the food here is top notch for what you pay. The interior is lovely with fresh flowers on the tables and soft lighting and music in the background.... Staff extremely polite and a good way to end the day.

On our 2 night stay, we used this place both nights. Place was very comfortable, good choice of drinks & very popular bar. Menu had plenty of choice & service good. My Steak & Mushroom Pie (Pie Of The Day) was very good, my wife's Lasagne not so good. 2nd night & 'Soup Of The Day' & 'Pie Of The Day' were the same as the previous night. Maybe should be called 'Soup' & 'Pie Of The WEEK' . Still my wife enjoyed her Jacket Potato & I enjoyed my Strongbow cider.

The menu is varied and interesting. They did a Portuguese cataplana with pork and clams and also one with seafood. This is a spicy stew, delicious. The steaks were tender. The veges perfectly cooked. Lovely desserts. Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful.

Visited Courtyard Restaurant of Crown & Cushion Hotel,Chipping Norton,Oxon.,Friday last with a friend for dinner which was reserved that afternoon personally. There were two other diners in the sixty seater restaurant when we arrived at 7-45pm.Pre dinner drinks at the table were promptly served as was a good bottle of Fleurie to partake with the meal .The Pate starter was obviously shop bought and was not a la maison.I had ordered the rack of lamb pink but it was served raw and was so tough I couldn.t cut it.My friend's Portuguese Pork Stew was inedible and none of the clams had opened so thus were uncooked.A very dangerous health situation! We asked to see the Manager and was told that whilst he was available he was busy. After a long wait and a further request for the manager we decided to leave, paying the bill for what we had consumed plus a generous tip to the delightful Spanish waitress who had tried her best to rectify our complaints. On the way out past the reception desk we spotted a man who was obviously the Manager who denied the fact but then tried to defend the kitchen for serving what was potentially a health threatening dish with an arrogant and abusive tirade.I have dined there previously many years ago and have fond memories of this establishment.Shame about the present management.

We went here to get a little desert as we have been to this cafe before and saw it had quite a good range of gluten free options. They didn’t have much left in stock so we were lucky to get what we got.The gluten free cookies were delicious, tasted really fresh and like they were homemade. Also the cake was really lovely too and tasty. They clearly list the allergens of the product on the screen protector thing behind the cakes. Also tell them about any allergies when ordering.I believe their menu is 100% vegan too.The toilets were really clean too.

We loved it. Perfection location and the quintessential English pub. Outstanding food and service and the ambiance, decor is so wonderful. The highlight of our Cotswolds trip. Near to Jeremy Clarksons new pub as well so this little area is the perfect spot for a weekend spent in the pub. Well done Swan.

Been coming to the YS since 3 or so years now and the Coffee and Hot Chocolate are still smooth and excellent…coupled with the best Toasted Ham and Cheese in Oxfordshire it’s a wonderful combination. When you also consider the superb work they do in training youngsters with learning difficulties it’s truly a Cafe full of heart and soul, served by ever smiling Baristas. Can’t recommend it highly enough, money and time very well spent indeed !

First timer and the experience was five stars all the way. I had the meaty breakfast which was brilliant and fresh and loads to eat. My daughter had the avocado on toast with a beautiful poached egg. Again it was excellent. We loved the decor and vibe of the cafe too. Service was superb and it really is dog friendly too. You must visit.
