Costa @ Next in Wigan

Disappointing , no ice , no milk , only takeaway a full 25 mins before closure was advised to use the one across the road as they are open later 25 minutes before they advertise as closed !!!

£4.50 for a vanilla latte. Way too hot, couldn’t even taste the vanilla. Took a few sips then threw it away.

Very disappointed 😞 after I pay £4.50 for taking out caramel latte. It was between cold and warm! Price is very high ! Table are always filthy with full of plate and cups. But people are nice behind the desk . Maybe they don't have enough people for service.

Never have any food available on Just Eat. Amazes me how they even make any money when 95% of their items are apparently "unavailable"

Went today to have a meeting, breakfast wraps are really nice, had multiple teas 😂, power at most tables to charge my lap top, no time limit on the stay either. Friendly staff. Thankyou

Absolutely shocking. 2 girls working flat out , 1 taking orders and running around taking items out, and another making the coffees on her own. The other 2 stood in the back and occasionally coming out the front letting us all know about the chocolate orange shots she had last night..Oh and how bad her headache is..Over 20 minutes I was stood waiting and hopefully everyone else in the queue will leave the same comment cos we all felt the same

Awful yet again closed prior to advertised time. Arrived in the pouring rain an hour before closing to be told they were serving takeout only. Not the first time but the earliest I've known them close. Anyone who finds this, Starbucks up the road always stays open till its advertised closing time

Great choice for a drink and cake if your in the area (and for free WiFi) only let down recently by common staffing issues and out off stock items., although I don't blame the shop itself as it seems to be a national issue at the moment.

We call here for a coffee most Sundays whilst out for a very long walk. Always pleasant service as in most Costas i use.

7.00pm on a Friday and they were so busy. Still all really polite and friendly. Everywhere was clean and my hot chocolate was just what I needed.

Great when you can get served however today after queuing for 45 minutes was told that tills where down and I had to put the stuff I was buying back just as it was my turn to be served at Robin Park Costa Wigan WN5

They said if I try the cooler they'd give me special sweets outside if town

It was a very positive experience. White hit chocolate and a ham and cheese toasted sandwich. Not too busy, very clean.

I've used both Costa the one with the drive thru and the one in next many many times. For me the staff at the drive thru need to spend a few days with the staff at the Costa in next to be shown how staff are to behave. There's no smiles at the drive thru one when you sit in they look like they don't like there job and I hate the fact that they shout you to come and get your food and dont bring it to you. What if you was sat outside!! The Costa in next staff are pleasant and bring your food to you.

Very good service and very covid safe

I had the smoked bacon barm, it was nice, just could of done with 3 pieces not just 2 on the barm then you would tasted it in every bite not just half of it!

This place is unquestionably one of the most pleasant place in the neighborhood. Every time I come there I am incredibly glad. They preserve their very high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they provide. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

Most of the staff don't seem happy! Service can be quite slow at times.

Lovely coffee, no queue and friendly staff.

They've not had medium cups in the last few times I've been, no chocolate orange syrup once and NEVER get an orange segment with the Christmas drinks.

Got the simple order wrong - gave me a hazelnut latte (I’m allergic to nuts)

The only criticism was the tables had been separated by rows of chairs, which results in you only having six inches too squeeze in to your seat, not very comfortable

I wouldn't normally post a bad review about Costa I love the place I'm sat here and had to move tables as people are not social distancing signs all over tables saying no sitting there this is why covid spreading very dissapointed looks like Nero for next coffee

Very disappointed when my wife told me one of the staff was very abrupt and rude with her. This would not be acceptable in any circumstances but when my Wife is in a wheelchair and was accompanied by her carer this is even less acceptable.

Disgusted from today's experience. Absolutely filthy! Tables not cleaned/sanitised after each person's use. Watched a member of staff go outside to remove a tray of cups but the table wasn't cleaned after!!! THIS IS DURING A PANDEMIC! Fabric chairs used which is so dangerous during a virus outbreak and were absolutely filthy! A chair next to us thick with dust and muck, fair enough it wasn't in use and had a sign saying this table and chairs is unavailable but still goes to show how ontop of their cleaning they are! I just posted a picture separate to this review as unable to attach to this review for some reason. One member of staff in particular is incredibly lazy and forgets to give items during drive thru experiences and says there is ketchup in a toastie cardboard package without checking!!!

Busy as usual, quick-ish service, but could of done with better care for customers.

Rude girl serving shouted don't sit there when we went to sit at an empty table .No reason given .asked where it was ok to sit never lifted her head just mumbled something I understand we have to abide by rules but would help if we knew what your rules are and not be yelled at by some bad mannered imbecile that you have as your face of your company

Unhappy that staff are unable to approach customers who do not follow the rules at costa. Ie outside tables that were signed with no seating were just totally disregarded. Do not feel this should be ignored.

