I must say the coffee, Welshcakes and chocolate brownie were excellent. The staff were friendly. Plenty of car parking. But where was the view :(

Came here for the first time today. I came with a colleague for an informal meeting - somewhere a bit different from the office. It was ideal! Comfortable, modern, relaxing. We’ll definitely be doing this again! I had a luxury hot chocolate. It was delicious, and I found it good value for money when you compare it to places like Costa. I only wish all meetings were like this!

I went here with my mother on a Thursday afternoon. There is a good choice on the menu such as paninis, baguettes, cakes etc. We found the place to be very good value for money as we paid just over £10 for a panini, toastie and a pot of tea for two. The food was served very quickly as were the drinks and the service was great and accommodating as my mother wanted a toastie which wasn't on the menu. The seating area was comfortable, with tables, high seats or sofa's to choose from. The toilet was very clean as was the establishment as whole. I would definitely go here again.

After getting fish & chips opposite the lady advised us to go & have a drink... £2.50 a pint she said. So we went and yes it was £3.90 for a pint & a half! What amazingly great value together with a warm welcome from the barmaid. Sat outside with a glimpse of the sea. Highly recommend.

Decided to visit Llandovery on a cold and wet November weekend , popped into the Bear for lunch as it stood out amongst the towns buildings. We received a warm welcome from the staff who seated us quickly The lunch menu was varied and catered for all tastes and the food served was delicious and the portions were generous, I had the gourmet hot dog and would highly recommended A good selection of local beers were available and also locally produced spirits . The inside decor was cozy and rustic , and the seating was comfortable. I'm so glad we chose to visit as we all had a lovely lunch. Highly recommend

Read great reviews on this place, we went on a cold and windy day , it says dog friendly, but we had to sit in a small marquee around the back of the place, It was freezing in there. Ordered crepes for the 4 of us, They were cold , although can't fault the service., the weather didn't help. Great place in the summer as they had benches outside. Not great in the winter.
