Not great. undercooked and missing ingredients. rang the restaurant and they hung up, then said sorry and will offer a free sausage on the next order!

I ordered twice in one night from the same place and both occasions didn’t receive my food even though it said it was delivered

driver went to wrong address even though it was different to what was on the docket

fish flesh was not very white, almost grey and obviously not as fresh as it should be ..confirmed later in the day!!! Sadly this the last time I order from here.

Desastre total, nunca más. Pedí dos kebabs con un amigo y esperé más de 20 minutos. Pensé que después de una espera tan larga la carne estaría fresca, pero me equivoqué, definitivamente no lo estaba. No recomendaría este lugar a nadie

Entré a comprar unas patatas fritas, pero mi único odio es cuando te sirven patatas fritas que han estado sentadas durante siglos son lo suficientemente difíciles como para romper un diente y mucho menos saber a cartón .. muy decepcionante y ciertamente no volverá a por patatas fritas rancias. Tbf es este lugar incluso sanitario

extremely rude manager lady who did not listen to my complaints rather spoke over me and was very rude

I went to this shop today at approx 2:50pm There was one customer there complaining about having waited 40 mins for his food The lady took my order i paid her but my burgers weren’t even put onto the grill 5 mins later I asked when my burgers would be put on to cook I was told I had to wait but there was no one cooking There was one guy round the back of the shop banging something after 10 mins he walked in put my burgers on and I waited another 15 mins for them There was just me and the other customer both being told to wait we both told her we shouldn’t have to wait that long and she told both of us next time not to come into her shop if we didn’t want to wait there was no apology whatsoever from her and we both stood there not believing what she had said to us her attitude toward us both was disgraceful so I decided to leave this review tonight as I don’t want another customer to have this problem I will never go back there and the other customer told me he won’t go back their either her behaviour was unaccceptable

Fish and spring roll very undercooked…..Rock was gunky and was thrown in the bin l.

Appalling. Ordered fish and , i thought chips at a cost of £12.95 and as the picture shows. Also ordered other items. Total cost of over £23. Bit shocked when it arrived and didn’t even have one chip. So disappointed and even though what we received was tasty I would never order from here again - who orders from a fish and chip shop and doesn’t get chips as part of the deal.

Spent £11 on cod bites and chips, and received what looked like a kids meal. I’ve ordered from cod father before and my experience was a lot better then.

Best of the best. Ordered on Uber eats a few times now and always good quality. If you call them they are very nice and listen to your special request. Chips are lovely like traditional chips and kebabs are really nice. This is slightly far from me but still happy when the food arrives.

Did not receive my order waiting for my money back can’t call them goes to voicemail teef don’t use them I will not be using them again

Went for the first time recently. The service was pleasant but not very fast. It was a bank holiday & half a dozen Uber drivers were dealt with first. Had the cod & chips lovely portion size both freshly made, a little greasy but overall very good.

I will definitely be ordering from here again. So best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Really enjoyed the place which was really meaty.

Great Chips but the batter on the sausage was really dry and brittle came off. Felt like sausage had been left in Fryer too long as sausage was rock hard. Hadn't ordered for a while so wanted it give them another chance. Won't be ordering again

chips were cold, some were fresh some portions looked like it was last nights chips warmed up.

Purchased two 2pc fish n chips paid extra for no tail..when i got it home..the fish was burnt overcooked and missing batter..the chips are now cut smaller..cold greasy soggy crap..i called back and informed the woman of this..i went for a replacement..the woman passed ot toe upon entering and wished me LUCK..i said that i shouldnt need luck for $50..when i got that home it was also crap..i called back and the woman was not friendly and hung up on me after getting my info..waiting for the owner to respond..theres areason why the lot is always empty

the food is always great from here. however, they should think about using paper bags to deliver in as the paper sweats in the plastic bag and gets stuck to the chips. I've spent the last 10 minutes trying to get as much of the paper off as I can.

