The food is delicious. You must order or collect early as it gets really busy from around 6. We ordered from just eat and they except our order but then suddenly after 45 minutes cancel the order. Try calling bk to find out what had happened, but thereno answer. So, I ended up driving there to a place orderer. The line was 8 ppl before me and around a 20/30 minute wait. But it was worth the wait and all that madness. Just to get fish and chip.

I went into Costas shop today at 8.35pm. I was in the queue, where there was three people ahead of me, I politely asked the guy behind the fish counter is it ok if I have two leg pieces when I place my order. This oh so wonderful man in his scruffy work clothes and blue ish baseball hat and santa clause beard replied, the order counter is over there not here ok ! I was like 'Wow' what a great way to talk to customers. I didn't hesitate to leave, I thought it best to share with you out there who may go into Costas tonight to buy your food. Honestly I think it must have been this chappy time of the month. I'm sure there's better places to eat from than Costas fish and chip shop. ,

Good kebabs and chips, but not enough salad choice for kebabs. Very expensive for what you get too, so not the best value. It's the nearest proper chippy and kebab shop to us, so I recommend it for regular use.

Best fish and chips in the area. The fish and chips are cooked crisp and relatively not greasy compared to other shops.

Lovely friendly staff. Food was delicious, and do a proper curry sauce. 10/10, will come again!

Very excellent customer service

The food not cooked properly,I ordered 6 Chicken Wings and a postion of chips. In the past when it was with previous owners it was well cooked now it run by new owners I would not recommend going there go somewhere else.

Tonight we ordered chicken doner kebab. Instead we got lamb kebab. None of us at home like lamb so we wasted our money again. This isn't the first time he got our order wrong. Unfortunately, we will never go back there

We are a regular customer, today we had a discount of f7, in return we got cold fries, cold chicken, a hamburger without the top of the bun and a kebab that cost f11 the size of a strip burger. I'm attaching a photo of the burger

Served my unsuspecting teenage son a stale, minuscule portion of chips. Should’ve taken a photo but threw it away.

Been coming here for 20+ years and always amazing food and service. The fish and chips are great. The star of the show are the chicken wings. After trying every chicken shop in the area nothing beats a portion of wings from this place. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Always full of energy and playful banter.

I’d heard about this well established place and decided to give it a try. In my opinion, Fish should be Steam cooked in crispy batter and chips should be crispy on the outside but fluffy in the inside. I ate here at lunchtime, it’s pretty much a take away only, however there are a few stools available. The cod was of good quality, as expected, and the chips were wonderful. Also, compared to others, was good value for money. Definitely recommended.

Chicken was under cooked and too much oil unlike other times . I can see the inside of checken breast is not cooked and clearly see blood. Its been always best Chicken in the area but lately in my opinion becoming little out of track.

TT food! Good value for money, they get a 5 star because they started accepting card payments instead of cash which used to be a inconvenience.

Service was quick, staff a polite. Large chips was a lot more than expected! The a batter on the fish was quite thin and bit disappointing.

I ordered cod and not only did we wait a long time - the fish was old, stinking and unfit to eat. I do not recommend it at all. A year ago there was a very tasty one of the best in London but now I regret not recommend it.

Excellent chips and usually very generous portions.

Highlights: UberEats - 50% off code. Mushy Peas - Best part of the meal. Hot and good texture. Curry Sauce - Extremely runny. No thickness at all, watery. Chip - Soft and possibly slightly undercooked? Fish - Crunchy batter and a tad oily; in my opinion the fish was flaky and looked ok but was cold. Disappointing. .

I have been coming to Costa's for many years. As someone who is known to eat chips with chips, I feel (without getting over-confident) I know a thing or two about chips. Costa's is by far the best place in the country for fish and chips . Ans portions are absolutely massive - Thanks Costa's

Fresh fish and chips at its best. Great staff who always serve you with a smile. Would highly recommend coming here any day of the week. Been coming here for years and even the kids enjoy the food. Excellent customer service with fresh tasty food. Keep up the good work.

Not very good experience, ordered our food and waited outside whilst countless people went in without masks and lingered about even though it states only 1 person allowed in at a time WITH a mask, no one except me wore a mask. No wonder London`s struggling with covid!!

Avoid if possible. This place used to be really good, but it's slowly gone down hill and is now just terrible. Generally poor quality fish - really dry and difficult to eat. Service is terrible - staff are really unhelpful and rude (once I had a missing part of my order and the guy working (who told me he was in charge) wouldn't replace the missing item). *Most importantly* - the hygiene in this place is terrible. According to the government food hygiene service their rating is only "2/5 - improvement necessary" (check on their website". I had fish from their last week and was sick all the next day. Go elsewhere if possible, a shame as they used to be much better...

