You are so missing a trick here!! This should be a thriving busy cafe. You don’t have enough staff to service the tables and they need training, just simple training in efficiency and customer care. It shouldn’t take 8 mins to order three hot drinks and two snacks. The person at the till kept repeating the order and looking at the tray then they ordered a vegan toastie in error and had to change it. We then waited 25 minutes for the toastie and it had virtually no cheese and four slivers of tomato, see pics below. The courtyard still has wasps pestering clients. You need to site a wasp feeder away from the courtyard maybe near the kitchen garden- wasps are very smart they will find it and keep away from your visitors. Improve service, increase the through put of visitors and make more money! It’s not hard.

Came to Hanbury Hall for the day and had some lunch here. The food was lovely even though it was rather expensive, however this is expected for national trust.

Lovely looking cafe with lots of seating areas. However, left disappointed with the food. Ordered the all day breakfast priced at £9.95, the food was ok but nothing special. Also, because we were sitting quite a walk from the kitchen the food was lukewarm when it arrived. Feel it would better if the food was served on piping hot plates and carried to the table on a tray rather than being carried out with bare hands.

A modern, open-plan space with fresh scones, coffee, cake, and a moderate lunch menu. Staff are friendly. Provides a good view into the original servant's area with original service bells.
