wrapping I side plastic bag caused the batter to soften, ruining the fish. chips were not crisp either. Codfather is normally very good.

Never got our food and was told he was a new driver , this out of order and you won't refund my money back

Old school place. Abit over priced. But good and generous portions. Not very inviting unless u want a takeaway. The chips were trad - and i rate them.

Unfortunately this was the worst piece of fish bought from here. Completely dry and overcooked with batter that was brittle where it was so overcooked. Really sad as I travel from North London as the fish and chips has previously always been 10/10. Today 3/10 and that is being generous 🤔

Ordered food yesterday and my rear end has been beat boxing ever since. Chips were actually really good, however thought the sausage meat tasted off. I carried on eating it because my mother didn’t raise a quitter but Christ alive today I wished she had. Avoid the squits and stick to the chips.

Quite possibly the worst fish and chips I've ever had. Doused in oil completely conjealed and inedible, expensive for tiny portion which couldn't face consuming. Staff looked miserable and the guy who appeared to own it seemed to be bullying them and talking to them like idiots. Avoid avoid avoid like the plague! *edit.. amazing response.. thanks for the sarcasm, obviously fish and chips are made with oil but having tried countless other fish and chips in life I can assure you you're doing it wrong. It should not be a mush of shiny goo when you open the packet! As for your attitude I can only hope your staff take it with a pinch of salt as no one should be spoken to in such a manner and the atmosphere was not a happy one from an outsiders observation! Your response is the complete opposite of good customer service.

Called in an order for collection at 7pm on a Sunday (7 fish, 3 chips) and was told they would be ready in 10-15 minutes. Arrived after 15 and was told it would be 10-15 more.. after 45 minutes they had prepared 2 fish and served countless uber drivers. Almost an hour now and still waiting. Beware. 😡

Every thing came cold not happy threw it in the bin

Where do I start with this abomination of a British classic! The fish was mushy! The batter was greasy flabby and horrible! The sausage in batter tasted like it had been cooked the day before and just reheated as the batter had the texture of chewy rubber and the savaloy was like no savaloy I’ve had! Mushy texture and absolutely no flavour whatsoever,it was like eating water! Makes me sad when these businesses mug us off with such cheap un passionate food! Especially when paying a premium! No!

Undercooked sausage and the masala fish was served without all the bits, as per the menu. Staff didn't have a clue. Awful. Awful. I wasn't rude, I was annoyed because you failed to deliver the right order but made no attempt to fix it, listen to the call. As for another being welcome to another chippy, great attitude. If you're in charge, it explains why your team don't know how to deliver good customer service. Well done. Here's a picture of the raw sausage you sent me.

previously this place was nice just spent 15 pounds for chicken shish and lamb doner chips. This is insulting. This place needs to be shut down. Oily hard bits of lamb doner and dry chicken shish only 3. No respect for human beings hard earned money

Always excellent service and and staff are really friendly. As it's all freshly cooked you have to wait few extra minutes but it's worth it as the food is piping hot and huge portion of chips. Curry sauce is really tasty, always get an extra portion.

fish flesh was not very white, almost grey and obviously not as fresh as it should be ..confirmed later in the day!!! Sadly this the last time I order from here.

Entré a comprar unas patatas fritas, pero mi único odio es cuando te sirven patatas fritas que han estado sentadas durante siglos son lo suficientemente difíciles como para romper un diente y mucho menos saber a cartón .. muy decepcionante y ciertamente no volverá a por patatas fritas rancias. extremely rude manager lady who did not listen to my complaints rather spoke over me and was very rude

