Costa Coffee Drive Thru in Denbighshire

Tables not cleaned properly and staff too busy to get ‘round to clearing tables. Waiting time acceptable. Coffees excellent. Good choice of foods. The lighting in there is terrible. The ceiling Spotlights are dazzling and migraine inducing and every table is the same. We won’t go again for that reason.

Called here for a journey coffee break before traveling on to Glan Clwyd hospital . We had 2 flat whites a lotus biscoff cheesecake and a loaded flapjack. Really good location for Costa. We were served by Jo who was friendly & attentive. The cheese cake & flapjack were very tasty. The flat whites were good too but would have preferred a little bit hotter

Regarding the 90 mins parking, you can extend the parking time by entering your car registration on the touch screen situated on the wall to the left of the counter. I agree their should be a notice near the serving counter. I use the touch screen when i visit this costa branch

Same as many others, received the ridiculous £100 fine for having cups of coffee and cake. Charged for spending money at costa! Certainly not looking for a warning sign when I’m a paying customer at a coffee shop. I work for Betsi Cadwaladr and occasionally come to Bodelwyddan, so you’ve lost my business and that of other colleagues who were with me. Staff should ask the question when serving. Or actually - Costa - just don’t enable extortionate ParkingEye revenue in your business endeavours.

Stopped for coffee, car park was empty, saw the private parking limit sign for 90 mins max. Attended hospital appointment in nearby Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and returned for another coffee 1 hour 48 minutes later. 3 weeks later, I get a letter of £60 fine because I returned within 2 hours NO RETURN policy, which must have been written in tiny letters on their notice board. Nice coffee, but no way in hell am I going back. £60 for a couple of coffees.

If you wanna consider this Costa make sure you put your alarm to ring after 1.5 hours as you will get a parking ticket(not cheap) if you stay there more than that. That’s is unacceptable. I went there with my disabled friend who has locomotive issues and after 40-50 minutes he settled and we didn’t think we need to leave after another 40 🙄 needless to say we did order lots of stuff during our time there We will never return

We visited 19/12/23 after a hospital appt After a lengthy appt we stopped for lunch before driving home I am type 1 diabetic , amputee & virtually deaf . Due to problems with diabetes & insulin pump we stayed 1 hr 40 mins & spent £26.40 in store I am horrified to receive £100 Parking charge discounted to £60 WE WILL NOT be back

BE CAREFUL - FINED FOR USING THIS COSTA. New parking rules in place here. I have just received a fine for returning to the Costa carpark within 2 hours. I did return within 2 hours. I had another coffee. Indeed, I used the Costa 3 times that day due to local business (as my COSTA App shows). Until today I used this Costa at least once a day (during the working week) and occasionally, like this day, several visits per day. I have never had an issue with the staff or coffee here. However, I will NEVER USE THIS COSTA again !!! Penalised for being a regular customer.

Enjoyed a catch up with friend but just had a nasty surprise!! Didn’t know you can only stay so long and your hit with £100 fine! Never saw any signs or where you supposedly can input your number plate and not mentioned at the till! Would be appreciated if staff just mentioned to watch this!! Won’t hurry back. Left a bitter Costa costly taste!! 😢

I am a disabled person and a pensioner I meet my friend every week spend time in Costa .I parked on the car park and so did my friend. I get a fine for parking yet she doesn't . How is this worked out ?? Same time same car park but only one fine ????

Coffee and staff polite. Unfortunately the cleanliness is another thing. Don't think any of them have heard of dusting. I could literally write my name in the dust between the counter and tables. Most tables were covered in food bits. Not like they were busy as only 2 tables in.

Be warned. Parking eye installed by landlord and 90 minute maximum stay without registration at counter. I got a £100 fine from them for staying 2 hours 5 minutes. No Costa notices warning customers. I am disabled and the external notices are not in my sight lines. Someone somewhere is screwing genuine customers. Parking Eye are now owned by multi national Macquarie and are bleeding users of parking places. Costa should be protecting customers.

OH MY GOD. I’ve just been served by a young woman who should not be in any service lead industry. The world has gone mad when people like this woman can even get a job

Service and cafe itself is all in good order, unfortunately my coffee was just awful. I requested my cappuccino hotter which every other coffee shop in the land does perfectly well but instead ended up with a scorched /bland paper cup of hot milk.

This is an ok coffee shop and the staff are all fine, coffee is the usual good quality and consistent product. Only REAL PROBLEM is that whoever has varnished the tables appears to have used some sort of never setting marmalade based substance, the tables are always sticky to the max, despite the staff regularly wiping them down. Last time I was there I had to put napkins on the table as my coat was sticking to the table, upon leaving, the napkins actually partially stuck on the surface, surely an area manager or similar must have noticed when calling in for a quick slurp?

I went though the drive though and the service was very poor on the machine you talk into. The lady who gave me my drink was nice but my complaint is that the drink is way to bloody HOT to drink I can't even pick...

Once again absolutely dire! Forth time they’ve got my order wrong followed by a plethora of excuses. Two managers on shift still couldn’t organise a booze in a brewery between then. I would give this particular costa a WIDE berth if I were you absolutely...

I was greeted by a warm & friendly member of staff, customer service was excellent yet again having been to this bodelwyddan drive through I highly recommend anyone visiting won't be disappointed. Emma you are a credit to the company see you again soon.

Visited here twice now over the past two weeks, the staff are lovely and friendly and there is a very nice atmosphere sitting in (our new favourite costa), particular mention to Emma who was excellent, very friendly and polite and accommodating. Thank you 😊
