It is my favourite Costa coffee shop. I really like the friendly atmosphere there. Food is always fresh. Drinks are made with ♥️. The store manager is really friendly and want to bring the smile on his customers face. The staff there is as well always friendly, smiling. Store is clean. So there is nothing to complain about.

Friday 8th December. i came in to grab a coffee i was served by a lovely young lady who was left to do everything by herself with her colleague sitting on her phone in the back not even offering help. Which is very much fowl behaviour

Incredibly rude girl working there on the morning of Fri 4th August. Foul attitude. Is it so hard to hire employees capable of saying 'please', 'thank you', and 'pardon' instead of "what??" when they haven't heard something. Rolling your eyes and tutting whenever a customer walks in isn't a good look either.

Its ok but needs improvement other branches are much better

Bad experience with costa coffee Goodmayes they don't no how make a coffee I don't recommended!!!

Went in there today to get my free coffee after buying 8 coffees as you get one free and the till wasn’t working and I didn’t have cash to buy one. They said I had to pay for it by cash which I didn’t have. I’m in that coffee shop everyday and the least they could of done was give me my free coffee. It’s not the customers fault that the till wasn’t working and won’t be going in there again. They have lost a loyal customer.

The staff are friendly and make the coffee better than other Costas I have visited.

Worst service they don’t know about tea , how to make tea , they serve just boiled water .. Strange literally

Perfect location and definitely convenient for station user. Small place but its in a very good location just outside Goodmayes station. Pick up a take way and was good . Service 1st and very clean. I love costa coffee

I visited this store twice today between 1.30pm and 2.15pm. I always come to this store. I get the same thing for my colleague every time. Salted caramel frostino, with no coffee, whipped cream and less ice. I visited today and the lady who has served me regularly was slightly reluctant when I asked for less ice today. I said to her, this is what I usually get. She was not rude about it at all. I found it strange she questioned me about something that I usually get. When she proceeded to get ice she asked me how much I wanted. I asked her for a little less. The gentlemen then interrupted and said 'you are going to get this much' whilst indicating with his hands that I would get less. He then said, 'go for something else, like an ice latte'. I then said very politely 'i am getting this for my colleague to be honest'. Whilst trying to be patient as I did not like his abrupt and arrogant tone. I am all up for suggestions. But, the way he spoke was not freindly at all. My staff member then tried her drink and it had coffee. Fair enough mistakes happen. I am a restaurant manager. I went back and asked it to be changed as it had coffee. The lady then said to me 'no you asked for coffee'. I said, 'sorry, but I get the same thing every time'. She did not contest further she proceeded to make my drink. As she did, the gentlemen said 'next time don't do this, next time say no'. I don't know if he was referring to my less ice request earlier or making the drink again. Is this what you say when a customer is present?! I was infuriated but I left it. Then a customer whom I know through work came to get a coffee. He asked innocently 'where is the brown sugar, all I see is white'. Your male staff member responded 'if one says white sugar what's the other one going to be' in a very rude and sarcastic manner. The customer got annoyed and they began to have words. I could no hold myself any longer. I asked him, 'is this how you speak to customers. You are so rude.' At both of our annoyance he come to the front of the shop and claimed he was joking. he then said, 'its my bad if I was rude, in my job the customer is always right'. Is that what you call an apology? There were two paying customers both annoyed at his unnacceptable manners. The ironic part of this whole situation was, that your staff member decided to take on a more appropriate tone after our annoyance. There are a few other things I need to mention. But, this review is long enough. There is some golden advice a few friends, customers and colleagues have given me regarding Costa Goodmayes. Go to costa chadwell heath which is down the road, jannat or clockhouse coffee shop if you would like consistent customer service Personally, this is the most important thing for me. Disclaimer, there are some lovely staff members at your shop. Hence, why I have been fair and given you 3 stars

Yesterday around 12 of day I bought one Pepsi, orange juice,2 crips and one chocolate eggs..and did contactless payment they took £26.50 from my account when my bill should be under £10..there were 2 more customers may be that took their bill from me by mistake because while serving me they started serving them too..or they themselves took £26.50..so disappointed.. I’m calling them but not any answer

Great coffee with excellent baristas Sylwia! Always get my order right. Sylwia is always smile and take attention to the details. Sylwia is friendliest staff ever!!!

The service is 5* even when they are super busy with online orders. Perfectly made coffee every time not to forget they are very informative about offers and promotions and always quick and efficient, great service. Thank you!!! 👍🏼

I went into this costa really wet from the rain and was greeted by jack the manager and his staff member Patricia they’re customer service was Excellent.. They where very knowledgable on there hot drinks and they they made me laugh and was really happy.. My Hot chocolate looked so good with cream on it that I sent a pic of it to my brother on what’s app he was sooo jealous it was hilarious .. Brilliant People, Delicious Hot Chocolate, Very Highly recommended .. 👍🏻😋🔝

Rude staff. I just walked in and they refuse to take my order as they said they have collection orders they need to prepare. At least take my order so I can get put in que before more collection orders come but no they didn't even want to speak with me! So rude and the way they were staring and giving me dirty made me so uncomfortable so I left. WASTE OF TIME!

Poor service. Asked to wait 2 minutes while they dealt with a collection (no problem at all) but then one of the staff is calling from the back of the shop in a rude manner trying to take my order. Decided it wasn’t worth the bother. Unfortunate, as it’s the only negative experience I’ve had in 3 months. But bad enough to write a review.

There is a guy with long hair who was very rude to me so I decided to not have a coffee and to never come back to this shop 🙁

Whoever the store manager is need to work more on his/her staff management.... Having just one staff during busy hours is so much no sense, made me late on my important appointment-wanted to walk away but didn't want to disappoint the poor staff working alone.....

Just at Costa Goodmayes having an Almond Milk Latte. Extremely happy with the 5* service by the wonderful Sylvia. Thank you Sylvia for such a wonderful service: the team here are truly great! I've been here multiple times and definitely plan to come again for meetings. Thanks to the manager Jack!

Amazing service from Jack and Sylvia. They were quick and KIND people. Lovely having a coffee from here just before rush hour . They are open at 7 am till 7 pm- pretty long hours but really good service.
