Awful service unclean tabes and they got the order wrong multiple times we asked for a mango bubble frappe and a latte recieved a vegan cream filled drink with a few mango boba and a chai latte.

Great location and the inside is lovely with a range of places to sit. However ever time I go there if it is busy I usually get the wrong order or nothing at all. A few weeks ago I had ordered a croissant which never arrived. After having to ask twice I was presented with a burnt croissant. By this time we had finished our drinks so left. It was so busy it was impossible to mention to anyone. It was very difficult to get up and down as I had a baby in a pram. When it is not busy it is a nice place to go for a coffee after visiting the retail park.

I popped in for a coffee with my partner, both of us had already had a costa from woodseats branch earlier in the day. I went to use my points and claim a free slice of cake as it had just been my birthday and I’d been gifted a reward. I didn’t claim it earlier as we’d just woke up and the 10th of Feb was the last day I could claim the reward. As I was showing the lady behind the counter that I had a “freebie” she shut me down telling me the scanner was broken. I said well I’ve got a gift card to use and a slice of cake to claim. “Well you can’t” I told her none of this was my problem I’ve got money on a gift card and you can clearly see on my phone it’s been my birthday. “Well it’s not my problem either”. We ended up paying cash, not claiming my points and cakeless. Then we get in the car and it’s like she’s purposely burnt the milk in the coffee. I always ask for blue milk because it’s silky smooth, this was to the point of boiling. I never leave reviews but this lady’s attitude ruined my evening!

So today I visited costa on heeley retail park. I was served by a lady who had tattoos on her arms (she was lovely) then as I’m waiting for my food/drinks the woman who is making them doesn’t even once make eye contact. She then slammed one of the drinks on the side without saying a word. I said “I’ll take this to my table and come back for the other” no response not even a look in my direction. She then slammed my second drink on the other customers tray. Without saying a word. I think she may have been the shift manager or assistant manager. I believe she needs a course on customer service as she quite clearly has 0 experience. A simple smile or hello or have a nice day would of been great. As a manager who has worked in the hospitality industry for a long time I think this is disgraceful to see from a costa store, especially such a busy one! Regards Disappointed Customer

Staff grumpy and unhelpful, worse since reopened after lock down. I’ve been to other Costas with same Covid procedures in place but their staff don’t bark orders to people like this place. Covid is tough on everyone, you are doing your job not doing customers some big favour.

It is apparently impossible to buy a coffee here unless you are a tech geek with a super smartphone. The Costa app has no link to the track and trace system and they have no alternative options to do this. More interested in doing his stock take than bothering to help prospective customers. Also making people wait outside when there was ample room to socially distance. Better sort that out before it gets any colder or they will lose business big time.

As a regular customer to this costa I am finally giving up. The staff (barring the new young girl and the friendly male manager with short hair) are absolutely MISERABLE. Every time I have been into this costa I have been snapped at, dismissed or treat rudely. This visit was the last straw, not only were BOTH our drinks made incorrectly but we were ignored while we waited and our drinks slammed on the side with no thankyou, hello, Or even announcing our drinks were done. It’s not difficult to listen to an order, even if it is misunderstood it’s not difficult to communicate. There need to be some serious changes to management because it’s extremely off putting and it’s been this way since BEFORE covid-19 so it is no excuse. Ponytail man needs training as do the older women who work there as they simply come across as rude, bored and unprofessional. Sort yourselves out.

There is a guy who works here who has a beard and a ponytail, he needs to learn how to smile, after all it costs nothing.

All the staff at this costa want sacking, they’re all as miserable as sin and shouldn’t be working there if they don’t enjoy it, not a place you want to be with the staff as miserable as they are.

It’s in a retail park so plenty of parking available. I visit plenty of Costa’s, as I much prefer the coffee over Starbucks etc. However this one seriously has the rudest staff I’ve ever come across in a Costa!! In particular, worthy of note was ‘Sammy’ with long hair in ponytail and beard. He was so rude, that had I not actually come to meet up with someone at that Costa, I would have walked out. Even when he passed the coffee over to me it was almost ’shoved’. Certainly not service with a smile!!!

We have been served the wrong drinks TWICE on two separate occasions by the same miserable woman who works there. Not only that, we were talked to disgustingly and couldn't wait to leave🙄

I rarely go to Costa because personally I prefer Starbucks, but unfortunately, there are 3 Costas within walking distance of my house and no Starbucks. I got a black forest hot chocolate to take out. It was sub-standard and definitely not worth the £3 something that I paid for it. When I got to the bottom of the drink there were all lumps of chocolate powder. I also found the members of staff that were working a little rude. Even though this is close to my house, I won't be going back.

I use this Costa probably every other week.... all I can say is it’s a good job the coffee is good as the woman that has just made my coffee never looked at me literally shoved the latte on the counter....never made eye contact???? Am I missing something... no matter how you feel if you are dealing with the public you should have a smile on your face 24/7 she needs a kick up the bum if she was working under me she would be took into the back & told.... plenty of people out there looking for a job!!! Come on Costa your going to loose customers because of your staff!!!!
