I visited this cafe recently and, while the food itself was quite good (I ordered pasta,sandwiches, juice, and dessert), my overall experience was disappointing and disheartening. From the moment I walked in, I felt judged and unwelcome. I was dressed casually in a t-shirt and lower pants, and it seemed that my appearance led the staff to treat me with a level of disregard and subtle humiliation that no customer should have to endure—especially after spending nearly £50 on my meal. To make matters worse, I found a small eyelash on my pasta. I chose not to make a scene or complain, but it's important for me to share this so that others are aware of the kind of service they might encounter here. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of what they wear or where they’re from. I hope the management reflects on how their staff interact with guests and ensures that dignity and basic courtesy are extended to all.

Were sat for a while before order taken and it wasnt busy. Signature Hot Chocolate, Kunafa Bun, Waffle with Madagascar Vanilla Ice Cream and Cookies. Nice decor and price reflects the upmarket presentation.

I really liked chicken cesar salad surprisingly for the theme of the place. Overall good quality food and desserts, just wish mocktails were not so sweet

It's alright. More glamorous than anything. They don't do key holder prices anymore on their menu either.

The service from Apekshya was great, very attentive and friendly and always happy to help when needed anything. Can't fault the service from her. However please bring back the old menu, there are not many choices of beef and chicken burgers very disappointed with that. They no longer do my favourite burger and the one I ordered wasn't great, bit dry. Also the peri loaded fries wasn't the same as before, and there was hardly any cheese sauce on it. Disappointed no more grilled chicken burger. Sorry to say I won't be going again as the menu has changed

Took over an hour to get served. Kept asking for someone to take our order and was told someone else will take it… Also don’t serve tap water, apparently because their tap water is “dirty” so unsafe to serve to customers?

Dissapointing. Came here a few days ago with my work colleagues. Pasta was not nice. Very dry with lots of oil at the bottom. Inedible. Crispy onion Beef burger was tasty. Chips normal. Food took 45 minutes to arrive from ordering. We asked for one of our meals to come first due to breaking fast - did not happen. No condiments provided till asked for. No sauces provided till asked for, and then didnt bring enough. All in all me and the group will not be visiting again.

The food was good, the service was great not to mention the decor, I love this place.

I recently visited and ordered the Matilda cake and Guavadela Passin, both highly recommended by Rozmina. I have to say, both desserts were absolutely delicious! The Matilda cake was rich and indulgent, with a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. The Guavadela Passin had a delightful tropical flair with the right amount of tang and sweetness. Even though Rozmina was clearly very busy, she provided outstanding service. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured that everything went smoothly. Her recommendations were spot on, and her warm attitude made the experience even better. Highly recommend trying both desserts and definitely looking forward to coming back for more!

Interior was surprisingly nice which you would not be able to tell from the outside. Very clean and with a very room upstairs which is ideal for those visiting in Ramadan. The dessert although a bit more on the higher end for prices was nice with a fresh taste. Only reason why it gets 4 star was due to service being slow to take order until we went to the till and it also felt like we were being ignored when paying due to the being on a phone call.

Extremely disappointed with Haute Dolci Ilford due to a serious allergen safety failure and poor management response. On 18th March 2025, my younger sister suffered a severe anaphylactic reaction after consuming food containing sesame, despite informing staff of her allergy. When she questioned a waiter after feeling unwell, he was unsure and had to check—by then, it was too late. She was then taken to A&E via paramedics requiring EpiPen (adrenaline) injection, Intravenous antihistamine, Oral steroid treatment and Medical observation for further complication. To make matters worse, store manager Mostafa Hassan showed no urgency or accountability. He failed to check on us and claimed he had no authority to offer compensation, simply telling us to report it online. Allergies are life-threatening and must be taken seriously. This incident highlights poor staff training and allergen safety procedures, which could have had even worse consequences. I strongly urge Haute Dolci’s head office to take action, and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone with allergies.

I had an amazing experience at Haute Dolci - Ilford. Rozmina my server was very accommodating to my allergies and was very helpful and lovely. I would definitely come back again the food was very good with a variety of vegan options.

Good part is no alcohol which is brilliant with young people. But drinks are sugary syrup! Had to add water to dilute. The service is atrocious, the waitress was over loaded to serve 4 tables on her own that sat 8-10 people and she mixed up the orders.

