Costa Coffee Griffiths Way in St Albans

A nice place to go but it is a pity they allow dogs. Nice coffer. Efficient service. Quiet on a Sunday before Aldi opens. Plenty of parking.

This cooffe shop is he best for meas it is within walking distance to easily reach with my one good leg and one good arm to hobble along using my hiking pole Staff always friendly Never too crowded so plenty of space to sit on the comfortable furniture and if sunny there are outside tables The staff never hesitate to take my tray to my table quickly realising I have one working hand

I come here often but prefer dog free environments. A pity there was one here today. It is usually a great place to come.

The store is good, but what are the opening and closing times. It states 8.00pm on the door but I have been there twice this month just after 7.00 pm and its shut. There are no times on this page

Usually it’s a great place to get some work done, quiet and cosy, today was not a good atmosphere, the staff were hoovering 2 hours before closing time, a job that I think should be done after closing as it’s very loud and disruptive and I could tell other people were finding it difficult to have a conversation. Please leave hoovering till after closing, surely this is common sense? Also felt like there was no heating on and I was freezing. Coffee is always good, if these other things were amended it would be great.

excellent service and supper frindly staff always willing to open my sugar sachets and bring my purchase to my table and a good addition to St. Albans and a great meeting place for new friends jus hopping they will get WIFI soon which the manger says they will

Normally use the drive thru which is always fantastic but I used click and collect today mainly due to the offer that costa have on at the moment. The service was fantastic, the young lady who helped me carry my drinks to the car was amazing, friendly and helpful. The drinks were great aswell however on the app it told me it would take 5-8mins but unfortunately my drinks did take nearly 30mins to get made which I personally don't mind and wasn't anyone's who works there fault but they did need extra person. This won't put me off coming here because I really do enjoy this store and the people working here. Thank you especially to the young girl who helped me with the drinks to my car.

I visit this Costa most days to get my Costa fix. I have never had a bad visit, the staff are really friendly and as I'm a regular face they remember my order which is kind and a lovely personal touch. They always have a smile on there faces and are always very bright and friendly people. I always look forward to my visit.

Yet again I ask for a skinny flat white and yet again I get a full fat latte . Check your orders even in a drive through they can't complete a simple order

Polite staff and quick service. Just what you need for the morning drive to work. Could do with opening earlier.

Visited this drive through several times since it opened several weeks ago and the service and quality of coffee is consistently good. Better coffee than S Bucks too.

New Costa Coffee in Griffiths Way: Worst coffee I had had in years. Served very hot; then once cooled down was absolutely tasteless. I had a few mouthfuls (as I was thirsty) then threw the rest away. The salted caramel brownie was small and very disappointing – both food and drink were a complete waste of money. On the plus side: brand new building on what was the old gas holder site; has some cycle racks; only a short distance from the St Albans end of national cycle network route 61 and also very close to national cycle network route 6. Indoor and outside seating available, as well as drive-through. Although, when we visit the building was closed, so only drive-through was available – hence not being able to easily complain and request a refund.
