New staff, as ever they were polite and efficient. All areas clean and tidy...coffee simply delicious 😋

Spitfire Costa is a very friendly coffee shop with lovely staff

My order was large as it was sandwiches, drinks and cakes for me and my two daughters so I wasn’t expecting a 20-30 minute delivery but it all still arrived in under an hour which for a busy Saturday I thought was good. There was a bit of a mistake with the triple chocolate muffin having been left out of the bag and we didn’t receive it. In less than 2 minutes I had notified just Eat and got an Account credit for the missing muffin. You can’t fault that service at all and good food and drinks too

One of the nicer Costas...largely down to the very friendly staff Oh dear. Have to update my initial review. Went there today 8/9/24 and received very poor service. I got my coffee and spent 40 minutes or so in there. Just before leaving I noticed that the reward credit hadn't been applied. As I am a regular Costa fiend I thought I would get it credited on the way out. Not so easy it seems....I was told needed the receipt....who gets a receipt for coffee and a biscuit? Not me anyway. But I showed them the debit from my online bank app and the reward history on the Costa app which showed no reward that day. The manager still insisted on a receipt even the though the lady who served me confirmed she had served me a coffee. All a bit silly for about 30p and I felt petty pursuing it....but it was the officiousness that wound me up. Anyway after 2 or 3 minutes arguing the manager did credit my app....but only after saying that she would be in trouble as everything was on camera! A bit Kafkaesque. Shame really as never had anything but good service at this branch before today but I don't think I can bring myself to go there again.

Ordered a total of three times from this costa. Every single time I receive the completely wrong order or they’ve forgotten something important in it. Their staff are friendly but have no idea what they’re doing which only has me blaming the company because clearly they have not bothered to train them 😭

Service was lovely by staff. I haven't had a Costa coffee in over a year now, so I decided to treat myself one wish I never did. I had ordered a large caramel latte, which was disgusting. I don't know why it just didn't taste right at all. I can't believe the price they charge you extra for sitting in to have a drink either so opted for the comfort of my car. Shan't be having a Costa again

Never received the order as it clearly been delivered else where. Just eat refusing to refund. Joke . Wouldn't use again!

Very warm in Costa at the retail Park Trowbridge as the air con had broken down hence more people were sat outside buy it was a sunny day anyway I stayed inside, had a lovely latte n cake Diff girls on duty today Very polite n helpful Like all the other assistants Thanks

The food and drink was really good, but this review is primarily for the staff working there today. It was incredibly busy and all the staff were professional, friendly and personable. This was made even more impressive considering some of the people they had to deal with being rude and unreasonable. Very, very impressive members of staff, 5/5 for service.

We meet here as often as we can. Our favourite coffee shop by far. The staff are fantastic and provide our dog (Fergus) with fresh water to drink. Today Kayleigh made our drinks fresh and served with a smile as usual. Great staff as always.

Good choice of food, not so quiet due to the size of the place. It wasn't very bussy i the morning before 10am. Staff were friendly and nice.

A few years back, a friend of mine introduced me to a flat black. A little known drink back then. So some would be forgiven for not understanding the order or for not doing a great job on the drink. 4 years on, it would seem it’s still a challenge for a lot of baristas. Enter, Spitfire Costa. Whether it’s Renata, Antonia, or Dakota on barista duties, the flat black is nailed EVERY, DAMN, TIME. Not only that, but my wife and daughter love a decaf latte, which are always exceptional. When you couple that with the movie like scene of smiles, laughter and comradely from the team it just makes for a fantastic place to meet, drink and enjoy others company. Won’t go anywhere else as for a Costa locally again 🙌🏼

This ranks highly, if not at the top of the list, for Costa Coffee visits. Whether it be for Sue’s pride in her work or Carrie’s friendly face. The food cooked perfectly, drinks made beautifully. It’s just refreshing to see a place where people still believe in and enjoy what they do. It shows in the atmosphere, the experience and the facilities. Thanks again to the team

Man y'all are useless. I should have listened to the reviews. Missing a whole drink and the drink I did get was only half full and I don't even think it was the drink I asked for! Absolutely useless. How do you mess up 2 basic drinks

Delivery driver was great. The restaurant though charged me for things they didn’t have and crossed it out on the bag on the delivery.

