Cozy Fish and Chips Kebab in Wycombe

So I left an outstanding previous review on this place but since revisiting I ordered a Kabab. Paying a hansom price, but now the owner was demanding that I pay £1.50 For a tiny chill pot of sauce they wanted me to pay £1.50 if I had peppers sorry guys I thought this was included in the price for a kebab not extra that I already had paid for also where is the lemon slice all you get is heaps of red cabbage that will soak into your half a pitta bread yes half of a pitta bread they don’t provide you with the full pitta bread. Hardly any salad What a letdown this place used to be good and its not a cheap experience. So I’m buying a tiny bread 4 pieces of meat, and then have to buy the rest of the kebab separately good luck with your business plan.

1st time using, was charged for extra chips, was looking for fish and chips and got fish and fries!!! lad behind the counter was polite, just charged me wrong. go elsewhere if wanted proper fish and chips as this is more a kebab shop. fish was ok.

Food was absolutely perfect thank you guys Kebab was delicious, fresh salad lovely meat really nice, the fish and chips were cooked perfectly excellent value for money. The place is nice and clean and very well run all the staff work very hard. and are friendly it’s nice to see someone who is passionate about their business.

Best takeaway fish and chips. Batter light and not greasy. Chips also not greasy. Highly recommend. Good value too.

Quality seems to vary but this time the staff seemed more keen to get things right, be friendly and take care. There are rival chip shops. We found too many chips were too slim and hard and we wanted slightly larger ones. Popular with pensioners as they offer special deal fish and chips and local workmen often there when we call. New staff seem better at job.

Sadly, having happily used this place lots of times this year, I've now (in November and December) found it to be not so good. All depends on who is on duty doing the frying, it seems. Fish and chips taste not pleasant sometimes. Sometimes it's OK. Some staff don't seem to care much. Always chatting among themselves and half ignore customers. Great pity. Perhaps try another place. They are a bit cheaper than elsewhere though.
