else!

The ice cream and the milkshake where good however the cookie dough was disappointing compared to others I’ve had in the area

My smoothie was tiny. Not worth the money

Ice cream is average but there is a good selection and interesting desert options Toilets need a deepclean/refurbishment. Staff are pleasant and friendly Softplay area needs repairs. No balls left in the ball pit, rips on some parts of the softplay and foam noughts and crosses tiles have gone awol. Also the toddler area seems to be permanently closed. Despite the negatives, my kids love it here and seem to have a great time playing in the dilapidated softplay area with whatever random children they bump in to there. The proximity to the library and shops makes for a good weekend outing. Just a shame as with a little extra investment it could be so much better.

Took my kids here last week. The soft play area is a nice addition. The level of service could have been better. They never had any baby high chairs either.

Zero customer service....the indian lady by the till was rolling here eyes when I asked for my ice cream to be in a cup instead if a cone...just to mention, she didn't even start to do it when I changed my mind, so she didn't had to waste anything... unfortunately she doesn't have manners....

Disappointing Experience with Undercooked Crepes I recently ordered two chocoholic crepes from Creames and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Both crepes were undercooked, making them nearly impossible to eat properly.

Unfortunately, our experience at Creams Cafe fell short of expectations. The old pistachio ice cream lacked freshness and flavour. On a brighter note, the cookie dough was a standout, clearly a popular and freshly made flavor. Despite the disappointing food, the service was commendable, with a helpful waitress brightening our visit. Regrettably, a two-star rating reflects the overall underwhelming experience

Millionaires Waffle, Oreo Doughnut and Lotus Biscoff Doughnut all are very tasty. Why have you discontinued the (Bubble Gum) Doughnut bring them back on menu.

Very disappointed about crepes. I've been coming to Watford Creams for the last 2 years and this is because I used to love theirs crepes. I'm disappointed because this time the crepes that I really love them( banana and strawberry)they were very dry and without any sauce inside. They just put few drops of sauce on the outside. I went to the till and asked the guy if they have changed the recipe and he said that the management did that and he offered me some more chocolate sauce but I said no . Everything needs to be from the beginning, don't tell me that you can give me more sauce after the crepes were in front of me ready to eat them. The management should do something about this because the price of the crepes is the same and that's not fair.

This place has gone downhill. Toilets not clean. Decor is dated looks like a 1980s disco (tacky). Desserts have shrunk not worth the money won't be back.

i payed over £21 for a cupple spoons fulls of ice cream plus exta sauce. i never received the exta sauce ither compleat rip off

Staff are just amazing at creams Watford! This review is so over due, I was visiting the restaurant with my long distance boyfriend for the last time as he’d go back to America the next day. The staff, especially Belinda deserve a damn raise, they are such lovely people, serve with a smile, remember regular customers, truly thank you for making our experience so amazing before he went back ♥️♥️

We had a lovely interaction tonight with a girl with glasses working behind the counter. She was very kind and gave us an extra complimentary waffle as it was the end of the night. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Staff are really friendly and it's so nice to have a softplay right next to the seating so the bubs can have fun and still be in view! Cookie dough here is SO yummy! The toilets are a bit grim though and the child changing facilities need a bit of work but apart from that love taking my toddler here!

I ordered a cookie dough via Uber Eats, and it was by far the worst dessert I’ve had in my life, drenched in milk chocolate sauce. I selected the extra option… but this was flooding the cookie dough and the box. I’ll never order from here again! I could only eat a quarter of the dessert before feeling sick by the sea of milk chocolate.

As a first time customer I will definitely been coming back. Had a lovely christmas vibe perfect for family and friends with new christmas items on the menu. The new manager welcomed us and provided great hospitality, great time.

Yahya provided exceptional customer service and helped me pick a very nice waffle. Despite our short interaction we were able to establish a rapport! He served us at the counter, brought our waffles and even came back to make sure all was well. I would come again just because of Yahya.

If you happen to be in Watford on your travels, visit Creams Café in the High Street. The super-friendly staff at the dessert parlour presented my family with the tastiest waffles in town. The pièce de résistance was the Halloween offering of a chilling Ghoulish Graveyard Waffle, in a devilish drizzle of strawberry and milk chocolate sauce, jelly worms and crunchy candy eyes. Take my word for it, spooks honour. YUM is the word.

Very unsanitary. When received order the plates were very dirty and the glasses as well. It looks like they haven’t washed the dishes before using them. Absolutely disgusting.

Great experience today at Creams. We were created by a lovely member of staff who was friendly and helpful throughout. We had the children’s menu cookie dough, milkshake and crepe. All were all perfect made and tasted great.

It's impossible to describe with words you must try it.

I went here with my two children as a treat. The food was tasty and portion sizes are decent (which is good as it is quite pricey). However the service was slow / absent and the toilets are very much below standard. One of the toilet doors wouldn't close at all and the lock was missing on the other. There was gunge around the base of the taps as well. It looked like someones idea of cleaning the place was just to chuck some water on the floor and leave it at that. The table wasn't brilliantly cleaned either. It wasn't at all busy but it just seems like it needs a manager that actually pays attention to these things.

To celebrate National cookie dough day, creams were giving away the red velvet cookie dough for 99p. So of course, it only made sense to try it out… Didn’t think we’d say this but we weren’t quite a ‘smart cookie’ when making that choice. Not only was the cookie dough very sugary and sickly, but it didn’t taste freshly baked either!
