Crave Caribbean Restaurant in Waltham Forest

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM THIS TAKEAWAY RESTAURANT! I order and not food turned up! They just took my money, without no confirmation. Plus the phone number is out of service. How can you run a business with a wrong telephone number.

The food is nice with large portions but...for some reason the delivery app Uber Eats stated the restaurant had no availability for the dishes I wanted to order and when I phoned the restaurant they said I had to order via one of two apps. I’ll look into this with the delivery company separately because the dishes were in fact available. I did tell the staff about this and I think they should have offered to check it out. Anyway was obliged to go there in person. I then found (not for the first time) that customers were not able to pay by bank card because the card payment machine had been taken out of service. Right now “cash payment only” ought to be stated clearly on the website and at the front door. I noticed other customers also expressed their dissatisfaction. This would not have been an issue except the cash machine next door was out of service so there was a trek to find another one. I’ll give them one more try, otherwise I shall probably go elsewhere in future, although there doesn’t seem to be a lot of competition nearby.

Compré pollo frito, ensalada de col y un trozo de pescado a través de deliveroo. . . La comida era absolutamente asquerosa. Pollo sin sabor y el sabor que tenía era extraño y desagradable. Definitivamente no antillano y la piel estaba empapada. . . La ensalada de col de nuevo no tenía sabor. El pescado estaba seco, pero supongo que estaba bien. El precio era decente, pero no valía la pena porque la comida era muy mala. El restaurante caribeño en Blackhorse Lane es muy superior (cualquier lugar sería mejor que este lugar). En general, una comida realmente decepcionante 3/10 no lo recomendaría. Evite este lugar.

Visité aquí algunas veces, debo admitir que la calidad y el sabor de la comida es excelente, comida recién preparada todos los días y bien presentada, los platos más famosos están disponibles para comer o para llevar, muy recomendable.