Ordered a large cod and chips for myself and chicken shish and chips for the husband and we were sorely disappointed. The chicken was cooked with tikka seasoning and was spicy, not what we wanted. The fish was absolutely vile, wrapped in paper along with the chips and was wrapped so tightly, by the time we received it, it was just one big, soggy mess. I couldnt eat it in the end, but the dog had an amazing fish dinner. Never again.

As tourists, we ordered fish and chips there. The food tasted really good and for £7 you get a drink and "mini" fish and chips, which isn't that small! We've comfortably had enough of it. Our kids had a cheeseburger and were happy with it.

delivery rider drove straight past our house when the app said they were here and then went far away to deliver another order before coming back. they said it was the app telling them to do that but it is a bit strange because the app told me they were coming..

Long wait even when not particularly busy, clearly under-staffed. They’ve taken out all the chairs and tables which isn’t a very good idea when you have to wait 20 mins for a simple order. Having said that the quality of the food is not bad and very generous portions - fish is quite good, chips are decent.

What an absolute shocker. Battered Mars Bar missing. There’s never an excuse to have items missing. Fish was wrapped in paper, not in a box, the batter was soggy. Chips stuck to the paper and the gravy was poor. Total letdown. Very disappointing.

Unlike a previous good order the most recent one was a Deliveroo order was a bad one! The haddock was small overly battered the chips were clumped together and so very expensive-a most unsatisfactory order. Disgraceful order.

Lamb donner was truly horrible, dry and tasteless.

The fish and chips were bad. Everyone in our family has had an upset stomach since we had their food last night. The fish was soaked in oil when it was wrapped, with pretty much no flavor. The chips were soggy and very soft. The kebab was below average.

Food arrived after 45 mins of time originally die. Food was cold and they forgot our ordered sauces. I contacted the restaurant who were very unhelpful who blamed the driver not turning up. Not happy.

I had a really busy day and decided to pass by and order fish & chips, absolutely delicious batter was crisp and nice and golden and they only make fresh on order, staff very friendly really happy will be going back. My now favourite chippy.

This restaurant is very very dirty and disgusting!!! they work with dirty hands. when packaged they touch the food. everyone is very rude!! For the delivery drivers are not respected !! Rubbish place!

1st order at 12:59 cancelled and no reason given, second order 15:05 delivered at 17:00 and told to cancel if I’d like… I’ve been a loyal customer for a long time but that doesn’t it for me, I’m never ordering from here ever again

Took almost an hour for the very small order to be ready for the uber driver to collect. The food was very hot when arrived, although it was extremely greasy so probably wouldn't order again

Food was mediocre. Ordered on Uber Eats who give you options of salt and vinegar and which drink you want. Problem is the Codfather staff seem to take no notice of these instructions and you get what you’re given.

Don’t EVER order from this place. Owner threatened to kill me. Apparently the Uber driver stole my food and that’s my fault.

My wife and I ordered fish and chips which was ok and a chicken kebab. The kebab was definitely of the worst quality meat I have ever had, there was so much fat that I was unable to eat it. If this is the quality of meat that is being served I won’t be ordering anything from here again.

My order came and was cold the chips were hard even the chunky ones I was very disappointed with cod Father cos in the past they have had great food but I think it's gone downhill I ordered large and it wasn't a large portion in my opinion in the past I've had bigger portions the chips was like they was old and re fried cos they all was hard and crunchy

Their large cod was much smaller than before. The chips were pale white and oily. Never again. Good delivery

Driver close and waited outside but he parked elsewhere for an extended period beyond the advised time. Also, one of the items received (large sausage) was not included and was instead replaced (without notification) by two, smaller, poorer substitutes. Disappointing form all round.

Avoid at all costs, chips clumpy, fish has a horrible after taste, very oily the cost was £12.50 for medium cod and chips. Won't be going back there again. (PLEASE AVOID)

Delivery man very polite. Restaurant had delay hence the food was not piping hot which was disappointing considering its 20 pounds for fish and chips.