The food was delicious and the new menu items were incredible the slaw chicken burger melted in my mouth. The service was also very good and all the staff were polite and friendly. I would really recommend anyone who is looking for good food at an affordable price to come and try the food here.

Highly recommended this place!! The best dessert place in town by far, With loads of options to choose from and looks very fancy! Highly recommended the cheesecake with choc drip! Edit 10 March 2025: came back after few months to find the menu’s changed. The prices have gone up, and portions have gone smaller!!! I really want to leave 1 star but that’s selfish, so 3 stars is reasonsable due to changes in prices and also portions

The restaurant itself is decorated very nicely. I have been to the one in Cheshire oaks and that was one is so lovely however this branch was awful. Firstly the milkshakes we ordered did not look like the photos, for example the lotus milkshake did not have a lotus biscuit garnish, same for the strawberry milkshake and for the Oreo one. Tad misleading but not the end of the world, they were served first and actually tasted quite nice. The service was not good at all, we even wrote down what we wanted as per the menu names and they still brought me out the wrong crumble with icecream instead of custard. They changed it and even the correct one came there was what appeared to be a beard hair on my plate, I noticed this as soon as it was brought to the table so I quickly returned it. In the waffle there was a hair too so this really put me off. I would not return and would not recommend, they did however remove these two items off of the bill however I would much prefer paying for items that are served with hygiene. Added a photo of the “beard hair” Would suggest hair/beard nets to avoid this issue as I have seen a few people also mention hair in their food. They were very busy but this isn’t an excuse

first of all- haute dolci has been advertising come have iftar with us but when we asked for the iftar menu deal they said they’re not doing it yet?? it’s the 8th fast today i find that a bit ridiculous. made a reservation and made them aware of my dairy allergy which was acknowledged upon my arrival however the waiter that served me was nice but forgot to mention burger sauce which i am also allergic to and they brought out a brioche bun despite me clearly swapping it for a normal bun because im deathly allergic? had the burger brought out 3x again in which they’d taken the lettuce away🤣at this point i was too hungry after breaking my fast and ate it. it was too busy to ask for money off at the end and i had to leave anyway. food was mid for the extortionate price!!

the food was overall good but filling however when it came to paying the prices from the actual website changed making mine around over £10 the original price, some of my food was also burnt and got cold VERY fast

Place looks nice, thats the only good thing. Awful service, waitress was cold towards us and seemed like she didn't want to be there. Asked for tap water for the table, responded with sorry we don't do tap water??? Wouldn't recommend it, neither would go again. Ilford has many dessert places with better service and would serve tap water if I asked.

Hidden Gem in Ilford! I recently visited this restaurant in Ilford, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere is fantastic—high ceilings, fresh and stylish décor, and a welcoming ambiance. There are private seating areas that add to the comfort and exclusivity. The staff were kind and helpful. The food was delicious, well-presented, and reasonably priced, including the desserts. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the menu and the service. Upstairs, there’s a private meeting room, a prayer room, and clean, well-maintained toilets—great thoughtful additions! Overall, a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to others!

No cookie dough and no cream for milkshake - in a dessert place, my daughter has been bugging me from the beginning of the year she wants to come get dessert for her bday and she was so disappointed, dessert came and no cutlery was available, dessert got cold. Not coming back. Flies flying around the food

Food was wonderful, Desserts are the best in London in my opinion.

Dolci's definitely a fun spot for a group. Their French toast is amazing – warm, crispy, and perfect chocolate. I could tell that the chocolate they use in the fondue is really good quality, but the fruit they served with it wasn't very ripe. The ice cream was fine, but nothing too exciting. The ambiance is really nice, although the restaurant was so busy we sometimes had a hard time getting the attention of our server. And the upstairs area seemed off-limits unless you were some sort of social media influencer. It's a shame, because I would've liked to check out the view from up there. Overall, Dolci's a great place to check out if you're in the mood for something decadent, but be prepared for a bit of a wait. P.s. Sumesha was very helpful!

It was decent food for what you pay, however the service and hygeine was AWFUL!!! The table wasn’t cleaned before we was seated or during. We came and the host was just starting at us, I then asked if we could have a table and he just stood there no greeting or anything. Finally we got seated and he was just on his phone, we had to call somebody over to take our order because nobody was coming to us. When we received our food it was just left on our table no talking or cutlery, we then had to ask for the bill and they told us we have to get up and pay? What are we paying service for? Honestly awful experience compared to the wembley and o2 branch, will not be revisiting!