Food was very cold and took over an hour to deliver

I had to wait over an hour for my food, it was cold as heck, AND! they just decided to cross one of my items off my order, without a refund. I literally paid for items I didn't get! disgusting

Often in the UK you just get used to things the way they are. McDonald’s having no milkshakes, BMW drivers not using inidicators, or in my case, Costa Coffee establishments being generally dirty. I’ve seen coffee machines that look like they’ve not been cleaned in weeks, tables dying to be wiped down but worst of all, the toilets 🤢 I don’t know what’s being done differently in Trowbridge Spitfire Retail park, but whatever or whoever is behind it is doing something right. The team all had smiles on their faces, the floors and tables were all clean, the coffee machine was sparkling. However, for me, the pièce de résistance was the toilets. They were spotless. I was dreading going for a wee, but they made me want to stay in there even longer (I didn’t, though, that would be weird). The manager (I presume) Olga seemed genuinely invested in customer experience and Dakota delivered some of the finest Costa drinks I’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking. I will be updating on my next visit as there are names I couldn’t remember, but the team was like a well oiled machine. Well played, I will be seeing you again 🫡

I have already sent a email and waiting for a response I want my money back for the order and a complaint made about the driver!

Very welcoming staff and plenty of them so didn't have to wait long for my coffee. Parking right outside. Clean and room to sit down.

Rude manageress who encourages a poor work ethic I was told on a Sunday in a very loud voice by her with lots of attitude that they were closed-half an hour before closing time and cafe full of customers. Staff are polite and helpful. Unfortunately as you can see from some of the reviews-some of the elderly customers are very racist and even towards me as a customer. There needs to be a zero tolerance policy for people like this.

Didn’t receive any of the food I ordered and I spent over £30!!! I rang them up and they said they’d refund me and I still haven’t received that either!!! Absolute joke!

Order was not complete, this is happening more and more with Costa, not much stock or missing items - I will refrain from ordering from there, had to pay a delivery charge for 1 drink, if I had know I wasn’t getting all my order I would have cancelled. I am furious and would like a refund of delivery and the missing item!!

We came in here on Saturday and we were served by Olga, she's so happy, helpful and informative on the products as my wife wasn't to sure what she wanted. Lovely experience here today.

Nice modern Costa Coffee shop. Convenient location in an out of town retail park, with easy parking right outside. All the usual Costa Coffee drinks and snacks in a pleasant modern open style. Good WiFi too. All good 😎 👍 👍 👍

Received the wrong order completely

The delivery time kept changing which meant I was not able to have it as I was do to leave as soon as it got to me. Plus coffee has spilt in the bag.

We came yesterday for a cup of hot chocolate. Hot chocolate did not look like on the picture and was cold. Inga, the Ukrainian girl who made hot drinks is extremely rude and shouting in customers, and she could not take our order properly, not listening what customers are saying. I observed she’s been talking to her colleague in a rude tone as well, no polite words when asking for more milk to make drinks. She kept talking loud in Ukrainian language with another blond Ukrainian, it didn’t bother them customers are there! The stuff who was taking my order at the till was kind and smiling. They offered me another cup of hot chocolate after I asked to warm up our existing ones. Place itself clean but definitely not coming back again, I’d rather go to to the town centre to Coffee#1 or wherever.

Yet again an order from Costa has missing items despite them showing as available. Yet again having to attempt to get a refund from just eat. Never ordering from Costa again, the only consistent thing is failure to deliver a complete order

Came up for coffee and brunch. Good Vegetarian and Vegan choices. Service was good. Plenty of spaces to sit inside and out. Relaxed atmosphere.

