No food but very friendly clientele nice beer and cider and very dog friendly which is always a plus

A traditional feel. Barstaff who really make you welcome even as a woman alone. Great parking.

Edited review. Fireworks ran later than planned and we ended up leaving. However, they were free to watch and a nice gesture. Service at the bar was good, but staff were overworked a touch for a busy evening - meaning I left after waiting too long for a pint, this was mainly down to someone ordering 629,351 drinks though!

I used to like this place because it appeared to be a local friendly pub. But, after I was offered drugs to buy I made a sharp exit and haven't been back since. Not the type of clientele you want to meet in your local.

Lovely real ale shame they dont do food even though its still advertised. Wasted time meeting my folks there for a meal. Didn't get to try food so can't comment.

It's me local! What can I say? Lol. Good old village pub. Helpful staff. Live music, lots of sport of most kinds to please everyone. Great at Xmas & new year.. Top pub! Go see. Cheers!!

This was the opening night serving food and i have to say, it was excellent and exceeded expectation. We ordered the cajun chicken, pork and chorizo burger, gammon steak and pork belly. Each dish was made with great quality and tasted fantastic! The dessert was also fantastic, chocolate brownie and home made apple crumble and custard was very nice! If i could give more than 5 stars i would!

Good village pub with a good atmosphere, friendly staff that serve you with a smile and there is minimal waiting. The pub is large with plenty of room and sky sports on TV. Food is also available.

Great place only proper pub in stanton

Came here to watch the football but was only being shown in one room which didn't have much seat or table space due to the pool table. Also because the projector was put up and not used it was sometimes hard to watch the match with people playing pool. If the other room had been used too then this may have been better. We were also overcharged for our pints.

A nice village pub with a good selection of hand pull cask beers, usually well served and well kept. Can be busy at times, and due to the very limited space around the bar it can take matters while to get served - as much as I like to.be able to prop yourself at the bar, this pub may do better to remove the stools to allow better access to getting served.

A good village pub with lounge and tap room. Sports oriented with a TV screen for the lounge. Popular with the locals. Folk music session once a month. Good selection of beers.
