Ali's Berlin Doner in Ealing

I‘m n original Berliner and the Ali‘s Döner truly reminded me of home, it was nice to have taste of home in London! Def go again

Honestly, it's been a year since I've lived in London and I've not found a place that makes such good shawarmas in so so long. I'm so glad I came here one random day to order, it's now become my go to place

This is the best kebab I've eaten in my life and I can only recommend the very nice staff

Best chicken kebab I’ve ever had

Meat is very tasty, lovely texture, not too greasy. Salad is fresh. Chips were a little bit dry but passable as a side, good sauce to go with everything. Portion just right and fair for London price. Friendly owners. Easy location by station. They let our baby try the beef and chicken and he loved it.

Best kebabs I’ve ever had. A revelation!

After a long day in town we came back to Ealing to stop here for our takeaway dinner. Our expectations were high as we are used to the real German Doner. My boys had huge appetite and ordered a Beef DonerBox, my husband opted for a Beef Doner Sandwich. They liked it a lot, all fresh and delicious and a good amount of food. I had the Veg Doner Sandwich with crispy Turkish bread filled with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onions and grilled courgettes, aubergine and red, green and yellow peppers. The garlic sauce was yummy. I wanted to deduct one point because of the cash only policy and not accepting creditcards but the food deserves 5 points👍My husband needed to find a cash machine after ordering our food and the one opposite the restaurant was not working. Thumbs up and hopefully until next time.

The owner should go to Berlin and eat kebab in few places. The quality now is 1% same as in Berlin.

Been going here with my husband since it opened. Still hands down the best kebab!! The bread is amazing, the sauces just perfect, lovely fresh salad, and the meat is full of flavour! Really friendly customer service! We moved from London to the isle Wight in 2019 but whenever we come back to visit family we never miss an opportunity to come back here! Some food just makes the world a better place

I quite liked the flavour of the kebab portion size was very generous. The Turkish bread was fresh everything was on point. I think it is better than other German diner kebabs in the uk

*cash only* wanted to try today but they unfortunately only take cash so had to order via Uber eats. Great Döner (I’m German and very picky!), don’t agree with previous comments that there’s not enough meat, there was more than usual and I’ll actually make a note next time that I want more salad. Extremely generous portions and great quality meat!

Absolutely amazing food and wonderful people. Definitely best kebab in London, most likely all of the UK. Service was amazing and they let me sit and eat with my dog outside (who also loved the food!!) while my phone needed to be charged and they let me charge it inside. Late night at Ealing and the only place with such welcoming warm atmosphere!

Worst kebab I ever had in my life.. Avoid please.

Can anyone tell me which governing body awarded this establishment the award that is cited on the banner in the shop window? The beef was described as "beef steak" by the person behind the counter (who I am guessing was Ali). I was chewing on some tough parts of the beef that were white. The chicken seemed to be a lot of chicken skin. The mixed vegetables were fried instead of grilled. The chips were full of oil, which indicates that they were fried for too long or reheated. The sauces were variations of mayonnaise. Perhaps my standards are too high, but this is West London.

I go there regularly. Ali is always nice, the food portion is always generous, and the kebab isn't processed meat, it's some fantastic stuff.

I can really say that is the best Doner in London. I tried multiple places till now but this one is the best. Meat is tasty , not greasy and very tender. Fresh salads and nice sauce. Definitely recommend!!!

Bad dry doner kebab. I threw up after eating them Don’t fall for overrated reviews . Owner is rude and he yells at customers. They take cash only. They would rip you off with money exchange. 2 customers walked away as he wanted to charge extra for empty cups for drinks

I bought beef donner kebab today , oh wow disgusting, the meat was so old and too salty, I think they add too much salt so they can store the meat so much longer, I had some bites after 3 hours still not digesting . 🤢I just hope I don’t get food poisoning.Horrible.avoid.

Do you like Garlic or Chill sauce? Don't go here then. They give a salad cream sauce like they do in Iranian restaurants. Yes, you read it right. Instead of Garlic.sauce they give you salad cream. The chilli sauce was like a spicy tomato sauce. All very strange and never have I had a kebab like this anywhere. Garlic and chilli sauce is one of the pillars of good kebab which this place fails MISERABLY.

