Nice costa branch in oldbury retail park, staff are friendly, tidy and a nice chilled atmosphere, it can get busy and food is over priced but that's just costa in general but nice enough for a visit with a friend every couple of weeks.

Average in my opinion. Only go there to meet my parents now and then. They get orders wrong, they cost to much and they really need to do something about the litter bins outside. 1 is always overflowing because thats the direction people walk leaving litter blowing all over the place and the other bin is empty because nobody walks that way. Doesn't really give a good impression when the frontage of your business is covered in litter.

the staff were so sweet today. they were probably really tired by this point because we headed there a little less than an hour before closing time, but they didn’t show it at all, they were really pleasant. they gave my little sister a small hot chocolate instead of just plain milk, and the cappuccino today was flawless

I wonder if there is someone who is experiencing the hot sweats at this place as the air con is ridiculous. A loud, unpleasant visit. Each time I mention the temperature the staff don’t appear concerned.

The food is amazing , the staff are lovely but the only problem is there is air conditioning is extremely loud and coffee machine is too can’t hear what people arresting unless you shout

Absolutely horrific place to sit and have a conversation or work on a laptop with a 75 decibel drone from the air con. Literally made me nauseous after half an hour and the staff couldn't give a flying hoot.

Quite busy, and not many sandwiches available due to the festive options, but good and drinks were still amazing!

Gets busy at lunch time. Don't stay for business as there's a 3 hour limit on the car park £100 fine.

Served by 2 young ladies who were preoccupied by a till recipt that was incorrect. Totally ignored the fact that a queue was forming. Eventually decided to take orders again. Both drinks were tasteless - thank you for spoiling my day!

I only coffee, no food. The coffee was beautiful as always. I have it half-caf (half decaf, half normal), which they always do for me.

Really not surprised by the high rating for this branch of Costa. Its a newer store so benefits from the latest design and layout. It has massive parking space due to being on a gargantuous retial parl. This also means you can get all your shop done in one visit and have a deserved coffe break. Theres a Sainsburys across the road too. The staff are super and I forget her name but the manageress is exceptional. Every visit she goes out of her way to make all the customers really comfortable. The prices are the prices and Costa can be beat. But the choice is big and the quality is very good.

Just tried an Irish Velet Christmas drink, rather nice, but is little too sweet for me! Try it see what you think!

Took 25-30 minutes to get served, had 4 members of staff on, 2 were doing delivery orders, one was around by the sandwiches and one person taking orders with a que out the door. Priorities completely off. Need to be way more organised and prioritise your customers in your store.

Dead atmosphere, dead in the head staff, poorly understaffed and grossly overpriced. Tables cleaned sporadically and, more often than not, usually by customers. Locality determined my visit but it's definitely not ever going to be a first choice.

I went to this Costa for a birthday coffee and snack with my daughter. The customer service provided by Callun was excellent. He advised me of the content of the toasties, the special offers and wished my daughter happy birthday. He had a really friendly and warm manner which made us both feel really relaxed and welcome. Well done Conner. We will be back.

Very friendly staff. Little bit of a wait for my coffee but hey I'd expect that when they are making your perfect coffee. Comfortable location to relax and the best thing is it's free parking.

I pop in mow and again for a hot chocolate but its never hot enough but it clean and tidy and staff are good at their jobs

nice location, drinks are well made. Service is great. Place is kept clean as well which is a big plus considering how other Costas can be filthy so this is a credit to the staff.

If you're looking for somewhere to work from aside from home or the office avoid this place. Wifi is terrible, either super slow or kept freezing. Couldn't get reception on phone from here to tether from personal hotspot instead. Also had the air conditioning on full blast in the seating area in December! Asked one of staff if they could either switch it off or raise the temperature, they were not able to do either. Giving two stars because the coffee was decent.

We had a wrap that was over cooked and coffee was tasting burnt ,staff was run off their feet has short staff again ,

Have visited before. Popped here today for a bite to eat and a pit stop. The lady who served me (Kate) was very friendly and helpful. I love the fact that percy pigs are now available to buy! The spicy steak sandwich and peach tea were lovely. However was a bit disappointed with the cinnamon bun as it was ridiculously dry on the inside. The atmosphere left a bit to desire as there was a mother letting her kids make a lot of noise - I don't want to be one of those people - but it was excessive and she was too busy talking on the phone to be paying any attention. It appeared to be putting off other customers.

Costa coffee is truly amazing with its flavours. You stick your choice and doesn't change anywhere you go in the UK.

Large seating area, nice environment to sit in. However it is often extremely busy with long waits (this is especially true when ordering via UberEats) and recently they keep running out of oat milk. I also no longer get the leaflet with barcode to collect points when ordering a delivery -why?

Order regularly on uber eats, firstly extremely long wait times and on most if not all orders missing items which is quite frustrating as ordering for all employees. Not sure how the same mistakes are constantly made and when call no response.

Good coffee including a baby Costa (warm milk) in an espresso cup, a first Costa for our granddaughter. We sat outside the sun came out between the heavy showers.We were sat next to the car park so not the greatest atmosphere but otherwise, cheerful staff and a much needed break while shopping.

The staff make this place great, hard working team that try hard and are committed to great customer service. Coffee is good and facilities nice. The only negative is they leave the door open and it’s never quite warm enough in here. Also of worthy mention, the app to collect rewards in all Costa stores doesn’t work very well, I have deleted mine now. Well done all Costa staff at Oldbury, your way head of the other Costa stores I have visited.

I visited Costa Oldbury yesterday with my husband to get a hot chocolate. I waited in the queue for a good 10 minutes when I got served I asked what hot chocolate is gluten free. Different staff members came over and all of them said no it’s got milk in it. I said serval times I am okay with milk it’s wheat I am unable to have. They didn’t listen. In the end I had to leave with having a drink. The staff are so uneducated on allergies and intolerances it’s so distressing for the customer as they couldn’t even be bothered to check their book! They just kept telling me everything has gluten in it which I know this is not the case. They were so unhelpful, for such a big company you would think the staff members would be more helpful if I had a nut allergy they would have to accommodate me! I have celiac disease and they did not accommodate me at all! It was such poor service I will not be returning there again. It is shocking that in this day and age people are so uneducated when they would in this sector!! Poor experience and distressing for the customers I will not return again!!!!!

The queues are always long, and the staff don’t seem particularly urgent in rectifying this. Staff are also incredibly loud and intrusive, often shouting at each other - across you - across the cafe.

Definitely better than the other nearby Costas (West Brom & Dudley). I found the staff to be much nicer, and the coffee tastes better. Conveniently placed in a retail park so ideal for a caffeine boost before hitting the nearby stores.

This combined male/female toilet dirty, toilet seat hanging off and numerous lights blown in the seating area., been like this for months, and nobody wants to put it right

Good Location near Oldbury town center and retail park. Good choices of dairy alternatives for your coffees. Outdoor seating also available as well as inside clean and hygiene standards are good.

Got to Costa tonight about 635 after waiting in que to be served we were told its640 now you have to have take away cups but the time on the door says closes at 7 its only when some staff are on we go regularly 4 times a week I think Costa should check more through out late shifts and this includes your managers
