Really friendly staff, seating available inside and out. Not the cheapest - £8.55 for a piece of cake and Americano in a paper cup, this seemed expensive.

Friendly staff, lovely fruit flapjack but coffee is surely the most expensive outside of Switzerland?

Great little cafè at Ryton Pools Country park. Lots of people having lunch which all looked tasty. I enjoyed a slice of bubblegum flavoured cake which was so good!

Overpriced for 4 peoples sandwiches and a hot drink each £42 is overpriced. The food was good but service was slow considering it was quiet.

The extremely rude man behind the counter told me to take my dog outside and tie him up if I wished to continue in the que and order food or a drink. My dog is a calm, small whippet so I don’t see an issue in him standing with me as I order. Please get with the times, most places like costa, cafe Nero, coombe abbey cafe etc allow dogs inside now. This is a cafe in a popular dog walking place so expect people to have dogs! I was unable to order food or a drink as I was on my own and will not tie my dog up outside anywhere. I would like to see this man removed from public serving so to his extreme rudeness and attitude. Two other people stood behind me also committed outside after how unreasonable and rude he was and how unprofessional his behaviour was towards myself and my dog. From past experience this cafe isn’t very good for food and typically over priced but serves a purpose of supplying a hot drink on a cold day if you can get one.

Cafe is extautionate in prices and portion sizes are a joke for the price and we had to wait half hour to get a table for our drinks and cakes, also I had to clear our own table! And then we got moaned at for sitting too close to the ice cream window, why put a table there then, I was not happy about the way that they spoke to my disabled mum either! Not impressed at all. I will be making a picnic to take with us next time as at least then I can decide how much money to spend and we won't go hungry.

The food is pretty tasty but it can take a while to arrive, particularly when they are busy. I thought other reviewers were harsh about the quality, but they are right about the prices, which are definitely on the high side. Although we enjoyed what we had, we'll bring a picnic next time we visit. The ice creams are a complete rip-off though - £4 for a medium cone is at least double the going rate from an ice cream van. Clearly they are only getting away with it because of the lack of competition.

How are the council allowing this cafe to charge such ridiculous prices! The food is fairly horrific and hygiene is optional.

Fully appreciate cafe prices are more expensive these days and you can understand why, but given this place is serving no frills, low end food and drink, the prices are extraordinary. £4.95 for a piece of cake is more than you’d pay from some sort of fancy artisan bakery in the area. It does put you off spending more money. Prices aside, the chap who served us was excellent!

Probably some of the worst, yet expensive, coffee I’ve ever had. As well as tasting awful it was scalding hot, and has caused a burn injury. Cakes were alright but nothing special, but £17 for two coffees and two pieces of cake is extortionate.

Absolutely the worst place I've ever been to with really rude staff. I'm talking to you woman with the blonde hair and face that looks like a smacked behind. Never going here ever again.

Exactly what you would expect from a small cafe in a country park. We had 4 x sandwiches and they arrived within 10 mins with a small side salad and corn chips on each plate.

The cafe really needs improvement. The food is low quality and expensive, they don't have decent options for veggie and vegan. The service can be really slow. The decor and design leads a lot to be desired and the owner is a creep. There just doesn't seem to be a love for the business its just about trying to make money rather than it being a good cafe. Instead of making improvements they just ignore the problems. Some of the staff are friendly and make the best of it. It's also nice you can get ice-cream there.

For what it is we think that this is a nice little cafe serving walkers and visitors to the park. In the middle of a country park it is the best that it can be. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is good for the price. There is plenty of choice and the Cafe is clean bearing in mind the muddy boots and clothes that inevitably make their way in and out. We often use the Cafe for ourselves and with grandchildren and we appreciate it. We visited 13 April 2022 and the Manager calmly handled a somewhat unreasonable, confrontational and OTT customer. We like the Cafe and think you are doing a good job.

£6.50 for two takeaway hot chocolates, the drinks you get from a wholesaler free machine. Unbelievable! If only I knew prior to buying, will bring a task next time, Ryton pools is let down by this overpriced cafe!

Very, very expensive, £36 for four sandwiches, 3 small bottles of Coke & a cup of tea. Also, a miserable, grumpy pair of old buggers serving. The sandwiches were nothing to shout about.

Really unimpressed with this place. I ordered two cappuccinos, three small juice cartons and a pack of three bourbon biscuits and it came to £16. I know I've not been out much since Covid but this is daylight robbery. Not only this, I found the service completely lacking from very inexperienced and aloof staff. I am writing this review as I hope people see this ahead of time and bring their own drinks to save the hassle.

Very overpriced for what it is. And don't expect courtesy or a smile from owner and serving staff. 6£ for a very small kids size baked potato with beans. 3£ for a latte, usually 2.50£ in other similar places. And 6£ for a small plate of wedges with cheese. Spent 15£ and when I asked for a glass of tap water as I forgot my bottle at home and kids were thirsty I was told without much decorum by rude man at till to go around building where there was a tap of drinking water, near a bowl of water for DOGS!!!. And that they couldn't give me drinking water! Shocking. When you spend money at a restaurant or any place for that matter you can ask for drinking water. A jug or a glass. Common courtesy.

Ordered a tuna and cheese baguette that admittley was a little pricey but the young gentleman that served us was very attentive and polite and the baguette was tasty. They also provided us with hot water to warm the babies bottle.

This has to be Warwickshires most expensive cafe. Service is slow and arduous. There is a £6 minimum spend for card payments although even in a pandemic they accept cash with gloveless hands. The coffee is absolutely replusive, I'm fairly sure in a blind tasting you wouldn't be able to identify it as coffee. My advice if you visit Ryton pools is to bring a flask and your own food.

One of the worst cafés I've ever eaten in, and all I can recommend is avoiding at all costs. Was told the burgers take 25 minutes as they are freshly cooked and very thick, what arrived was a deep fried hard as nails burger with unmelted wedges of cheese stuck on either side and nearly inedible, the children's chicken nuggets do not seem to have come from any chicken, perhaps horse? and taste like cardboard. Considering we spent over £30 I am highly disappointed and cannot recommend this place in the slightest. It's hard to get everything so wrong, but they do it here. Staff are miserable and unhelpful too.

Awful coffee using powdered or long life milk ("latte" was a black coffee with lots of whitener). When I asked for some real milk a jug was shoved in front of me without a word. Caramel slice was nice, tiffin was hard and dry. Shows just how far proper cafes have come...

I have been to this chippy 3 or 4 times over the past couple of months the service is great. im normally place orders for the team i work with on a Saturday lunch for collection to take back to the office the service is quick and the food is always fresh and hot even with the order being large. The owner is very friendly and welcoming.