Came in for myself and my partner and was greeted nicely as usual but asked if they could put the bread separate in a box with the meat on the side as the bread gets very soggy and falls apart when eating. This hasn’t been an issue in the past but became one yesterday. I thought they were joking because they were smiling and laughing, I’ve done this multiple times. They said no as it’s not apart of the menu but I was not asking for any extra meat or salad. Very disappointed as I felt they were being unfair because they didn’t give me an actual reason which made sense. Not happy about this service

Best Doner Kebab shop in London that I have tried so far. Staff are very welcoming and hardworking. Prices are honest for the portions they give. Chicken Doner is very tasty and tastes like a Doner and not a Shawerma. I am a loyal customer now and always happy when visiting. Keep up the quality and good work.

Finally a kebab shop that ACTUALLY serves Berlin/German style Döner Kebab. Been trying numerous kebabs across London over the 10 years I've been in London, but regardless of any Berlin/German tags all these kebab shops are trying to market themselves with, this is the first place I encountered that actually lives up to the standard. Shall definitely return whenever in Ealing or desperate for a taste of home - only requests: can you add mayo to your condiments for the chips and maybe add, not very kebab shop like admittedly, the other Berlin original to your menu too - Currywurst? 😅

This unassuming Doner takeaway is simply the best! The Meat is great, the salad filling fresh and crunchy and the sauces out of this world and freshly made to Ali's own recepy!!!

As a Berlin born, and raised, and after having devoured many Döner in Berlin, I can really recommend this place. The owner is a great guy and the food took me back home.

Disgusting! Just ordered off of Uber eats and the food came which was inedible! The meat was pure fat which I spat out, felt like I had a mouth full of jelly. The salad was wet and juice was all over the chips making them horrible and soft, I feel quite sick! Won’t be ordering from here again. For the price of one meal, to give that to customers is disgraceful.

Just waste of money and never order again from them. My order supposed to be a large chicken doner but when it was arrived only was a small portion chicken ( it didn’t look doner cut at all ) with old saggy small salad beside , tasteless chicken. Try real Turkish doner !

Prob worst kebab I had I want to post a picture to show , ordered donner meat n chips what arrived was chicken but very dark chicken almost brown!!!! Got full refund as I complained to Deliveroo

You get a choice of beef donner, chicken donner and mixed donner or a falafel on the menu. The large portion needs to be a bit larger. The taste was nice but not worthy of the award it holds highly outside the shop. There is potential here but its missed unfortunately I rate it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Amazing place best chicken doner I ever had london. Garlic mayonese is homemade, fresh vegetables , French fries and soft drinks are served with the menu. Very good price quality and service.

I would not call that kebab. It was a load of sauce on bread with some sprinkles of meat. False advertising!

I am not sure what to say exactly. The portions are good. The price, extremely high, unless you get a meal deal of £8 that is only available on weekdays I think. I didn't personally like the taste, the sauce is too sweet. The meat is hard, not juicy. This is my personal opinion, so anyone that wants to try, might as well love it. I wouldn't go there again, since it is is way too expensive for a doner that I didn't like the taste of.

Ali’s doner is insanely good! Had the the vegan falafel kebab and it was absolutely unbelievable. The staff were fantastic as well! 5* all the way.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THIS PLACE IS THE WORST DONER KEBAB IN ALL OF WEST LONDON. THE SING OUTSIDE IS OLD AND A BLANT LIE!!! The food is greasy and tastless and they put as little into each order as they can get away with. The sauces are all bland and they throw as much on your order just to try and mask the fact the meat is so bad. Apart from all the above it is WAY OVER PRICED for what it is. Do yourself and your taste buds a BIG favour and go anywhere but here. So bad I had to leave a review just to warn others off from making the same mistake I made. AVOID AND GO TO ANY OTHER DONER HOUSE.

I first went there 2 years ago and was very bad food, uncooked and expensive. I went there again tonight and paid about £23 for 2 boxes and 1 sandwiches but again was rubbish. I never go back there.

Beautiful restaurant with very delicious doner meat was very impressed, definitely lives up to the hype. Doner meat was juicy and tender, very flavoursome, whist chips were crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside. Went there after searching for best kebab in West London and reading reviews, disappointed, staff friendly, nice salad, but hardly any meat. When cutting up chicken was taking out fat , but still kebab had too much fat.

Ali’s was a very good place before they moved to the new premises. The owner was nice and zealous about quality and service. Now, this place is run by rude staff and there is nothing that will leave a good impression about the food. Once again, I told myself I will give them another chance but disappointed as always. I ordered a diner and the guy who served me did not even bothered to be polite or friendly, he takes to me standing back to me and at no moment I felt that my £8.00 were worth to be spent here. The guy did not said thanks, have a good evening or even some basic polite phrases. The food was cold, very ordinary and the portion impressively small. Never again
