Have been using coulsdon spice for the last few months after a bad experience with T raj . Would not go back now the food is extremely tasty . The service is excellent and they give some nice free touches . Highly recommend.

Their food is delicious! We always order the same things, Lamb Rogan Josh, butter chicken (which is yellow instead of orange but it’s delicious) and a lamb Jalfrazi. Always delicious and always delivered quickly. Our go to!

Fabulous food, great service, well looked after. They have BYOB, Bring your own booze. I had the grilled paneer with veg, my favourite which unfortunately can't see at many Indian restaurants, along with veggie biriyani. My partner had the lamb chops, was told it was very tasty.

A very nice Indian cuisine restaurant. Special sizzling platter is my fav.

Wonderful takeaway from Coulsdon Spice this evening. Fast delivery, friendly staff and good prices. Chicken Korma, Rice, Saag Aloo and Onion Bhajis were all excellent. Highly recommended!

I had to say about this item of their food menu - Special Sizzling Mixture of skewered diced chicken & lamb tikka, fried with plenty of fresh garlic, ginger, green chillies, coriander, peppers & onions. Excellent 👍

The food was amazing! And the staff very attentive but did not rush us despite being their last customers enjoying chatting. The meal was very good value and the beauty of this place is you can bring your own wine or beer - as they put it "they focus on the food" Which is delicious- simply excellent! I Highly recommend! First time we have ordered from Coulsdon Spice this evening. We ordered delivery and we were very pleasantly surprised by how warm the food was and how good the portions were when it arrived. The food was really tasty. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Coulsdon if not the best! We had a Chicken tikka masala and a Korma, a couple of rice, a couple of sides, poppadoms, and naan and it was all awesome. Would definitely recommend Coulsdon Spice! We will definitely get delivery and again and look to visit the actual restaurant as well!

Chicken very dry, korma sauce watery Won’t be using again

Just had a delivery. It’s the second delivery I have had and smaller portions than I have before. Tandoori mix grill was dry and rice half filled. It feels like they have got complacent with the stars!

Booked a table for 6 yesterday via website which was really easy to use..Fantastic food brilliant service and definitely value for money. Will be going back 👍

Tried a few Indian restaurants around Coulsdon, this one is by far the best we have ever had anywhere.This newly opened restaurant as far as we are concerned has nailed it. Every item we ordered was delicious, you could actually taste the different spices in the food, had our taste buds jumping for joy. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for fantastic tasting food and atmosphere, and to make life easy, they also do a takeaway and delivery service.

I went to this restaurant yesterday for dine in. The food was fresh, hot and came quickly. I tried one of there new dishes Shahi chicken tikka Naga and it had a strong flavour whilst being very tasty. I had also tried there Zal Zal chicken and chef special jalfrazy which was very nice and well. They do delivery as well and you can bring your own alcohol. I strongly recommend this restaurant for anyone

Guys we've ordered a few times and it's always been delicious. This time however you've added something to bulk out the Makhani sauce and it's horrible! Watery and tasteless. If your previous ingredients are too expensive please just charge us customers more!

Food is bland, zero spice, zero taste in fact more on sweet side. Disappointed, especially as it was our first time and for a religious occasion. Not going back.

Decided to try coulsdon spice after trying a few local places in Purley. Pleasantly surprised with our delivery of a chicken balti and chicken vindaloo. Both meals were delicious and had a good flavour. Sides were also excellent. Overall would definitely try again.

We just ordered butter chicken from this restaurant - filled with coconut, not an ingredient that should ever be in butter chicken! The chicken itself was not grilled and looked like it was from a packet. Also far too much sugar - overall, very disappointing.

This was my first order from Coulsdon Spice in the endless quest for a decent local curry, and I'm glad I took the chance! The service was courteous, delivery was prompt so the food arrived hot, they went out of their way to replace a dish they couldn't provide (due to high demand) and the food itself was good value and delicious! I'm very glad I tried them and will be ordering from them again. My first takeaway curry in about three years that wasn't disappointing! Thanks!

Yeah proper nice taste had the zal zal chicken beautiful flavours and spice. Fiance had the tandoori chicken Dopiaza which was amazing. Even the pilau mushroom rice was fab. Highly recommend the place. Lovely staff.