It's nothing special I have been here 5 times, service is quick but no quality, if I spend £7 on a meal I expect it to taste good, food is never fresh ,and the shop is way too small

Worst Fish&Chips ever. I had a stomach problem.!

Ordered haddock & chips on Saturday (31 Oct) with Deliveroo and it was not up to standard. Batter on haddock was stuck to paper and not battered/cooked enough, chips not nice. Shame really as this is not the 1st time ordered from Costas. What went wrong Costas? I've ordered fish & chips thru Deliveroo from Costas before and it was great!! Truly disappointed☹

Its good, but I didnt see any fish

Food is nice but staff is extremaly rude laughing and speaking each other in polish (I’m also polish but this dosent look good at all)better not ask them about nothing cose this annoying them so I’m definitely not came back for me this is unacceptable

Went here last night and waited to order. The girl was wrapping orders and laughing and joking to someone out back for over 2 minutes without even looking up at me. There was no one else in the shop, not even a glace to say "I won't be a sec". Ended up riding upto The Cod Fater in Oldfield circus who are always welcoming.

A good take away for fish &chips, kebab, spare rib. Freshly made food. This place is a little far from hour house, but we still go there for fish&chips.

Delicious and filling food. Ordered from here many times. The chips can sometimes be a hit or miss but it’s always great overall.

This place is brilliant however I would suggest going there personally instead of ordering thru UberEats or Deliveroo...I have read some horror stories about those food couriers and will never trust them to handle my food especially at the height of the pandemic...

Quality and taste is consistent

Food was the worst I have ever seen. Not only was it cold but they had poured so much sauce on it, it looked like soup. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told no and that, the next time I ordered I would have to put in not too much sauce. What is worse is that the sauces they had put on was not the ones I ordered. Ordered here a couple time before but won't be doing that again. If you do order just make sure you don't ask for any sauce.

The fish and chips are legendary, you are always greeted with a smile. The food speaks volumes just see the queues of eager customers waiting to get served.

The owner refunded the money for the burnt fish n chips as a goodwill gesture which I was happy to except.

Very disappointed standard's have dropped remarkable since the owner change chips are terrible the chicken OK fish is greasy, the customer service can be better there's drunk polish men in there most of the time talking in polish to staff it's appalling and not very welcoming to think this was once the best chip shop in Ealing, I now go to the CATCH FISH N CHIP SHOP which is in sudbury Hill and are the previous owners of costas fish bar 👍👍

Agree and disagree with some of the reviews.. somtimes the chips are soggy and under... sometimes the chicken is out of the park flavour wise you cant compare to others but sometimes its so poor and overcooked!! Oh and sometimes you get hardly any chips with the wings!! Tend to get more in the 6 wings and a scoop opposed to 8 wings and reg chips? Just depends on who is serving you... been going here now for 20 odd years and slowly the standard is falling... i say that although sometines they do taste so good.. so again depends on the person making them!

It takes a lot to impress me and I don't usually do reviews because, well no one is paying me for it. But there is excellent customer service from the staff. They are so nice and polite. The chicken is really the best. I will really recommend the place and the chicken.

Used to be very good but standard have dropped majorly. When Mr Costa owned shop was great but since then has gone down hill. I have loved in the area for years and have stopped going because of the food. Recently went again to try out, chips come soggy and like mush chicken flavour just is not the same as once was wont be return and would rather drive 20/30mins to go to a chip shop.

This food at this shop used to be lovely but has gone downhill since Costas the previous owner moved.The chips are nowhere near as good and recently I was a vegetable patty which was burnt to a crisp all the way through.Despite an apology from the owner,I wont be going back there

This is ;my local fish and chip shop, and its good. The Fish is fresh and tasty the chips are also fresh and just like we like them.The Spicy chicken a nice, and well cooked, All in all a traditional fish and chip shop, that is amongst the best in the area !

Ordered via Uber eats. 2 kebabs, 1 chicken and chips, 1 savaloy, 3 cans, 1 portion of chips which was £30.00. Made a special request that the garlic sauce was put in a pot and not on the kebab as I know they go crazy on the garlic sauce...... well they obviously didn’t read my special request and plastered our kebabs in garlic sauce. It was covered in and inedible. The 2 kebabs went in the bin. Why would you even put that amount on any kebab!!!

Delicious food. Good location of the shop, car park available on the kerb side, unfortunately no toilet. Wheelchairs people are welcome as well the shop is wide and if you want to eat in they have few seats. The staff are working hard to delivery the food faster.

Best place for a doner in town!

Costa's is my family's favourite fish and chip shop, we are regulars. The service is great, the food is fantastic! I've only ever had to make one complaint in 4 years of going to Costa's, the problem was sorted out promptly, management was fantastic at putting things right and I've never had a problem since. The food is consistently great and portions are generous! Highly recommended.

Does what it says on the window the best chip shop in ealing although I would say London. Go for the ribs massive and tasty as is the fish with a crispy batter