I went to this shop today at approx 2:50pm There was one customer there complaining about having waited 40 mins for his food The lady took my order i paid her but my burgers weren’t even put onto the grill 5 mins later I asked when my burgers would be put on to cook I was told I had to wait but there was no one cooking There was one guy round the back of the shop banging something after 10 mins he walked in put my burgers on and I waited another 15 mins for them There was just me and the other customer both being told to wait we both told her we shouldn’t have to wait that long and she told both of us next time not to come into her shop if we didn’t want to wait there was no apology whatsoever from her and we both stood there not believing what she had said to us her attitude toward us both was disgraceful so I decided to leave this review tonight as I don’t want another customer to have this problem I will never go back there and the other customer told me he won’t go back their either her behaviour was unaccceptable

Appalling. Ordered fish and , i thought chips at a cost of £12.95 and as the picture shows. Also ordered other items. Total cost of over £23. Bit shocked when it arrived and didn’t even have one chip. So disappointed and even though what we received was tasty I would never order from here again - who orders from a fish and chip shop and doesn’t get chips as part of the deal.

Spent £11 on cod bites and chips, and received what looked like a kids meal. I’ve ordered from cod father before and my experience was a lot better then.

Went for the first time recently. The service was pleasant but not very fast. It was a bank holiday & half a dozen Uber drivers were dealt with first. Had the cod & chips lovely portion size both freshly made, a little greasy but overall very good.

Great Chips but the batter on the sausage was really dry and brittle came off. Felt like sausage had been left in Fryer too long as sausage was rock hard. Hadn't ordered for a while so wanted it give them another chance. Won't be ordering again

Purchased two 2pc fish n chips paid extra for no tail..when i got it home..the fish was burnt overcooked and missing batter..the chips are now cut smaller..cold greasy soggy crap..i called back and informed the woman of this..i went for a replacement..the woman passed ot toe upon entering and wished me LUCK..i said that i shouldnt need luck for $50..when i got that home it was also crap..i called back and the woman was not friendly and hung up on me after getting my info..waiting for the owner to respond..theres areason why the lot is always empty

the food is always great from here. however, they should think about using paper bags to deliver in as the paper sweats in the plastic bag and gets stuck to the chips. I've spent the last 10 minutes trying to get as much of the paper off as I can.

Ordered a large cod and chips for myself and chicken shish and chips for the husband and we were sorely disappointed. The chicken was cooked with tikka seasoning and was spicy, not what we wanted. The fish was absolutely vile, wrapped in paper along with the chips and was wrapped so tightly, by the time we received it, it was just one big, soggy mess. I couldnt eat it in the end, but the dog had an amazing fish dinner. Never again.

As tourists, we ordered fish and chips there. The food tasted really good and for £7 you get a drink and "mini" fish and chips, which isn't that small! We've comfortably had enough of it. Our kids had a cheeseburger and were happy with it.

Long wait even when not particularly busy, clearly under-staffed. They’ve taken out all the chairs and tables which isn’t a very good idea when you have to wait 20 mins for a simple order. Having said that the quality of the food is not bad and very generous portions - fish is quite good, chips are decent.

What an absolute shocker. Battered Mars Bar missing. There’s never an excuse to have items missing. Fish was wrapped in paper, not in a box, the batter was soggy. Chips stuck to the paper and the gravy was poor. Total letdown. Very disappointing.

Unlike a previous good order the most recent one was a Deliveroo order was a bad one! The haddock was small overly battered the chips were clumped together and so very expensive-a most unsatisfactory order. Disgraceful order.

Lamb donner was truly horrible, dry and tasteless.

The fish and chips were bad. Everyone in our family has had an upset stomach since we had their food last night. The fish was soaked in oil when it was wrapped, with pretty much no flavor. The chips were soggy and very soft. The kebab was below average.

Food arrived after 45 mins of time originally die. Food was cold and they forgot our ordered sauces. I contacted the restaurant who were very unhelpful who blamed the driver not turning up. Not happy.

First time there and I must say one should try their chicken sheesh and large battered cod. My traditional chippy now 👍 keep up the great work.

Food was OK put it was late I ordered for 1pm did not turn up till 1.30pm so my lunch was over not good