Coffee good as always. One tip , get a table before you get in the queue they won't allow you to drink in if you haven't secured a table

I popped into Costa Coffee on Robin park this morning & I was served by a lovely girl called Emily, you should be proud that she is a member of your staff, pleasant & nothing was too much trouble for her 10 out of 10 x

I love this Costa shop. It's my favourite. Staff are polite and quick with drinks/food orders. And not to forget is very clean.

Not many customers where wearing face masks or social distancing

We love coming here.The staff are wonderful but overworked.Today 2 of them were crying with fatigue.You are seriously permanently understaffed.The staff tell me that the bosses don't give a fig for their overworked staff. Shame on you Costa.You need at least 2 more members of staff but all you care about is profit.I dare you to reply to me.😣

Friendly and efficient staff: Vicky, Bev, Bradley and all the others. Coffee is good. Food is good. Atmosphere is very comfy.

Typical Costa with a good turnover of produce so everything is fresh. Staff are lovely here to. Only one criticism, the bucket chairs really are like a bucket, the bases are collapsing so you sink right down in them. We nearly lost the Mother-in-Law in one of the seats so every cloud 😁.

Newish built coffee shop located in Robin Park Retail Park. Close to shops such as Card Factory, KFC and Subway. Parking readily available.

I come here many time before and after the gym, I go too , around the corner from Costa . I come with friends or alone.i have always found service very good and all the staff work very hard, and work well together as a team . Sometimes can get very busy but they try to accommodate as many as possible. There will be times around dinner time and 5pm where there will be a small que, service is fast moving and keep keep smiling. I will continue to come here as I like how I am treated as a customer. This a is nice relaxing place. Big credit to all the staff, especially Ryan , who is so pleasant nothing is too much trouble . I will recommend this Costa 100% (the one attached to next).,I try other Costa and service and team work do not exist, over the road, at the drive through , which is a shame, they need a good manager to guide them, same as this Costa. dirty and scruffy, not a pleasant place to relax with a cup of joe !

The larger Costa next to KFC isn't too bad, tables can be dirty sometimes due to not enough staff but the Costa that's connected to next is horrendous. 20 min wait in the queue then made to feel like we were inconveniencing the girl when we actually orded. More staff and a better attitude is needed. With the amount of money Costa make staffing should not be an issue!

Its neat and formal, also has a variety of foods to eat.

Went in for a latte & found it tasted like the last drink had obviously been a hot chocolate because my latte had a taste of it which was GROSS!!!

Staff very friendly and as it's a busy weekend they work very hard. Unfortunately I had to ask for toilet paper and the toilets were absolutely discussing it was very clear nobody had checked or cleaned the toilets in a while. In fact one toilet couldn't use at all, it smelt discussing and had a ripped cardboard box covering the toilet!

Just visited Costa at next .at Robinpark Wigan. Never had such poor service. About 9 people waiting for drinks whilst barista stood chatting to a colleague about her mother!!!!! She then literally through my drink in the cup (which I had to tell her twice I wasn't taking away) only to go spilling it all down the side of the cup!!!! Wish I hadn't bothered visiting... Shocking service without a smile!!!!!

Costa was dirty, food on floor and all tables full of old used cups. None of cups had been cleared. Literally every table was dirty

The only place to go if you need the loo at Robin Park, that is if you don't mind wading through a puddle of pish at KFC or Burger king.

Good service, waiting time can change however they are always quick and very polite, lots of drinks to chose from and a good selection of food to have a long with your drink.

The staff were absolutely fabulous in every way ,we had a minor spillage ,our fault, they couldn't do enough for us and helped in every way they could they were excellent ,Thankyou

Called in for a coffee & decided to have a sandwich and millionaire shortbread each as well.Service was slow because of long queue. Impressed by one of the staff who had gone to the back seating area and cleared every table, which had been left messy.The sandwiches were heated and were hot and tasty. The coffees were delicious and the millionaire shortbread was very good.

My sis ordered this around 2:10 and they where just ignoring the machine and sorting the people's orders rather than the first customer its bloody stupid

Ordered 2 coffees and 2 cakes. 1 cake was stale, but was replaced, no questions asked.

Well its Costa. Theyre generally pretty much the same. The only difference is the staff. Good staff make a world of difference. The service area is cramped due to seating running alongside it. Other than that its ok.

20mins to get a coffie wont be calling again

Great coffee,lovely place to meet up with friends.

Slow to serve, in small queue and I only wanted a coffee, yip regular black americano, which didn't take long, the ones before mad concoctions put you on diabetes alert.

5 customers, 15 minutes later gave up. Not enough staff, compromising customer service to support the drive-thru. No acknowledgement or eye contact.

Always get the perfect latte here.