WARNING DO NOT ORDER, COSTA COFFEE HAVE STOLEN FROM ME. I have called 10 times with no answer. I spent £28 on two coffees, one tiffin, one sandwich and two wraps. All of which supposedly to be delivered within 40 mins. I waited almost two hours for the delivery and received only the coffee and the tiffin. Essentially I was charged £28 for two coffees and a slice of dessert. It's also important to note at no point did they contact me. I chased the driver down the road asking for my food and he assured me he didn't have it. Terrible. Just terrible the manager should be fired for negligence. I can't imagine how many other people they've tried to steal from. Costa coffee “not intentionally stealing from you” says it all doesn't it. since it was an accident that really doesn't change a lot for me I'm still out of pocket and see no way of being fairly compensated.

Getting fed up of paying for things and then delivery driver telling me something is missing. Annoying and driver has to face questions. Not of me as I understand its not his fault. Some people might get angry though.

No excuse for not having the air conditioning to a reasonable cool temperature inside when 30 degrees outside! That is just economising too much and to keep profits higher no doubt.... The lady making the coffee launched the long spoon on my tray with no verbal interaction by her. It seems gone are the days of good customer service. She was probably cross hearing about me talking of the heat in there to the person i went with and probably hacked off having to work in such a hot place as well! We had our drinks outside in the shade which was only marred by the smell of dog excrement which had not been cleared up properly!

The server was very nice and easy to work with, the food and drinks were delicious although a little too expensive. I asked for a straw and she was very kind and obliging. And the service was quite quick. Overall, a very nice place for a treat with friends.

Done a click and collect after waiting for 30 mins for our order we ended up having to go in and get it, it was suppose to be 5-8 min wait ended up being an hour in total

I ordered a hog roast toastie and received the spicy Mexican chicken one, it was far too spicy for me to eat. I ordered an iced latte with vanilla syrup and whipped cream, and there was no cream or syrup, and I paid extra for this. Incredibly disappointing also quite dangerous to be giving out the wrong food items. I would advise people with allergies or intolerances to avoid.

Very quiet, and the team were busy in the back area. Was ignored whilst they chatted. Felt quite awkward! Good iced coffee!

Straw wasn’t thick enough for a bubble tea which defeats the object of buying one, one flapjack was also missing and the brownie bites and flapjack are nothing what is advertised in the picture.

We go to Costa quite a lot in Frome and Trowbridge. Always lovely staff. Nothing to much trouble.

The atmosphere is brilliant when Olga is working, its friendly and always welcoming when she is working, all other staff are friendly especially Suzanne, but when the young man David who we believe is the assistant manager when working the atmosphere is totally different, he is quite often grumpy and he can be quite rude at times and makes us feel like an inconvenience, we are regulars

After giving many chances to Costa I've decided no more. Endless issues with items being missing. This time got quarter of a cup full of drink and no toastie I ordered. Un drinkable as I was worried something happened to the drink enroute only being a small amount of drink in the cup

Great coffee, the bakewell tart was tasteless and boring though!

It was OK, however the delivery time kept changing and making it later and later. The drinks were spot on

I put an order through, and not only did I have to wait over an hour for this, but because they didn’t have salted caramel frappe they didn’t bother putting anything else in as a substitute. So now I have no drink at all. Brilliant. I wouldn’t have minded if they had put a chocolate brownie frappe in instead.

A clean, tidy, and relaxing place to drink your favourite beverage. The staff are friendly so I'd definitely return to this cafe again for my regular coffee enjoyment.

Best coffee in Trowbridge. Staff are lovely, the cafe inside is cozy. Dogs are allowed in as well which is always nice, I think there's services for the dogs like water etc too.

Awful! Ordered at 8.23 order arrived at 10.09 hot chocolate was cold and panini missing. Tried calling the restaurant due to the nearly 2 hour delay with no answer and no notification or refund for my missing items. Very very poor service!

Overall a good place - it’s clean, light and spacious and the staff greet you well too. However, 2 stars are taken out as every time I go in the music IS ROCKY, POPPY & LOUD!!! They have to realise the majority of us there are to meet and chat with friends, read or search the web & when it’s that loud it spoils the whole experience! Secondly, I had 3 coffees on 3 separate days and each time I would put their quality of coffee in the low marks compared to other Costas I go to all around the country! They. Need some more training!

Order is never on point. Always an item missing or just the wrong item in general. Standards here have dropped over time.