We arrived back from a lovely day out and wanted to finish it off with something to eat, we chose the Coulsdon Spice and could have been made to feel any more welcome and presented us with amazing food, the restaurant is very clean with great furnishings and a lovely ambience, we will be back Thank you Coulsdon Spice

The restaurant is beautifully done up and the food is amazing, everyone is really friendly and you can bring your own alchol which is a bonus. I really recommend.

We moved to Kenley about a year ago and have been trying different places for take aways since then but unfortunately nothing really sold us on ordering from them long term… until this restaurant. We ordered from here because the reviews were good and the delivery time wasn’t over an hour unlike a lot of the other places. I ordered the chicken tikka biryani and my partner ordered chicken tikka korai with special fried rice. The food was so tasty with well balanced flavours. The best I have had so far in our new area. This is now our new regular Indian place.

We'd visited the nearby Mayfield Lavender farm and fancied a spot of dinner. Coulsdon spice was the most highly rated curry in the area on Google, and from this experience we can see why. They offer a great range of traditional and house special curries. We had a King Prawn Madras, which was a nice and hot, rich sauce with succulent, massive prawns. Chicken Jalfrezi which arrived on a sizzling plate, less sauce than your usual, but delicious flavours on show with the great taste of grilled meats and veg. Finally a Chicken Tikka Masala, which was hugely flavourful, and a came in a really vibrant red colour, unlike the usual orange, plain offerings. The naans were cooked fresh on site and were absolutely delicious, as was the cauliflower bhaji and chicken tikka starter. Service was quick and friendly. Everything was reasonably priced. We didn't drink any alcohol, but just a heads up that it's BYOB. There's an off license just next door should you want a drink. Really couldn't recommend this restaurant enough, a hidden gem.

Best Indian takeaway, we won't order anywhere else. Particularly favs are the garlic chilli chicken and the aubergine with potatoes 😍

Lovely welcoming local Indian restaurant. Bangla cooking is my fave! Everything from the starter to the last crumbs on the plate! The spicy dishes are SPICY... But they're soooo yummy and fresh! I highly recommend the paneer starter. Don't forget to bring your own booze.!

Absolutely delicious!! I can honestly say it was the best Indian meal I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve tried ALOT of different places!) Very fresh and authentic tasting. Every dish we ordered, we loved! Plus the staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. I would highly recommend for both eat-in meals and takeaways!

Had takeaway tonight for the first time from Coulsdon Spice. We really enjoyed it. The curries were tasty and fresh, so were the veggies and the naans were really good too. Not only this but I ordered on their site and delivery was timed to the exact minute predicted. Thanks so much, we'll definitely be back!

Waited 2 hours for a delivery. 2 hours. Being told every single time we called that it would be 10 minutes. Lied too 3 times and then hung up on. Don't go near this place. Edit: And then yet another lie in your response. I was told the delay was down to staff shortages, Eid, being super busy.. never anything about technical faults. Just be honest with your customers and compensate when things go wrong, it's really not hard.

The most authentic curry in Coulsdon, super nice owners and awesome service. We ordered babab chicken and lamb jalfrezi, poppadoms, garlic naan, and pilau rice. Restaurant is new and really clean, kitchen staff also v welcoming which is an added bonus. For those who want a drink, it's BYOB.

Amazing Indian Cuisine in the Local Neighborhood. I was here to Celebrate my Birthday and had Great Service from the Team. I had Poppadom, Onion Bhaji, Lamb Korma and Special Fried Rice along with Peshwari Naan. All of it was Tasty 😋.... Just as it should be! Just finished my food and I must say this is by far the best Indian food I have tasted in a long time I ordered the chefs special zal zal chicken and it was amazing definitely a big reccomend if your a fan of medium to hot spice but everything to my meal was divine. And props to your delivery staff what a lovely bloke top marks Coulsdon spice we will definitely back!!!

Had several lovely meals from here now. When dining in staff are friendly and helpful. Our take away tonight was beautiful. Large tender cuts of meat, spicy but still flavourful dishes. I always used to get the same thing every time I got a curry, first time here I spoke with the chef for his recommendations and now they are my new go to! I was not a huge fan of the previous take away, but these guys, since they took over, have make it easy to support local business.

Had our first take away from this new restaurant tonight. Really good food had the garlic chilli lamb quite a delicate blend of spices with enough chilli to give it the punch I like Rice and sides were good too. Great value will be going back

Ordered with just eat and it came fairly quickly. We tried something new and regardless of how spicy it was, the good tasted so amazing. They were also so kind and gave us a free poppadom and some amazing chutney. Would highly recommend for a meal
