As a staying guest at Heather View Leisure Park, we decided to pop down to the onsite Riverside restaurant for breakfast. Service was very welcoming upon arrival and we were pleasantly surprised by the prices, £7.90 for 2 small English breakfasts, can’t go wrong! The quality of the food was good and the venue was a nice atmosphere. They even had a dog friendly corner which our Dachshund was especially happy about! Would return again.

At last dogs are allowed in the River Bar. Dashed in only to be met with the most boring and expensive menu ever seen. What has happened to the toasties and panini's and other snacks. All they had was expensive burgers. We don't want a meal at lunchtime just a snack. The place was empty. Not surprising at all. The price of the drinks was also exorbitant. Surely a caravan site should cater for caravanners. We won't be back.

We have come here regularly from Kingfisher for Saturday lunch. Loving the new menu. Tried last weekend but just too cold outside. We have a small dog who is not allowed inside. Surely the small enclosed room at the end of the bar could be made dog friendly. Hope this can be resolved.

Food was poor quality, childrens pizza was poor quality similar to a frozen own brand, adult meals not much better, burger was rubbery and overcooked. Place was nice enough on the inside, we sat outside, tables and chairs looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while, some tables where people had finished eating and had left were not cleared the whole time we were there. Over priced and poor quality.

During our stay at the holiday park we encountered numerous problems. While the management were sorting out our problems and they give us some vouchers to have food at the on-site restaurant. So we decided that we would go down for breakfast on the Saturday. We were the only guests in the place as they had just opened again to make breakfast. We were extremely well looked after by Margaret and she was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was lovely nice and hot and plenty of tea and coffee. The only thing I would say about the place it does not look very appealing from the inside I would not would not have gone in there unless we had complimentary vouchers to use. Once again thank you Margaret for making us feel so very welcome.

Very expensive pizzas that are the cheap frozen ones you get out of Iceland. The adult cheese burger (£10) is exactly the same as the Children's cheese burger (£5) which is of a poor standard and is certainly not fresh or homemade, I'd put good money on it being frozen from a supermarket. The chips are of similar quality.

Called for a meal to take advantage of the eat in scheme. Enjoyed our meal and special thanks to Matt who met us at the door, took details and looked after us.

If you want a quiet meal and drink, don't go on a Saturday night, unless you enjoy the atmosphere of a social club! We made this mistake when we first arrived at the holiday site. However, we returned on two further occasions during our week's stay and enjoyed good (basic) food and a much quieter, more enjoyable ambiance. The 'curry night' deal was a very good offer and the staff obliged with a portion of chips in lieu of the naan bread for my husband who is a coeliac. We enjoyed a further meal from the main menu which was also tasty, hot and offered good value for money. We would have no hesitation in returning if we were visiting the area again.....just not on a Saturday night!

Came here with my mother (a home owner of the kingfisher site) looking forward to the new decor ‘renovation’ and food menu’ etc and was so disappointed with the cheapest of the cheap food!!! I’m of a small frame, not a big eater and the food portions were so minimal...I dread to think if I brought my husband who is a big eater. The menu was abismal I sat struggling for 20 minutes as nothing on there sounded tasteful. I then settled for ‘homemade’ corned beef pie with mushy peas ‘skin on’ chips and gravy....and believe me this is a dish I would never normally opt for, I was then served with I would say a 6th of plate of pie (this tiny little triangle of a portion) not skin on chips and a little pot of mushy peas. The price tag does not match this eateri....£30 with wine. I could have had a beautiful meal and a nice glass of wine elsewhere. DREADFUL!!! ps What renovation!

We ate one night out of our 3 night stay at the site. Mains were good but surprised at 730pm on a Saturday they did not have the full menu available. Service and staff were ok. Kids club was loud and when the band warmed up you could not have a conversation. Sadly when it came to desert the 3 items we ordered were all "unavailable" we settled for an alternative offered but slightly disappointed. If eating here check whats on at the door as it may affect your experience.

Very Friendly Staff and a nice Atmosphere. Very clean and tidy. But it was very Quiet during the week ( no owners ) when we stayed from 4th May for 7 nights. It was a bit more lively on a weekend, When we noticed that they really look after the Kids early in the evening, prior to the Bingo and entertainment starting. We had food on several evenings. It was all very nice and well presented, and served with a smile, But a little over priced !! Perhaps that's why its so quiet at times. Might I suggest more deals on the food, Like the 2 meals for £12.00 during the week. And possibly cheaper drinks earlier in the evening, to attract customers. The new Manager, Chef and all the Bar staff/waitresses, at the Crazy Bear were very pleasant and helpful. Many thanks to Patrick, Margaret, Stephanie, Kat, and Laura. You made our Holiday. My partner and I had lunch here on Saturday. We were the only ones in. The food was ok but the prices were ridiculously high. Surely a caravan site should have more reasonable prices to attract the caravaners no wonder it was empty.

Myself and a friend booked for the signature menu as a treat. I am no stranger to crazy bear having had my mini honey moon here after I got married, used to be a member, stayed frequently at Beaconsfield and had many meals here over the years. It used to be a classy yet quirky place with fantastic service but not any more. When we arrived we were shown to our table which was placed next to a group of women who screamed and howled for most of the night. Obviously this is not crazy bears fault but when a second group came in who were equally as loud and placed on the other side of us, we realised talking was not going to be an option as it was physically impossible to hear. The waiters were polite but it was obvious the training had gone down hill over the years. They did not know the correct way to pour drinks, forgot to tell us what the dishes were being brought out, tipped the plates so the food slipped all over the plate and ruined the visual effect. We had to call over a couple of times for drinks and in the end gave up. The waiters were very busy and were polite throughout the night but this was not the silver service we were expecting. The food was still lovely and we did enjoy our meal regarding the quality of the food, with the exception of desert which neither of us enjoyed. I am sure many people would though and believe this was just down to personal taste. Our bill was over £200 for 2 people which we were expecting but we did not feel the service warranted the price we paid. It was no better than I would have had in a nice country pub. I am bitterly disappointed and will stop recommending crazy bear to friends, family and colleagues. The food is nice but it has lost the class it once had.

Warm welcome and lovely food. My wife loved the naanza and my curry was spiced perfectly to my request. Would love to visit again but it's our last day in the area.

We went for an afternoon tea and a spa day at Raddison Blu Hotel, and as always, had been a great experience. They refurbished the restaurant, and it looks so great. The spa day was really nice, too. Shout out to the massage therapists Clare L and Janine, who were very good. Ladies, you made our day! Thank you!! ❤️
