Cow & Cacao Café at Darts Farm in East Devon

Probably the best hot chocolate you will ever drink! Nice food too. We had flat breads. Service though misses the mark. Very hard to get anybody’s attention. Had to ask for cutlery and napkins and took ages to arrive. Staff are very polite and friendly but maybe they just need more staff. Would recommend.

Stopped in at Darts farm for the first time today. OMG! WHAT a place, so good! I decided to grab a coffee and quick bite. Found my way to the cafe and got seated. Just missed lunch but that was ok, I ordered a coffee and bruschetta. I admit, I'm a fussy coffee drinker, but it was bang on. And the food was simple but delicious. Just what I wanted. 100% very good food. The service? Well, it was ok. Polite and sincere, but it seemed to take an age to get anyone's attention. 4 or 5 staff but really hard to get their attention. I was looking about and making it fairly obvious I wanted to order. Felt like everyone thought I was being seen by someone else. Please take a positive comment. Just think being a little more open to seeing what people needed would help. Can't say how great the food was and I will definitely be back when I have more time to eat and relax! What a great place! Called in for breakfast before travelling home from holiday. Eggs in the oven with homemade sourdough toast was delicious. Proper tea, made with leaves, not a bag. Service good, despite the cafe being very busy. Would love to visit again!

I wanted to buy a chocolate Christmas tree but were sold out. The chocolatier couldn’t have been more helpful, said they’d make some more and one would be put aside for me to be picked up at my convenience, which it was. Thank You. It was also a great success as a gift.
